Despatch was a bit delayed but customer services quickly sorted it all out. When the plants arrived they were fantastic - bigger and better than expected! So well packed that they were in perfect condition. As a gardener it’s the quality of the plants that counts above all else. Well pleased.

Over the moon with our Red Robin pleached tree’s, they where delivered in perfect condition, your staff where very courteous, even gave us advise on how to plant them (as it was my first time planting large tree’s).

We are over the moon with the service/delivery/quality of grasslands. Will definitely be recommending and return with our next planting project.

Only went to the cafe , food was lovely and good value for money, staff were very nice and food arrived within 10 mins and was hot.

Not overly impressed with my first experience of this nursery. The plant I ordered arrived in a terrible state from being without water for several days. Even with a good soak (over 24 hours) lost at least half the leaves and flower buds. With some TLC it has at least survived, but Grasslands offer of store credit seems a bit miserly. I will be unlikely to use it as I'd rather not risk ordering another plant from them that may arrive close to death!

I have had a very similar experience to another customer who bought root ball portuguese laurels. I bought 20 delivered in December. Planted 2 days after receiving them in prepared trench using masses of compost and bagged topsoil, and then soil conditioner and mulch. all treated the same and 8 started showing signs of distress in Feb/march. increased watering to the 8 affected and spoke to grasslands. 3 are totally dead and the other 5 are very compromised relative the the other 12 which are doing fantastic. Same poor response, as noted by another customer, from Claire blaming our siting of the plants and our care. my opinion is the rootballs have been cut too close and this has compromised those plants. We won't be going back to them and its far more about their appaling customer service rather than the actual failure of the plants.

Am a particular customer , always concerned about buying plants on line , driven mad by box blight , but refusing to give up on it , I still love a bit of box topiary , i ordered four replacements buxus , they turned up , healthy , good shape , very well packed , cannot recommend enough , no doubt i will be back for more !

I was so impressed with the plant I had delivered ,I bought a fatsia japonica for a shaded area. It was a fabulous size and foliage was really healthy and had great colouring.It was packaged really carefully ,i would recommend buying from here and to top it off it was a really reasonably priced.
