My father died and still trying to cancel the contract. They want a death certificate, powers of attorney, probate which is not needed.
Dealing with every other company including banks has been so easy. No way would I recommend this company. Bunch of idiots.

We've had Greenthumb coming to our property for 12 years and we've honestly not had a single issue. This last treatment has had zero effects and instead of removing the weeds they're actually flurrishing so I'd be amazed if any weed treatment was even applied. The front garden i know at least the fertiliser was applied as there was a pile of it left on our newly power washed drive that took ages to sweep up. (If I could upload photos of the weeds and fertiliser pile I would do) I've since cancelled my future treatment from Green Thumb and will be treating my grass myself as I know it will be done right

We have used Green Thumb for a number of years now to look after our ageing lawn. Dean Clayton is our usual operative. Dean is always pleasant to deal with and gives our lawn a full inspection on every visit. Dean also explains what the different treatments are and whether any additional treatments could be beneficial. Dean is an asset to Green Thumb.

Really good service if you have problems they will help and recommend what you have to do

Extremely disappointed with the service from the GreenThumb Weald branch. We have been loyal, multi-service customers for years, but the NutraGreen 2 treatment carried out yesterday (Tuesday 28th July) was a complete failure of professional standards. The operative rushed and completed our entire front, back, and side lawns in around five minutes.Our home CCTV footage reveals shocking corner-cutting:• Total failure to perform standard parallel/overlapping passes, leaving untreated gaps across the front and back lawns.• Pushing the granular spreader along our domestic paving instead of the grass on the side lawn.• Hand-throwing raw handfuls of fertilizer directly onto the side grass. Because no rain is forecast for the foreseeable future, these highly concentrated clumps are sitting completely inert on dry grass, creating a severe and ticking risk of localized chemical scorching and zebra striping once the weather changes.The Weald branch’s handling of my complaint has been completely unacceptable. They ignored my emails and tried to push an inspection back to September when the next treatment would be due. When I insisted on urgency, they booked an automated "Escalated Service Call" for tomorrow (Thursday 30th July) but expect me to wait in all day without providing an appointment time, a name, or confirmation that a manager is attending. To make matters worse, before 8:00 AM this morning, I received an inappropriate call on my personal phone from the exact operative whose work is being questioned, attempting to debate the issue.I refuse to debate clear video evidence with the technician involved. I have formally escalated this log to Head Office Customer Relations (customerrelations@) and our invoice is officially on hold. I expect senior corporate management to intervene, ensure a qualified supervisor attends tomorrow with full authority to take responsibility, and provide a written guarantee that GreenThumb will pay for full professional turf restoration following the next major rainfall if any striping, scorching or other damage occurs to our lawns due to this treatment.

Glyn from the Sheffield / Rotherham branch attended my parents address to treat their lawn. Both of my parents have Alzheimer's so when my Dad called me, I ended up talking to Glyn. He had clearly picked up that there are issues so was happy to talk to me. We agreed that days treatment and he proposed a weed killer for the front pebbles which I was very keen for so as to save me yet another job. We further agreed an autumn treatment. Mum and Dad have always been proud of their garden so it seems only right to do what I can to maintain that but with a little help from Green Thumb. Glyn was brilliant. He explained everything to me so that my Dad could hear too and simply seemed like a nice guy doing his job. With two potentially vulnerable parents, it means the absolute world to my family and I to know that we can trust the people around them. Thanks Glyn.

David Gleeson arrived today for our priliminary disucssion. He was absolutely amazing! I know nothing about gardening he explained everything and made it so easy to understand with no sales pressure. Great customer service who made me feel at ease!

after a problem with one member of staff, Stafford area manager Chris Davies stepped in and totally sorted my lawn single handed. Cannot praise the guy enough, hard working, polite and did what he said he would, cant reccomend him enough.

Tom our regular operative always goes the extra mile to help us out. Always happy to give advice and tips to keep our lawn in great condition even in the unusually hot weather we are having. He’s a credit to GreenThumb and would thoroughly recommend.

Initial contact by phone was good, after laying new turf on my small garden. I was concerned that a perfect looking lawn seemed to have been ripped at first cut due to being so long after the 4 weeks and the roots remaining damp.
A person came said it looked like fungal disease but decided after a WhatsApp share with colleagues that it wasnt. He looked at a spot and said it looked like an animal had died - it was some topsoil for raised beds that had been dropped .. not a dead animal .
Put 2 treatments as per plan and left. Then an hour later a bill was invited for £102 - I got in touch to say I was not made aware of this charge and I would pay but would cease my plan .
Contact was made to say that it was a mistake and the invoice was incorrect and not due at all. I was offered a second opinion by a manager .
I informed them by phone on the days I was available .. and they sent an arranged date for someone to come on one of the two a week that I was not at home working but in the office . I let them come cos wanted an opinion - I left a detailed note with pictures in an envelope on my door- received a time confirmation for the same person who came the first time to come on the day. Not sure what the point of that was. Feel it was a waste of time

David came today to do a mid term weed killer treatment he’d suggested. I was pleased about this as a few small weeds were starting to grow. Since the initial treatments he did my lawn has been transformed. I now have full growth of green healthy grass and I’m delighted. He always gives helpful advice on maintaining the lawn. So pleased I engaged Green Thumb and David.

Contacted three providers — including the GreenThumb gang — to quote for tackling our block‑paved shared courtyard (14 properties!) plus the front drives. After hearing the other providers’ plans, which ranged from “jet‑wash it into oblivion” to “nuke it with chemicals,” GreenThumb’s approach felt like a breath of fresh, non‑toxic air.

Luke 1 arrived, tape measure in hand, like a horticultural superhero — to measure the area.
Straightforward, clear, and no nonsense. The products they use actually 'care' about the block paving rather than bullying it into submission. We were sold.

Once we said yes, the GreenThumb portal kicked into action and kept us fully in the loop. Dates, confirmations, what to expect — all delivered with the kind of smooth efficiency that makes you think, “Ah, this is how grown‑ups do things.”

Then Luke 2 appeared — exactly when he said he would, which already felt like a miracle. Absolute legend. Friendly, professional, and went above and beyond without even blinking. He did everything agreed, left everything tidy, and handed over follow‑up info that made updating all 14 residents blissfully easy.

We’re genuinely delighted, and now we’re all standing around like excited kittens waiting to see the block paving transform, after 20+ years of zero TLC.
