Had a hard surface clean done for my elderly mum on her block pavement.. no difference what so ever… my mum even asked if it has been done!! Waste of £300

Staff always very pleasant and helpful.
The workload is done without any issues. Products spread over our lawn to my satisfaction and advised when to walk on the lawn.
Leave everything very tidy.
Good job completed.

Our hard surface areas were treated for the third time this morning by Steve Vicat from Swindon ( Cheltenham Branch) . Again Steve did a thorough job and completed the treatment successfully. These treatments have shown very good results. Steve always engages with us and makes sure our dogs are kept safe.

I have been a Greenthumb customer for over 20 years, and have always been really satisfied with the service, and my lawn aways looked great.
Ownership of Greenthumb changed last year, as did the staff, the effectivness of treatment, and the appearance of my lawn started to deteriorate, with weeds starting to grow in numbers.
After the first treatment in Spring this year, the weeds did not die, but continued to multiply.
I was informed of a second treatment to take place with, an 18% price increase.
Subsequently, on19th of June 08.13am a Greenthumb van arrived outside our house on the road. The driver was on his mobile phone.
6 minutes later he reversed the van onto our drive. He came to the door, and I complained about the amount of weed growth I had not experienced before. He stated the lawn needed rotivated. I said "Don't you mean scarified?" "Er, yeah that's right." He replied. He didn't appear to be particularly interested, and I was concerned he didn't know the difference.
He returned into his van and was on his mobile again for the next 10 minutes.
I took the dog for a walk.
CCTV shows he stayed in the van another 11 minutes and then got out and started spreading the lawn feed granules with a hand held crank speader. He zig- zagged quickly across the lawns, totally missing one out, and returned to the van in 3 minutes. Picking up a back pack sprayer, which I assume was weed killer, again he was on the weed- ridden lawns for 4 minutes only, then returned to the van, got in and then drove off at 8.53am. All captured on CCTV
He was on site just over 40 mins, applying 2 treatments in only 7 mins.
Our (approx) 450 sq yards of lawns usually took 45-60 mins to apply 2 treatments over the past 20 years. As confirmed by another lawn treatment expert.
I complained twice over the next 2 weeks, closed my account, and asked the area manager to contact me, which he never has.
At the beginning of August I forwarded them the CCTV videos, which they acknowledged and apologised for lack of contact and cancelled the bill, and said the area manager would be in further contact.
I am still waiting. Greenthumb are not the company they used to be. No doubt this review will receive their auto-reply about contacting their customer services, which I have already done on numerous occasions. Nearly another 4 weeks on and still no further contact.

Had my previous treatment during the hot weather and had a hosepipe ban, my lawn was doing well compared to others around, As soon as the rain came. I was amazed how the lawn had recovered. It was green and really thick. People commented that it looked like a carpet. I’m extremely pleased with the Green Thumb treatments. The gentleman who did the treatment also commented on how great the lawn looked and complimented me, Thank you Green Thumb.

I’ve just cancelled the service after a year. An aeration and scarification was carried out, probably at the wrong time given the weather, and the lawn was then treated in the heatwave. The lawn (or what’s left of it ) is now a disaster. There are some patches of green growing grass… the rest appears dead and I can’t see it recovering. I had a reasonable lawn before I signed up for this. :-(

The company are always arriving early and on time as requested. Our lawns look really healthy and green.
The staff are always pleasant ,efficient and work hard.

Excellent service. My grass is looking amazing after a few months. However I’d like a professional cut and edge up, and as they advertise, I asked green thumb. But was bluntly told they don’t offer it and have no intention to offer it. But the company offers it? Other than that it’s been great.
