Very good service from the team.
GreenThumb is good business to deal and working on how to improve their service.
I just closed my account after 5+ years as a customer and yes, the recent changes to regional offices has made an outstanding issued difficult to resolve.
I had a lawn refresh at great expense a year ago and the lawn developed a lot of patches and weeds. A weed treatment was applied (FOC) but the patches were never addressed despite a couple of operative visits.
I have received the normal treatments but the lawn looks worse than it did before I used this service.
I found it difficult to speak to a person and the avenue of Livechat provided no comfort as I had to still chase the work (with no response).
A shame as the service used to be good.
I will revert to purchasing a lawn pack and apply the treatment myself.

Dave and Lee came to aerate and scarify the lawn for us yesterday. It was the first time we've used Green Thumb and they did a great job - the guys were really efficient, pleasant and very helpful ... our lawn needs a lot of work! They were happy to advise on what we should do next and they definitely knew what they were talking about ..
Since GreenThumb has been taken over by a company in St. Asaph, Wales, the personal service is poor! For example, I can no longer contact anyone by telephone; in spite of having to listen to irritating automated keypad messages, none of which are helpful! This lack of 'phone support for what I regard as a personalised customer service is a significant issue of my complaint and although I have been a customer for several years, I no longer feel valued. I used to pay my account over the 'phone (to Jackie in the office) and it was a very simple and pleasant procedure but alas this service appears to have been shut down. I have no complaints about the operatives, who do a good job but naturally they have to follow new directives.

David Gleeson came on time, treated my hard devices with weedkiller and cleaner, left the premises tidy. As this is the first time I have used this hard surface treatments by Green Thumb I am waiting to see the results. Have used this firm for lawn care in the past. Found all staff to be considerate and knowledgeable.

Lewis & Bill did a great job scarifying the lawn and getting it Spring ready. The Green Thumb team are always knowlegeable, friendly and professional - offering tips or suggestions to help the lawn flourish. For example this time Lewis & Bill suggested mowing the lawn at a different angle occasionally ie. horizontally not vertically - just to encourage aeration and growth. Great service & great team!

I have been a customer of this company for many years, but since the franchise has been changed it's awful. My lawn should have been scarified and aerated in March/ April, but no appointment was made. I have tried emailing and phoning on many occasions, but with no response. I am now seriously considering cancelling my direct debit of £30.75 per month.
The only good point is Adrian, who looked after my lawn over the years and can't do enough for you.

Had my first visit today, a lovely gentleman called Steve, he arrived during the time was given. Showed me the quality of my garden. He was very informative and polite. Gave my garden the treatment he suggested, also gave me advice how to aftercare. Amazing!!! Thank you!!

Daylight robbery - after 12 months on the basic plan (and £168 poorer) my lawn has never looked worse. Their quarterly treatments seem to take a total of about 20 minutes of their time, and have left the lawn full of weeds and moss and bare patches. On one visit for scarifying last autumn (which I hadn’t requested and wasn’t made clear from their automated emails that this was an additional £100) they not only ripped out newly seeded grass that I’d done myself - one would expect a professional to notice fresh seedlings - but also damaged the garden gate knocking it off its hinges. They offered to reseed in the spring but have since ignored my emails completely despite repeated follow ups. Extremely poor customer service. I should note this is in Bristol. Perhaps other areas or those paying for a higher level of service receive better treatment.

David Gleeson was personable, very friendly and knowledgeable. He went through all the options after examining our lawns and gave us recommendations for the best way to treat them. We have confidence he will do a good job.

Quite separately to my ongoing concerns about the administrative side of GreenThumb. Lewis Peeke and Rob Spocchia did an excellent job on my lawn yesterday. If I stay with GreenThumb and not move to a competitor it will be because of these guys.

The easy treatments they can cope with. Anything more involved, such as scarifying, seems to be a problem. Missed my scarifying window with no advanced notification. When I realised the window was closing there was no response from the online support when I enquired, so requested cancellation. No response. When I called, after an acknowledgement of the issue, no one called back to rectify. The service then disappeared altogether from the portal. Despite my request to cancel, the service reappeared with a totally unacceptable time of the year for scarifying. Again getting no response online and now very long wait on the phone. A case of buyer beware.

I set up a video call with Jane Thompson at GreenThumb to get an estimate for a enervation and continuing lawn care, but unfortunately she failed to attend the call. Very disappointing start for a potential new customer.

Agreed the contract and then l have not heard a thing! No date, no communication in the mean time our lawn is getting longer and the drive is looking dreadful!

These guys have looked after my lawn for years now and it's always been an easy pleasant experience dealing with the guys who do the work, always ready with advice and info on how to get the best out of my lawn
Recently I had an issue with them not being able to scarify my lawn as I have too many steps to carry at 75kg machine down so I cancelled the dd and wrote to explain why. Since then they have been excellent in discussing other options and solutions and at no point did I feel it was all about the money. We have now come to an agreement and something that works so have restarted my payments
I would highly recommend
