Speedy delivery and excellent packaging…
Speedy delivery and excellent packaging but a narrow choice of products online from Manchester.
Sadly anything that is frozen comes partially or wholly defrosted despite the multiple frozen packs :(
So I avoid frozen products :(

Worst customer service I have ever seen!!! Very poor quality products, total dissapointment. Avoid this market as much as you can.

Very bad when it comes to returns!
Very bad when it comes to returns!
I had to return a book and I contacted them as there were no instructions on their website other than that they accept returns and to email them for the process.
I emailed them and they advised that I need to arrange the courier and they gave me the address. All good so far.
After I sent the parcel, I checked a few days later and noticed that the driver made 3 attempts, but the parcel couldn’t be delivered.
I emailed Greek Market if the driver needs to go to a different place and they replied back to me saying that I didn’t confirm back to them that I had sent the parcel and so they couldn’t monitor the delivery.
I said, that they never advised that I need to let them know when the parcel is posted and I asked if the warehouse is open on specific hours.
They replied back saying the warehouse is open 9am-2pm and so the deliveries failed because it was after these hours. They never told me on the initial email that they are open during specific hour so I can make the necessary arrangements with the courier!
No matter how many times I said that when I asked on the return process they never told me that I need to send them the tracking nor the opening hours of the warehouse, they kept repeating that I should have told them! This is insane that they expected me to know these things and that they never took responsibility for the fact that they failed to advise me on these two requirements before I sent the parcel!
As 3 failed attempts were made, the courier’s policy it to send the parcel back to me. Greek Market wouldn’t send me a prepaid label this time due to their lack of proper instructions and they kept insisting that I need to pay for the postage again if I would like a refund.
After the multiple emails we exchanged and needing a final answer before I reported this to Trading Standards, they said that the driver went to the HGV/pallet loading shutter rather than the signposted Deliveries/Returns entrance for small parcels. I asked them what proof they have and they never replied back to me!
On the one hand they say that they close at 2pm and because the driver arrived after this hour the parcel couldn’t be delivered and on the other hand they say the delivery failed because the driver didn’t go to the right entrance. Doesn’t make sense!
I kept the book as I couldn’t accept paying again to send it back for their errors and for the fact that they don’t take accountability for their mistakes!

Change of mind returns are the customer’s responsibility. The item must be returned to our warehouse successfully within the return window, although Greek Market allowed far longer in this case. No return received means no refund. Goodwill has ended and this matter is closed.

If your order with frozen products delayed, do not expect a refund
Those people working for customer service are a joke. They have managed to send my order, with some frozen products, the day that one of the worst storms hit the UK. The order was supposed to be delivered the next day, sent by royal mail, and today 3 days after still waiting my order. The worst think is that when I have email them that I want a refund because those products will be no good for consumption any more, they told me that because they put a couple of ice packs inside, will be good to consume. Really? I think you need food standard agency to your shop to have a little inspection. Still waiting to sort out a refund with them.

Greek Market is sorry your Royal Mail delivery has been delayed.
Your order was scheduled for the delivery day you selected at checkout, which unfortunately coincided with Storm Goretti and widespread weather warnings. Greek Market processed the order for dispatch to meet the selected day; however, severe weather can disrupt carrier's network and delivery timings.
On frozen/chilled items: a delivery delay does not automatically mean food is unsafe. These parcels are packed in insulated gel-pack packaging and the correct way to assess this is the condition on arrival, not assumptions in advance. For that reason, Greek Market cannot process a refund request while a parcel is still in transit and before the contents can be checked.
When the parcel arrives, please open immediately and photograph the gel packs and products as received (a temperature reading if available). If items have fully defrosted and are warm, they should not be consumed. Submit the order number and photos via the website Help & Support contact form and Greek Market will review and resolve any items where there is objective evidence of a cold-chain breach.
