I didn’t like this experience at all I felt rush and it was the most impersonal experience I ever had in a business transaction..

We purchased our leased GM at the end June 2023. The financing with GM Mode was seamless, so they did a great job with the difficult part of the process. It was the easy part of the process they dropped the ball on. There is a license plate questionnaire related to having vanity plates. Our vehicle has vanity plates and we stated on the form that yes we wanted to keep the vanity plates with the vehicle. Imagine our surprise when new plates were delivered on July 25th. We contacted the DMV and they explained that GM Mode or their title company requested new plates and there was no mention of transferring plates. We have had to contact GM Mode several times over the past week and there is always an excuse such as it will take us a couple days to figure out what happened and we will get back to you. They never got back to us so I had to follow up and the next excuse was oh we are waiting for the title company to response. It’s excuse after excuse with absolutely no follow up by GM Mode, so their customer service is horrendous and disappointing. We are sure this is a common error that is probably easy to fix but when GM Mode accepts no responsibility for the error and does not follow up as promised, the error has yet to be resolved and it’s a problem that tarnishes the GM Finance brand.

All paperwork was simple & done online in a timely fashion.

The whole process was great. The only shortfall I noticed was there could have been more instruction on what to expect up front. Kind of like a table of contents outlining the steps and expectations
