Taking a Motability lease vehicle in for repair was really helped by the offer from staff to give me a lift home. The car had previously been inspected to give the insurers an estimate. Parts were ordered in advance so the repair was quickly done, with updates sent by text, and a completion date given with sufficient notice for us to co-ordinate the collection of our hire car replacement.
Our vehicle’s repair achieved an ‘as new’ finish, with the bodywork cleaned, and interior vacuumed, and spotless.
Thank you Steer for an efficient, courteous service, and for giving us back an ‘as new’ vehicle.

Initial communication was poor, with no updates between first contact and booking, and I had to chase for information. However, the East Croydon team were excellent with great communication with daily updates, punctual collection and return, and very friendly drivers. The repair itself was outstanding and you can’t tell where the damage was. That said, the car was returned with only 3 out of 4 wheel nuts on the front left tyre, with the locking nut left and key in the centre console. Great repair work, but the safety issue is concerning especially as it was driven back this way.

My experience with Steer was extremely easy and effortless with the body repairs needed to my Vehicle that were carried out in a most professional and qualitative manner.

Excellent: The bodywork repair. The staff service when in-person at the repair site. The cleaning service.

Good: The text communications providing updates.

Poor: It was virtually impossible to connect via phone. The voice message box was full. This happened on seven out of eight attemps. Eventually, I drove 5 miles to the Steer offices in order to communcate.

Great service from collecting the car from my home to allowing me to collect the car and drop off the hire car, from another hire company for collection , at their Chippenham branch. Lovely friendly people that kept me informed and updated every step of the way. I highly recommend them.

Great repairs done, paint work and body look as good as new. Repairs took awhile but were worth it, not too much communication which was a little frustrating and would of liked to have known what work was carried following an accident. Work has been guaranteed and we were dealt with very professionally in the office. Overall a very happy customer.

Fantastic service and quality work from the whole team at Steer Worthing. Josh, Ben and the whole team turned our car around quickly and to an excellent standard. Communication was great and the price was fair. The finished product was a car that looked like new. Special mention to the valeter who made sure the car was immaculate inside as well as out.

Whilst lovely when my van needed a repair, the repair definitely did not at first meet to standard and was returned. I still have issues and despite e-mailing I have had no response. I called 3 times today, no-one available to take my call and voice box full. Really frustrated with this. It is a camper van. I have to slam the sliding door for it to close properly and it is impossible to close securely from the inside. so if it rains... it leaks...a lot!Hoping someone reads tis and gets back to me.

Everything went smoothly and as agreed at the beginning of the process

Efficient repair and excellent customer service. Collected my car from my home and left me with a courtesy car during the repair. The repair was completed early and I was met at work to exchange the cars back. This was really convenient for me. My car was returned spotless.

Works van was booked in for a minor repair at the Ayr branch. The tech done a good job on the van while I waited. Teigan in reception was first class, great service and chatty! Top work and communication throughout was commendable.
