Good and pretty bad

I really need to break this review down into two parts. The time taken to do the job and the quality of the workmanship.
It took four weeks from the date that I called into the workshop to get the damage accessed and the date of pickup for repair. I was updated 4 days later that the repair estimate timescale was a further 14 days which I thought was totally unacceptable.
One week after that message I rang to get an update. I was given numerous excuses about courtesy cars. Technically difficult paintwork on my vehicle and various problems getting the ADAS system checks completed. These where all problems that where well known and should not have presented a problem.
During my dealings I was under the impression that the workshop was unable to cope with the demand for repairs that they were expected to cope with. Vehicles appeared to be coming in from long distances away.
When my car was eventually brought back to me it only took me a few seconds with my dodgy eyesight to find a problem. That took another 24hrs to put right.
The day of my final delivery back to me I had a phone call to say my vehicle would be back in ten to fifteen minutes. That was actually nearly two hours.
During this whole process 120 miles was put on my virtually new vehicle totally unacceptable.
Communication was inaccurate throughout the whole process.
Now for the good part, Gemini have repaired my vehicles several times over the years and I have never had a problem before. All the staff I had face to face dealings with were very pleasant to deal with. Eventually the quality of repair as before appears to be very good, but the whole experience was marred by the timescales involved in the repair and the poor communication.
This I think is a problem from the last few years where the insurance companies insist on their preferred repair companies and they just can’t cope with demand.

Spent 90min on phone trying to get…

Spent 90min on phone trying to get through, to arrange a pick up date...no one answered so had to go out of my way to visit store personally... lady on front desk was clueless and gave nothing but excuses.
Car was picked up and we were told it would definitely be done for the Friday.. Friday came and not even a phone call to say it wasnt ready... eventually picked it up on the Tue. (4days later)
Picked the car up... went to the office and stood there for literally 10min before the same lady on front desk decided her prority was finishing her cigarette outside before serving the customer.... and then had to take it back next day... rear trim hadnt been put back properly and was hanging off, and the lining under the wheel arch wasnt put back very well at all... its still loose now!!
Upon picking it up, the reversing camera had been pulled off. I was told it fell off while being cleaned (total LIE, the car was quite dusty inside on the dash board) so it def hadnt been cleaned... not to mention the fact that if he DID knock it off by accident, which happens, wouldnt it be the courteous thing to put it back rather than leave it?? Oh, and then tell me to hurry up while I was putting it back on right !!!
So... awful customer service, and not very good workmanship either.. and employees who think its ok to brazzenly lie to a customer!!! wouldnt use them again even if it was free.

Avoid Edinburgh Gemini ARC at all costs!!!

Avoid this garage while you still can! It may look fine on the outside, but the quality of work is terrible. If I could, I would give it far less than one star.

It took three and a half months—and countless complaints—just to get the car almost fixed. I’m still waiting for a trim piece to be delivered.

This is the kind of place where, no matter how wrong they are, they’ll never admit it. The customer service is awful, and the response from the owner to my written complaint was nothing more than a dismissive rebuke.

I collected the car with numerous scratches—on a bumper that had supposedly been replaced and repaired.

An “independent inspection” was arranged by esure, carried out by someone named Kenny at Hoopers. That turned out to be another disappointment, as he failed to identify any of the scratches. I can’t help but question how thorough that inspection really was.

The car is still not fully fixed, but at this point, I’m just relieved to have it back from this garage.

Avoid at all costs!!!

I have been dealing with Gemini based in Rotherham on behalf of my brother as he was taken ill and needed to return his hire car whilst his was repaired. Quality repairers, brilliant customer service!

After a recent non-fault accident, the insurers directed to Gemini Accident Repair for a rear quarter repair. The entire experience was flawless. Communication was excellent, from the initial call and photo-gathering to the seamless collection and delivery of the car. The repair quality is outstanding, and they even returned the car spotless inside and out—a huge bonus as it was quite grubby beforehand! Highly recommended.

I recently had my Citroën C1 repaired…

I recently had my Citroën C1 repaired at Gemini Accident Repair Centre in Telford after some rear-end damage. I’m very impressed with their service.

From the start, the staff were professional and responsive. They arranged a courtesy car for me, which made the process much easier. During the repair, they identified the source of a persistent water leak in my boot — something I’d been struggling to trace myself. They resealed the tailgate correctly and replaced the boot liner, which shows they pay attention to detail and take responsibility for damage caused by water ingress.

I appreciated how thorough they were: they explained what had caused the leak (the rear window heater wiring grommet) and how they fixed it.

Overall, I found Gemini Accident Repair Centre professional, transparent, and trustworthy. My car now feels fully repaired, and I feel confident in their work. Highly recommended for anyone needing accident repairs or tricky water leak issues.

Job well done.

