This was the first time I have used Granthams at Retford and the experience was 5 star I have been caravanning for a lot of years and finally I have found a dealer I can trust from my first enquiry where I was offered the special offer on my yearly service £189.00 to picking my caravan up everything ran so smoothly.Communication and professionalism was shown.The service advisor Shelia is an asset to the company she was knowledgeable and very friendly nothing was to much trouble

Excellent customer service. Shelia was very positive and helpful. The caravan service and new blind fitting was carried out efficiently and the service report delivered quickly after completion of the work. An all round good experience.

The communication with Grantham Caravans has been first class, I couldn't see any tracking info on my order as the Aircon unit was delivery by pallet direct from the supplier. Amanda was extremely helpful and kept in touch keeping me informed on the delivery window. Keep up the excellent work 👍

I've been looking for a bowl for my swift bessacarr E520 2012 model tell you the truth I did realise that it had its own bowl until someone put a post on the swift bessacarr site on Facebook and am so glad they did cause it's just perfect super fast delivery 😀 will definitely be keeping this retailer site as it everything 😀.so easy to order and posted out the next day followed up by a email saying that its been dispatched Thankyou once again Grathams carvan

Great company, easy to find the part you need and very fast dispatching of the item, but what lets them down is DHL was sent an email for delivery on Friday 9th, and I checked the tracking later on Friday for them to say sorry, but we will deliver tomorrow, Saturday, that didn't happen, but at last delivered today, Monday 12th

Most of the Granthams reviews on here are about their Motorhome parts shop, which I’m sure is fine. This review is about buying a brand new campervan from them. For us it was a horrendous, anxiety inducing and costly experience. All I’ll say is If you do decide to deal with them don’t collect your new vehicle until you’ve read the below, then maybe you can avoid the hell we had to live through:

Do not under any circumstances agree to collect your new vehicle until you have personally been online to witness that your vehicle is indeed registered and taxed in the UK. We didn’t. They said it was road legal, it wasn’t. Not registered and not taxed, we drove around with meaningless insurance in an illegal vehicle for a whole month, before the DVLA let us know.

Grantham's blamed the DVLA, and yes the DVLA had made a clerical error, but the responsibility to deliver a ‘road ready’ vehicle sits with the dealer. We lost hours and days of our lives trying to sort the mess out. Something that shouldn’t have been on us to do. We had a holiday booked, and time was now against us. We consequently lost our ferry bookings and European holiday with friends. It took nearly another month to finally sort out.

Both the DVLA and a traffic police friend told us under no circumstances could we drive anywhere in what we now referred to as ‘The expensive ornament’ on our drive. Grantham’s on the other hand said “it’s fine ignore the DVLA, they are wrong”.

I dread to think what might of happened if we’d listened to the nice people at Grantham’s. So buyer beware, and know before you go.

First Class service

Granthams have just fitted a Thule canopy to our caravan. I spent days trying to find a company to supply and fit. Some friends of ours that are Granthams customers suggested trying them.
A couple of phone calls later with Sheila and the canopy was paid for and ordered.
When it came to the day of fitting the team did a fantastic neat job. They gave me a full demonstration of the canopy as well.
Really happy with the service we got

They were the only people that were selling my part, at a good price. They were on time. I will be using them again.

Great service, fast delivery

Your service is great but DHL are appalling with their communication and reliability

Booked our van in for some work to be done three months ahead with it clearly set out on the quote what needed to be done. Arranged a date and paid the invoice two months ahead of the date. Checked the week before that everything was still ok for the work. Dropped off the van on a Saturday to be told Monday morning that they couldn't do the work. Drove over 600 miles in total without any compensation given for time and fuel. Terrible dealer.
