Amazing experience at Holton Croft!

We are a little family and first time buyers, we’ve recently moved into our house on Holton Croft, i honestly haven’t got one bad word to say about the whole process!

Charlotte from sales has been absolutely amazing, communication is 5 star. She is definitely a very good addition to the team, she has made sure we have been sorted quickly and talked us through every step of the way in a short space of time!

Alannah, deputy site manager, she should be site manager because she is absolutely fantastic, to be fair she’s doing the site managers job anyway she’s always been our point of contact from day one, absolutely nothing has been a problem when we’ve asked any questions she has answered! When little things have come up as an issue Alannah has resolved it straight away!

The aftercare is second to none so far, so pleased we’ve bought here your looked after that’s for sure!

Also our house is amazing some defects to be expected but nothing major, overall a very very happy customer! Thankyou from Jordan, Luke and Louie :)

Their After Sales Is Non-Existant

There after sales is rubbish. They do not want to fix problems that they have caused. When we moved in, our back garden looked like a dump for builders rubbish. They came and rotated it to remove bricks, rocks, builders rubbish. They could not of rotated very deep because when the weather turned nice, I started to dig the garden and found loads more builders rubbish and a lump of concrete about 2-3 meters wide and 5-6 meters long about an inch under the soil. I raised a complaint with Gleeson's and they refused to do anything about it.

If you get a problem with your house due to shoddy workmanship, don't expect Gleeson's to sort it out.

No aftercare as promised

When our property was handed over to us, we were told on our doorstep from the sales team and the head of builders, that should we have any problems with ANYTHING on site to get in touch with customer service. Our problem is regarding the covenants that we had to sign, these are not being adhered to with quite a few properties on our housing development. Contacted customer service who have literally told us, there is nothing they can do to make sure all properties uphold these, get legal advice! So asked a solicitor and they have told us that the developer can enforce them while still in control of the site —which they are! Very disappointed in the over-promising during sales and now falling back on the legal reality.

Great Customer Service And Home

Buying my first home at Gleeson Shorelands in Ingoldmells has been an amazing experience from start to finish. As a first-time buyer, I had a lot of questions and uncertainties, but Liam Conneely, the sales advisor on site, has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. He’s gone above and beyond to support me, checking in regularly and making sure I feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.

The quality of the house itself is excellent — I really love the build and attention to detail. Whenever I’ve had a question or needed something looked at, I’ve always received a prompt and helpful response, along with clear advice.

The location is also a dream come true. Living so close to the sea is something I’ve always wanted, and this development is perfect for that lifestyle.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience and would highly recommend Gleeson Shorelands to anyone looking for a new home. A genuinely 5-star experience!

New Home

We have loved it so far, the house is beautiful and is just about starting to feel like home.

The whole experience has been good from start to finish. Any questions we had were answered quickly. There really are no negatives to mention.

We did have a few defects but they were sorted out by Neil and the team within the week and he assured us that any other problems we may face will be rectified so we have nothing but good to say about everyone involved at Gleesons.

Jess helped us with everything on the sales side of things and made life a lot easier for us by explaining everting in detail and checking on us to make sure we were okay through the process and understood everything.

We would like to thank you all for the time and effort that you have put into our home and with us throughout the whole journey.

Lyons edge by gleesons

Reserved our blessington back end of January with Dani and lyons edge. She's been an absolute gem the whole way through and always nice and chatty every time we popped in to see how things were going.

Emily joined towards the end and like dani she's had everything sorted before we heard anything from the legal side of things as well as being lovely to deal with.

As for the site manager gav has been amazing any questions about the house or the equipment inside he's explained it all really well, any little snags we've come across if we've happened across him on site he's popped in and sorted it within minutes.

All in lyons edge is definitely earning its popularity peaceful well built and with a great site team.

Brilliant customer service from Gleeson

The customer service has been excellent. Initially Andie in the sales office, then Shirley; and the site manager Steve and his deputy Gavin, and everyone on site working with them, have been so friendly and so helpful. These staff are really good - Gleeson should clone them!

I have been chasing since SEPTEMBER

I have been chasing since September as to the state that our estate has been left in. They have moved off this site now and it is clearly out of sight, out of mind. Constantly being fobbed off with the same ‘we are chasing our technical department’ response. The management company have not took over yet so it is of the responsibility of Gleeson to do this yet these ‘managed’ areas have been left for months and months leaving it a scruffy mess. Just goes to show the disregard they have once they have their money!!

I would like to praise the site…

I would like to praise the site manager”Darrel“ on Bracewell Gardens Earby he has gone above and beyond to help my husband and I to resolve issues on site
(My husband uses a wheelchair and walking frame ) for instance extra soil to repair Turf so there are no dips in uneven turf and at the moment trying to resolve moving a electricity metre to the correct side of the house .

Mixed Reviews - Concerning

Hi Gleeson Homes,
From reviewing Trustpilot feedback, it appears that the sales team consistently delivers a very strong experience. However, several reviews suggest that once the property is handed over—or nearing completion—there can be gaps in quality checks and post‑handover support.
I wanted to ask whether Gleeson has taken any steps or introduced new measures to address this and improve the customer experience at the completion and handover stage.
Iam planning to buy a new home and im conerened with this mixed reviews.

We’re pleased that our sales teams are consistently recognised for the support they provide early on, but we also take feedback about quality checks and post handover care very seriously. We actively use customer feedback to improve our service, and our customer care teams remain in place to address any issues promptly should they arise. We are also continuously reviewing our internal processes and quality control measures at completion to ensure closer coordination between our construction and customer care teams.

For further reassurance, once your new home is fully built, an independent building inspector will inspect to ensure your new home meets the NHBC standards before handover takes place.

We appreciate that buying a new home is a big decision, and we’d always encourage prospective buyers to speak directly with our team, visit our developments, and ask any questions they may have so we can provide reassurance and clarity at every stage.

Avoid Avoid Avoid

Find new evidence of Gleeson homes being built horrifically on a weekly/monthly basis. Avoid unless you have 50k+ to rectify issues as they either don't care or don't have a clue when you contact them in attempt to resolve issues.

I appreciate that prices etc have not been advertised yet but it's very frustrating when you complete the enquiry form and this is simply ignored.
