To clarify, you purchased these items as a trade customer. Under our professional trade terms, all returns must be pre-approved, and cancellations or returns after dispatch are subject to standard restocking and cancellation fees (terms that do not apply to standard retail customers). You ordered two corten steel pedestals, which are explicitly advertised on our website as arriving in their unrusted state, with the explanation that they naturally develop their rust patina over time outdoors.
Upon delivery, you rejected the pallet because the units were unrusted. When we clarified that this was exactly as advertised and that trade cancellation fees would apply since the order had already been dispatched, you then informed us that the items were scratched. We must politely disagree with this claim. We have strict quality checks and clear photo evidence of these specific pedestals arriving back at our warehouse in perfect condition.
We always strive to provide fair and adequate solutions for our clients, but we must adhere to our agreed-upon trade terms when an order is rejected outside of a manufacturing fault. We processed your remaining refund in strict accordance with those professional terms, and we are sorry that you feel disappointed with the outcome.

Slow refund process after receiving a chipped planter
I was very disappointed with my experience. The planter arrived chipped and damaged, so I asked for it to be collected as I didn’t want a replacement after already waiting a long time for delivery.
The planter was collected last Tuesday, but when I contacted customer service to ask about my refund, I was told the warehouse had only just received it. I then received an email saying I now have to wait a further 3–7 working days for the refund to be processed.
This has been a frustrating and unnecessarily slow process. Through no fault of my own, I have been left without the planter I ordered, which has delayed planting my tree. I expected a much quicker refund for an item that arrived in a damaged condition.
Overall, I am disappointed with the service and the length of time it has taken to resolve this issue.

To clarify the details of your order, our team noted that the planter didn't actually have a structural chip or damage, but rather a minor cosmetic imperfection. Regardless, we wanted to help you out, so we assisted you with the return right away and confirmed we would be in touch once the goods safely arrived back at our warehouse.
Because our warehouse team handles hundreds of orders every single day, it can take up to a week to physically process incoming returns. We do apologize for that slight delay, but as soon as the item was confirmed as safely received, we updated you. While we stated that the refund would take the standard 3–7 working days, we actually went ahead and processed it right away.
We always strive to be as helpful as possible, and we took care of your request as quickly as our processes allowed. We are sorry to see such negative feedback given that we supported you every step of the way, but we wish you the best with your planting.
