GRIDSERVE Electric Highway Avis 

Stopped at Wetherby services in the early hours as was convenient and they have loads of chargers. How much per kWh? Think this is the most expensive I've experienced and will be planning journey's to miss these in future.

I tend to plan my away from home charging around cheaper providers (Tesla or off peak Instavolt). However, today I was forced to use Gridserve. It must've taken over ten minutes just to update the app and the login via the two factor verification. I only needed fifty miles of charge and I think logging in factored for half the time. Thinking about it, I should have just tapped my card.
Once connected, everything worked perfectly.

Not good charger only Woking at 10kw

Stopped at GRIDSERVE Wellington Westpark 26 near Taunton, on a wet Saturday morning with 30 miles reserve and 200 miles to get to Chelmsford Essex. All bays were empty luckily but each time I tried to charge it failed. It was pouring with rain by the time I had moved around all six charging bays. I was totally frustrated and anxious. On the final attempt charging started and I got a full load.
I can’t hope to understand what went wrong the first 5 times and the worry of getting stranded is ever present. Just wish public charging was easy and reliable.

Easy to operate. Quite expensive though

Easy to use. Plug in, sign in or just pay, so simple, what more can I say!

I had a problem with the App. Ronald at Gridserve resolved the problem completely to my satisfaction
He was polite, pleasant and knowledgeable and did what he said he would do.

These services are great for EVs - so many fast chargers. Facilities are good - unusual - exercise bikes. Great service and coffee - friendly and helpful service from James

What a fabulous place to have a break, recharge yourself and charge your car.

Costa coffee, little shop and plenty of seating and little screens for kids to entertain themselves for a while too.

Sat here at 7am on a Friday morning appreciating the view as sun coming up and the two people (Pawel and Murron) working are full of personality and genuine customer service.

I witnessed a worker being trapped inside a lift. Now there are no operational lifts for customers with disabilities. Appalling.

Only four charges working took me half an hour to charge it was so slow

Plenty of chargers available, clearly signed, easy to access and adjacent good facilities.

Plenty of chargers so no wait. Quick and seamless using the app.

Only use GRIDSERVE intermittently as day to day home charging is fine, but with family at various extremities of the country, have to charge away when on the motorway network. I have been an EV user since March 2026 but have yet to have success with the GridServe App - always resort to re-plugging in and using contactless card which is frustrating. Then as a 62 year old female post breast cancer surgery, the cables are very big and heavy to manoeuvre - nothing like the ease of a petrol pump. All that said charging is fast and efficient once connected.

Easy to use price wise could do with being a bit lower as there is plenty of competition

Having been using chargers for 4 years now the reliability and ease of use of public chargers has improved immeasurably. Plug in, enter chargers code on the app and all good.

Easy to charge using the GRIDSERVE app, plenty of chargers to choose from, easy to follow instructions on the charger and clear pricing on the screen. If you charge on the motorway regularly, a subscription makes sense. None of the chargers were out of action so the service is reliable and predictable.

Connectivity issues to start with, but got there in the end. Plain sailing after that.
