Absolute joke of a company I have lived in a Gleeson’s home for 4 years now so I feel like I can give an accurate review. When I first moved in and did some checks on the home, there were gaping holes behind radiators, doorframes that weren’t secured, cracks in the window frames, back doors put on upside down and damaged gloss kitchen doors filled in with white paint to try and hide the error without them having to pay to replace it. A year on, my fence fell down as they had only put it in the ground a couple of inches and when building the house, they left a pile of dirt in the garden and build a fence over the top of it instead of levelling out the garden. The site manager spoke to me like I was a lesser person than he was and from speaking to my female neighbours, he was the same with all of them but had no issues with the men. My thermostat doesn’t work and still doesn’t to the day because they closed my complaint instead of doing anything about it. Barely any of the damage was fixed as no one wanted to work for them and their builders kept leaving so the assistant manager came round with a tube of caulk. Embarrassing! From the minute we walked into the office, Tina at Stoneyford Green made us feel welcome and listened to what we wanted. There has been no pushy sales just great information and advice and a strong personal touch to our journey. We walked in without an appointment as had been let down elsewhere and 24 hours later we have reserved our dream home. Tina even called us in rhe evening to congratulate us and took us through all the next steps the following day approx 3 hours spent giving us time and support. So far excellent service!!

This company cuts ever corner imaginable. From falsifying sales details, omitting vital information such as flood risk properties, possibly the worst customer care I've ever experienced in my life, and a beyond evasive, and borderline illegal practice in terms of their build quality. But don't just assume this is another disgruntled buyer, read for yourself; Google "Gleeson Homes Flood". You'll find all of the information you'll need.

While from a legal standpoint, at the time of writing there is nothing which points to this being an issue caused by Gleeson's lack of due diligence, however, there is enough here to hopefully make the reader consider the risk involved with buying a Gleeson Home. If nothing else, the evasive and disinterested nature of how they handled this situation, and many others around the country should damn this company into administration, the sooner, the better.

I recently had the pleasure of buying a Gleeson Home at Firbeck Fields and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire experience. Fron the initial consultation with Sue to the final walk through with Darren and Sue, every aspect was handled with professionalism and care.
Communication - outstanding throughout the project
Quality of work - top-notch, every detail was amazing, high quality materials, the home looks sturdy and beautiful
Time and Budget - provided a realistic schedule and delivered on time
Customer service - a friendly and approachable team, the commitment to customer satisfaction is evident, they really did make me feel valued.

Bought a gleeson home in Goldthorpe Barnsley, the house is six years old, we are the second owners of this property from new.
How are these homes classed as a B rating, when every morning when we get up, the entrance porch and downstairs WC is registering 10.2°, whilst the rest of are house is registering 18° before the heating is turned on.
The entrance porch and WC both have radiators, and we have had to add a additional electric fan heater to this area as it freezing cold.
We have had to take this extra measure so we don't have to block it off from the rest of the house.EXTRA MEASURES EXTRA COSTS.

Excellent help from Stella and Rick at Gleeson while buying my first home at Bracken Park. Guided through each step of the process properly with regular catchup calls and were very accommodating. The whole process was made simple and Completion was very smooth.

Had no issues with the completion and getting the keys and the customer service was excellent, however there has been many noticeable issues with the house. A leak under the sink causing water damage to cupboards, all light fittings just screwed in without wall plugs causing them to fall down exposing the wires from the ceiling. Carpet not correctly fitted. Damage to the bath and appliances that are integrated not correctly connected to the water supply. which is an issue as I’m unable to remove the cupboards myself. Concrete in the garage has already got large cracks. Fibre cables all shattered and needed replacing when trying to install WiFi. No major issues apart from the water leaks have been found. The house seems to have been rushed during the building faze. I would recommend getting. Gleeson home however make sure to keep an eye out for the little snags that could cause larger issues down the line. As we’ve moved around Christmas there’s no one on site to rectify and respond our issues

Bought a lovely new build with Gleeson. No issues so far. Dani, Alyson and Chris made the experience really easy and straight forward for me.

Gleeson Homes have been absolutely brilliant - Toni at Harrier Croft has helped us all along the way - I cannot praise her enough - the house is lovely and a great price as well - any problems we had before moving were fixed promptly before we moved in - so far we have had a great experience with Gleeson's and we would highly recommend them

My Gleeson experience has been exceptional from reserving my plot to moving in to my lovely new home on the St Patricks Vale site in Aspatria.
Katie, the senior sales executive, has been absolutely amazing throughout, nothing was ever too much trouble and she went above and beyond to ensure my house was ready for me to move in to on time.
Ian, the site manager, has also been really helpful, sorting out any issues timely and efficiently.
Any snags have been sorted quickly, the App is so good for logging these snags and I was contacted to arrange a suitable time to get them resolved, very efficient service.

The Gleeson team I collaborated with demonstrated exceptional performance. They promptly addressed all my inquiries and provided invaluable assistance, embodying the essence of outstanding customer service. I highly commend their efforts and encourage them to maintain their exemplary standards.

Although a lot of people said that buying houses in uk 🇬🇧 is difficult, however, Gleesons made it a lot easier regardless of the obstacles encountered. To be honest, it wasn’t an easy journey especially with my wife who was pregnant at that moment. We were hoping that we could move in before the baby will be born, however, unforeseen circumstances are part of life.
I am happy that we ( my wife and I with our baby boy) are finally settling and enjoying the winter weather with Gleason home. I would equally want to thank Louise Higgens who played a significant role in this journey from the time we got into the estate till the completion date. She is really an amazing staff. Always eager to render her assistant, calm, humble, soft spoken with a lovely smiles 😊to cheer you up whenever the frustrations started piling up.
In conclusion, I won’t hesitate to recommend Gleeson Homes to my friends who are willing to purchase their own homes.

Stella at bracken park really helped making moving into our first home alot Easier than expected, she was always in contact with us over everything and made the whole process smooth. The whole process only took 6 weeks from start to finish a lot quicker than we initially thought. We’ve only been living in our new home a few weeks and we love it. We can’t thank them all enough.

We were feeling a bit flustered prior to our options appointment tomorrow. We called in to the castledene sales office and were put at ease by Dani. Dani advised she was covering Alyson for the day but was very very knowledgable and helpful. Dani also spoke to her sales manager with a query we raised. We left feeling a lot more prepared.
