I use this company to get some money back, Absolute horrendous company Alex is nothing better than a car salesman with all the pitter patter, they messed up my Tax accounts losing me £120 a year and causing me to fill out numerous amount of forms to get my money back, not once did they ask if they can make adjustments or amendments to my Tax account, I had to have them removed as my accountants from my account so they could not do any more damage. I would not use this company.

Don't usually leave reviews but felt compelled to do so because of how positive my experience was. I filled in the online form while scrolling one evening with a little cynicism but it was something i had been too lazy to do myself. Charlie called me the next morning and i can't say enough positive things about him and the way he conducted himself from start to finish. He eased any doubts i may have had within minutes and his professionalism and personality throughout the process was superb ! I cannot recommend this company and Charlie enough.

After having seen some of the other recent reviews I can only assume they somehow manage to delete their negative trust pilot reviews. Sadly for me that was the only place I checked for reviews before using them.
It’s an awful service. They filed a tax return without my authorisation for a previous year, and filed it so badly I ended up nearly owing HMRC £1700, before managing to get it sorted out. The errors were completely on their side, as even though they had no authorisation to file for that year, they did anyway and they filed an incomplete form with completely incorrect income numbers, causing HMRC to recalculate tax owed.
When I got in touch with them about this, Gorilla tax rebated tried to tell me that they hadn’t filed anything for that year, which was a complete lie and there are many emails after they’ve said this admitting liability and that it was ‘accidentally’ filed.
They also then went on to tell me they’re tried to be in touch to sort it out, which was a couple of missed calls and a vague text - nothing at all about the actual issue (which they knew had happened despite denying it after the fact) and it was only when HMRC started sending me demand letters that I knew there was a problem. It was only after I made it very clear it was their fault and that HMRC had advised me to open a fraud case against them, that they decided they’d sort the problem out. I attempted to get in touch with the MD to escalate, who completely ignored me.
Having said that, it still isn’t completely sorted out.
After all of this, I didn’t ever receive the pension rebate owed to me.

Thankfully i randomly saw an ad on Facebook for them and didn't even realise I was entitled to get a rebate. Every step of the way Fergus Marshall was incredibly helpful and made the process very quick and easy. Highly recommend them in every way possible.
