bought GPS tracker so misleading the GPS is just an app but they are like air tags , BT/Bluetooth so the range is like 30 feet, 10meters, rubbish waste of time and money, gear-tech are scammers, maybe we see them on the BBC sometime soon AVOID there reviews are so bad.

Scammers, say they haven't record off your purchase.

Beginning to wonder if I have been scammed!

UPDATE: 161125
Delivered around 19:00 in a skimpy poly bag.
Both boxes looked as if previously opened, and were very light.
So now I have 2 solar chargers, no instructions, nothing on box to identify as items I paid for,
Have to wait and see what response I get from "gear-tech.uk" which is just an email address and not a registered company.

psssst: still states "pending/does not exist" when I try and check on the status of the order.

Wish I had checked here first.

A very trust worthy company with great customer care, Evri had lost the parcel and where helpful too.
Gear tech have sent another one out the same day i raised it with them, no fussing or questioning.
I would not hesitate in ordering from them in the future.
I guess its Evri that has let them down so maybe a different courier service would improve the end outcome depending how regularly they mess up i guess.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Brought a drone from here the one that was sent was nothing like the website plus it didn’t work and parts were missing. I paid 119.99 and refused to accept my return or give me a refund. SCAMMERS

They say on the website no hassle returns but despite my legal right to change my mind and return with 28 days and not give a reason they are refusing the product wasn’t as expected and I wasn’t happy with it but by law I don’t need a reason there’s a 14 day cooling off period for goods bought online and I’m within the 14 days and they are refusing so I have raised a dispute with paypal and have contacted trading standards they were featured on rip off Britain for this reason and il be contacting them also

Unfortunately, I cannot give a minus. Gear Tech purports to be a UK based company, but having read their own glowing reviews, I purchased a Wi-Fi router from them via Paypal for £36.96p.
I received the item over 2 weeks later from a company called Balma LLC. Having charged the router and without even using it, I found that it was significantly losing its charge after just a few hours.
I sought a full refund from Gear Tech who replied via Balma and I was offered, initially a 15% refund and then a 50% refund. They quoted £30+ to return the item to China.
I escalated the complaint to Paypal, who were ineffective and they closed the case as they deemed that I had not responded in time despite e-mails, chat bot and their own complaint procedure.
Read the reviews regarding Balma and you will see the derogatory remarks.
Please re-consider buying from Gear Tech if they are using such companies and their own returns policy is not fit for purpose, just like the router!

Terrible customer service! Bought an item, 1 week later still no comms. Enquired and got an email back to say that their policy is to process orders in 1-3 days and shipping is up to 21 days with a link to the tracking. When I checked the tracking, they processed the order when I wrote to enquire about it. When I asked to give and exact timeframe on the delivery, Ivan R just said there's nothing they could do and I just need to wait for the order. Here's a tip.....buy through PayPal!!! I went to PayPal, raised a query and was refunded immediately!!! If you can't adhere to your own policies and procedure, them place the vlame on customers, YOU SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS, YOU UNETHICAL HACKS!!!!

The biggest sham of a company. Do not buy anything from this company if there is a chance you may need to return it. They so not reply to emails and when they do they are no help whatsoever. They do not abide by distant selling regulations, and I don't believe for one second they are anything to do with the UK. They are not a store you can trust. Easy Returns Hassle-free returns for your convenience is a total lie. If I could have given this a 0 I would. The only saving grace is paying through PayPal.

I wish you could leave zero stars. Completely disappointing service, and I believe the product was misrepresented. When it arrived (headphones) they looked cheap, and the control buttons were incoherent. Charging cable looked odd, and there was no instructions. When I contacted customer service they said they did not accept returns on items unless they were damaged, even though on the website it says they offer 100% satisfaction and hassle free returns! I’m only glad that they were very expensive, but it was still a waste of money! Avoid!

They send you the wrong item and refuse to exchange under the fraudulent policy, or they expect you to pay for the return charge for there mistake to china where all there there crap comes from.

I managed to get a credit voucher for the value but to spend on more of there shit so, ordered 30 meter solar lights, they sent only 5 meter and was back to same situation with them refusing to send me the correct item or giving money back

Just want to make people aware that this website has just appeared on the UK TV consumer rights show Rip Off Britain. Scam company that mark up items and then send you cheap items direct from China. AVOID!

Ordered £120 drone and received the completely wrong one just the same colour which you can buy from another website for £30. It was so dangerous that it cut my wife’s legs as it randomly took off without controls. It also failed to stop.
They refuse to refund.

ABSOLUTE SCAM!! Do not buy from here! If I could give it zero stars I would. Advertised as a UK company, it is not. Item came from China. Defective & despite pics & videos sent to prove it was defective they had the cheek to say I used ‘excessive force’ when trying to take the plug out of the socket (it didn’t go in to begin with 😂) thankfully I had paid by PayPal so was able to raise a dispute but AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Ordered two “premium” solar chargers in early October, supposedly reduced from £74.99 to £30. They arrived separately in flimsy jiffy bags and turned out to be cheap imports with awful spelling like “high efficeency” and “Do not let unqaulified people use it.” Nothing like what was advertised.

Customer service has been useless – they just repeat that I’m “outside the return period” even though their site promises “hassle-free returns” and “satisfaction guaranteed.” They’ve refused a refund and only offered a small discount. Total scam vibes – don’t waste your money.

Cheaply made products shipped from China and sold in the UK at over inflated prices. When you want your money back you're asked to return the item tracked to Dallas Texas!!

Truly dreadful service. I ordered a product for £75. It arrived 15 days later in polystyrene and tape without the original manufacturer's box. It was not what i ordered. When I informed them of their mistake they said it would cost me £30 to return it. When I pointed out it was not what i ordered they offered instructions on how to use an item I had not ordered. I will never use this company again. I now have a product I cannot sell on and is of no use to me.
