Not completely smooth sailing but…
Not completely smooth sailing but lovely quartz worktops, although there was a delay, it was worth the wait overall. There is a niggle where the two backsplashes aren’t flush and they couldn’t fix that so that is disappointing and I wish they could have fixed it or offered a discount.

Looks Great but......
the worktop fitting was done quickly and efficiently, although there are clear gaps between the splashbacks and wall that we will need to fill ourselves.
Main issue was cost - due to their finance company being utterly useless, cocking up an account set-up and stating we'd done things wrong (refuted by our bank and Experian). We either had to live with no worktops or pay via credit card (as opposed to interest-free).
So whilst the worktops look great, I will be paying nearly £1K more after taking interest payments into account.

Gorgeous worktops at a great price
The whole process with Gemini is extremely smooth. I tried to get worktops locally for our utility, I thought I could get an offcut as it is quite a small room. The prices though were crazy, I remembered I had samples from Gemini and it came in considerably cheaper for a brand new worktop. Super efficient, a great price and it looks perfect.

Cut out the middle man!
Finding a company via social media is a risk but, after diligent research, I made contact and started the conversation about my worktops. My kitchen supplier (Wren) had done the plans which were emailed/uploaded to Gemini and they did the rest of the work. The price was no comparison and it highlighted the mark-up that all of the kitchen suppliers are adding - it is significant. Template measurement day (mid December) was fine - all lasers for absolute precision and some good advice from the measurer around taps and upstands. Fitting day was around 3-4 weeks later due to the Christmas break so we had make-shift counters which Gemini don’t supply-bear that in mind. Fitting day arrived and the fitters were lovely chaps, careful and respectful of our new kitchen. They advised us how to look after our new worktops and did an amazing job. I am so pleased with my work tops. Gemini made it affordable to go for quartz which was my dream.

Flexible and transparent online ordering system. We visited the York showroom also and everyone was welcoming and very helpful. Good quality product. Limited range of quartz designs but several we liked. Good value for money. The template measuring was straight forward and carried out quickly and on time. The guys who fitted it did a great job and clearly took a pride in their job.
