To Whom It May Concern,

My name is YoYo, recent graduate international student at LCF. I recently rented a flat from GLP, signed a 12month contract, paid 6months in advance. Received my key on 26th March 2021.

As I entered the flat, I immediately noticed it was not professionally cleaned, as I opened the cupboards and checked the fridge, there was:

- FOOD
- CUTLERY
- POTS&PANS
- BEDDING
- SEASONING BOTTLES
- CLEANING PRODUCTS

and the flat was NOT PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED.

Apart from agreed furniture should stay, the flat should be empty and professionally cleaned especially during lockdown!

I immediately sent an email to the "Head of Property Management" asking the landlord to remove everything I listed above, furiously I received an reply asking me to dispose everything I listed above!

I once again replied back demanding the list I want the landlord to remove, yet again I received an un-helpful reply from the "Head of Property Management" saying the landlord will ask a colleague of his to remove the food and the bedding, however because I did not state anything else other than the furniture to stay, everything else would stay.

I feel that both parties; Landlord and GLP staff has taken an advantage of me being a young international student whom don't know much and will let things sly because they think I am afraid to act. This unprofessionalism is beyond my reach, so I have pass this case to my solicitor.

I simply ask for the simplest common sense (THE USUAL RENTAL PROCEDURE) which is the flat needs to be empty (apart from the agreeable furniture) everything I listed above to be removed and the flat to be professionally cleaned.

I have photos to prove my statement above, this has passed to my solicitor, I want a GLP to solve this issue ASAP.

My partner and I decided to start to look for property in London, as we finally move back from Gibraltar to London and as we have lived in Bloomsbury , decided to see what is available with our budget in London. He did listen us before hand what our needs/requirements were, and when we viewed the properties, he clearly understood our needs. For example while we were viewing properties he drop one of the properties (not wasting our time) as he realized it would not have been suitable for us. Oskar's manners are very professional and he really had studied each property before hand so all our questions were answered So many times we have had agents who have replied for most of our questions: I will find out and come back later (and often, no reply at all).