Very pleased with the service received from Gemini ARC Luton. Thank you, and a big 'job-well-done' shout-out to both Nicole & James for keeping me informed by phone throughout each and every step of the repair process, and to Colin for the professional and courteous manner in which he dealt with the collection and delivery process.

I felt both valued as a customer and respected as an individual unfortunate enough to have been involved in an RTC on Xmas Eve, of all times.

In the nicest possible way, I hope not to have to come back to Gemini... but if I do, it will be with a sense of confidence and comfort that I and my car will be in the best possible of hands.

Gemini Accident Repair Centre

Gemini Accident Repair Centre, Chesterfield was nominated to repair our trusty VW Golf following a minor accident. From the outset, communication was excellent with very good management of expectations and clear information regarding time-line etc. There was some delay before the repairs could be carried out but with the Christmas and New Yesr holidays in between and the car being quite safe to drive, this was not in any way a problem.

All the staff we dealt with at Gemini were polite and seemed keen to oblige. Our car was collected from our home when a smart and spotless courtesy car was delivered by a friendly driver who took the time to explain the basics of the main controls.
In the end a new front bumper was fitted and the following afternoon the car returned in very clean condition. We couldn’t fault the repair or the colour match.

In an age where really good customer service is rare, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with a company who really appears to value its customers.

Gemini in ILFRACOMBE have just dropped back our beloved FIESTA .What a fantastic service from the first phone call everything ran like a well oiled machine we were kept informed by the office every step of the way perfect finish INVISABLE MENDING would sum it up and the unexpected bonus of a car clean inside and out to be honest I we did not think company’s like GEMINI existed any more and I speak of 55years of dealing with garages in three different countries thank you GEMINI TOM AND GERARDINE O BRIEN

A waiting game with faults unchecked

This took forever. After the car was collected, we waited 11/2 weeks for an initial assessment. Then a further 2 weeks for the parts to come in (a boot door and new exhaust). The car then had to be returned because the (flagged up) exhaust fault had not been fixed. Another 5 days without the car. On the first drive out we noticed the steering felt 'lumpy' only to discover the tyres needed replacing- not the fault of Gemini but shocking that this was not flagged up at the garage or by the driver who drove the car 40 miles back to us. One positive was the friendly customer service but she did tell me that the app was useless and to not bother with it.

Accident repairs

The accident repairs carried out by the Worcester branch were excellent.We were kept informed of progress ,the receptionist was helpful and polite and the car had been valeted before it was returned

Pretty poor customer service

"Computer says NO type of service" our local branch was great though. Nice service from 34 West Telferton Industrial Estate branch hence the rating.

Excellent Service

Gemini repaired damage to my car following an accident, communications were great, they explained what would be repaired and timescales for repair and kept me updated throughout. It was ready on the date they said it would be ready for and on collection you couldn't tell the car had been damaged, they even washed the car for me, all staff were very friendly and professional

Gemini Accident Repair Centre Telford were absolutely brilliant! From initial contact, through updates on how the work was doing, to liaising with us to have our car ready to collect at the agreed place. We can't praise them highly enough. We have a written guarantee for the work which was excellent and they were the one experience in the whole 'no-fault' claim situation that gave us any confidence. Thank you to you and all the team. DO NOT USE GEMINI !!

My van was taken to Gemini repair Leicester on the day of the accident, May 13th 2025 ........ not seen it since.
Loads of calls and texts saying they will let me know when its done ....... still not done !!
For 4 months they kept saying they were awaiting a seat belt tensioner !!!
Then they were waiting for software for the jig ( whatever that means)
Then it was going on the jig.
Now, they are awaiting another part they didn't realise they needed for the repair !!
Basically, utterly ridiculous!!!
How can a repair take almost half a year ?
Answers on a post card !!
DO NOT USE GEMINI REPAIR CENTRE !
Ignore that at your peril.
Im convinced they dont know what they are doing.

Absolute back-street garage standard

Absolute back-street garage standard of repair. This was a non-fault claim where someone hit my parked car, and Esure directed me to this garage — unfortunately, I had no choice. Gemini ARC Leeds.

Communication was terrible throughout. They never answer calls, and updates were minimal. The quality of the repair is shocking:
• Bubbling paint left on the panels
• Side skirt not even touched with damage clearly visible
• Headlamp still grazed and not replaced
• Bonnet damage not repaired, left horribly misaligned
• Front grill left hanging off
• Parking sensors now intermittent
• The original bumper, which was heavily damaged, has been poorly repaired instead of replaced

Initially, they told me the repair wouldn’t happen until November 2025, but suddenly, after just over a week, the car was “done” and dropped off — clearly rushed and unfinished.

I’m now working with my insurance to try to get this mess sorted properly. Avoid this garage at all costs.
