I was regret to bit myself to purchased on this web.Ordered a men scarf on 15/10/2025，it comes to 1/12/2025 and I have not received anything. Contacted the customer service for over 10 times and they always said we will check then no answer anymore. Required to cancel the order but rejected.
It was a shame to know that it is a Chinese company.

Scam. Do not purchase

Exactly as all the other reviews say. My Mum was a victim of this company. However, YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK. Email them, get the evidence of them offering you silly 10/15% refunds, then get the evidence of them claiming that YOU must cover the return, and then they may refund you IF your parcel doesn't get 'seized'. Then take this to your bank, call them, or raise a dispute on the app. It is long winded, but you must not let these people get away with this.

I ordered an XXL coat from Gents of Britain and what arrived wasn’t even close — it fit like a men’s medium and the quality was nothing like what was advertised. After providing clear photo evidence, the company repeatedly offered tiny partial refunds (10%, 15%, 20%, 25%) or told me to return it at my own cost to China, despite marketing themselves as a UK brand with “standard UK sizing” and a “30-day money-back guarantee.”

After weeks of delays and back-and-forth, I had to escalate through my bank — and only then did they finally refund me in full.

I’m relieved it’s resolved, but the experience was unnecessarily stressful.
Please check sizing, quality, and reviews carefully before ordering.

Fraudulent advertising alluding to this being a British company and stating a product description that you don’t receive and with no means of receiving a refund. Plastic boots delivered instead of leather and laughable construction. Next step is to report to Trading Standards to try and stop anyone else being scammed.

I bought a wool overcoat, and 💯 polyester jacket turned up, it looked nothing like the photo, plain packaging (almost ‘Shein’ like), missing detail, a long jacket (not mid-length) no pockets, wrong shade of grey… the list goes on. I complained and was offered 10% refund back…. I ignored that and wrote-it-off as a scam… £60 lost. No way i can get my money back because i used a credit card, which only covers over £100

I will always, ALWAYS check reviews in future… the low score for Gents of (China) Britain - is not low enough.

Chinese Scammers

Don’t fall for the photos on the website as what you will get will be totally different and way smaller than what you order, a total sham of a company so don’t waste your money

The one time I didn't review a supplier online before ordering. Took an age to arrive, the quality is very poor, nothing like the image on the website and the sizing is not accurate. Went to return, it's expensive to send back and they give you a warning about customs seizing orders over £10. Basically pre-empting that they will not pay the refund. Appalling, do not use this company, arguably the worst purchase I have ever made online

Do NOT purchase from Gents of Britain. This site engages in fraudulent product misdescription and uses an intentionally obstructive returns process to prevent refunds.

The Lie: I ordered the "Wool Tweed" Thurlestone blazer. I received a cheap, poor-quality blazer made of polyester—not the advertised material. This is a clear case of "goods not as described" under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

The Scam: When I demanded a full refund, they refused a UK return and instead instructed me to ship the item, at my own expense, to a warehouse in China. They deliberately warned the package may be seized by customs or returned due to taxes (for declaring a value over €10), making a successful return impossible. They then offered a negligible 15% refund to make me keep the faulty item.

I have reported the company to Action Fraud (the UK Police national reporting centre for fraud).

Avoid this company at all costs. You will receive cheap knock-off goods and they will try to scam you out of your refund.

This company is a big scam, they managed tha i never recieve my order and evri sending me order confirmation with a pic from another address not mine, and they refuse refund,i belive they put my email on another order to scam me,, its a huge scamm

I don’t usually leave reviews but let’s cut to the chase here. If it was possible to leave a zero star rating for a company, this company would have a much lot lower rating. But as you can’t leave a zero star rating, let me tell you what you can expect. A product that in no way reflects the images they have copied off someone else’s websites. Fabrics that they advertise as wool, that are actually polyester, and could have and might have been made by a 5-year old. Plus when you try to trigger a return to get your money back you are met by endless bizarre messages about don’t return, we are environmentally friendly, we will give you 15% refund to keep the product or give it to someone else, or don’t return it and we will plant a tree as part of our net zero credentials.

Buyers beware. You will categorically not be happy with any product that comes from this company. Plus You are going to lose all your money.

If I could give zero stars I would. This company is a scam. Its products are from China which isn’t stated on their website, it makes you believe it’s delivered from EU. The delivery takes longer than 5-8 days, took over a month and the quality is poor. Only one item was delivered and the trying to get a refund or the other item is proving near impossible. Had raised a dispute with my credit card company.

Not even from Britain, China! Rubbish product, took ages to arrive, postage to return was more that I paid for the item. Stuck with tat!

This company are scammers !!! Do not use them ! They are based in China! They are expecting the customer to pay for the item to be returned to China 🤬 They are refusing to accept that there sizing is quite obviously not uk sizes !! And have offered me a 15% refund on a coat that cost £60 and is at least 3 times to small , Avoid this company like the plague 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I strongly advise against ordering from this company. The product quality is terrible, customer service is unhelpful, and the return process is extremely difficult. This appears to be a fraudulent operation run by a scam company based in China.

Absolutely rubbish. Incredibly small and very plasticky. Took weeks to be delivered.
They’ve offered 15% of purchase price if I don’t send them back. They are a Chinese rip off. You have to pay for customs and postage to return them.
They say they are British and then tell you they are only in China.

Purchased “suede” shoes from a company apparently in The Netherlands., they are not! All in China, shoes were not suede, and it would be very hard to get a refund by return to China, they kept offering me different levels of refund to keep the shoes, I have received no refund and am no prepared to fund the cost of return to China for probably no refund if you actually get any info!

Not a British comoanu at all. Cheap Chinese products. Scammers. They will send you a product on the wrong colour that looks nothing like what you order they will then only accept products back to an address in central China whereby they know it will cost you more than the product or at least half of the product costs again to return it knowing you will likely not do it. They also ask you to lie to customs and declare at a value of under 10 dollars or they will get charged tax. They are cheating both uk and Chinese customs and should be banned from being able to sell over here. Will be reporting to trading standards. Do not touch this company or you will be pit of pocket. Still requesting a full refund but still being robbed off by the company they pay to handle customer services which is in the Netherlands.

Its a complete scam! Cheap products on a good looking website with beautiful pictures. The pictures look good but its when the products arrive you realize they are not even 1/10th of the price. Suddenly fake positive reviews have started to come up and I found couple of copy and paste and flagged to Trustpilot who have removed it. On their website they say they only ship to UK, but the positive reviews are from US, Germany, Denmark and UK!
Stay away as you do not have much legal recourse. Credit card will not cover less than £100, its a company registered in Netherlands and operates from China. Well they do deliver and products look same as website but they are very very cheap items. Stay Away completely! and when you want to return its a nightmare. The haggling starts form 10% refund and all the nonsense of Chinese customs charging you and CO2 emissions. DO NOT BUY!
