Grounded Footwear Avis 

REPORT TO FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION/ ALERT YOUR BANK OR CREDIT COMPANY, LIKE I PAID THROUGH PAYPAL.
So, I ordered two pair in mid December. I knew better. So $135.00 later, mid JAN 1924, they wont refund because I lost my tracking number.WHERE does it say in the ad?
They have my Name, address, order number, and date purchased. They have my return which I paid $16. A true scam….saw BTW, exact/identical shoes on TEMU for $8.00 a pair. Everything comes from China.

I ordered a pair of shoes from grounded footwear but they were too small. I tried to reach them to return for a larger size but couldn’t reach anyone to exchange . This went on for many days to no avail.

Yesterday, I placed an order for just one pair (not four!) of footwear & was so inundated with the high pressure sales ad-ons to my order that I had to keep clicking on ‘no thanks’ to the point that it made me so mad 😡 that I cancelled my order & promptly asked for a refund. I received an email letting me know I would hear back re: my refund in 1-2 business days. Well, that was a lie because today I get an email letting me know my order had shipped & that I was supposed to be happy as a clam! NOT! I let their spokesperson know I was not a happy camper & would be posting the negative review earned on Trustpilot where I have been told I have a following of over 1,200 followers to which I humbly say To God Be The Glory & many thanks to Him, Trustpilot, & all of my followers! Grade earned by Grounded Footwear today:

THEY ARE FINE AS A HOUSE SHOE, BUT I LIVE ON A FARM AND WANTED A COMFORTABLE SHOE FOR GARDENING, THESE WON'T BE IT! TOO MUCH UNEVEN GRAVEL OUT THERE, AND REVIEWS SAID THEY WEREN'T GOOD ON SHARP GROUND. I WON'T BE TRYING TO RETURN THEM AFTER HEARING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S TROUBLE DOING THAT. ALSO, I WAS DISTRIBED THAT I DIDN'T RECEIVE AN INVOICE E-MAIL LIKE ALL OTHER MAIL ORDER COMPANIES DO. DEFINITELY PIE-IN-ITHE SKY ADVERTISING!!

Recieved the 2 pairs of shoes; DIDN'T FIT. As previous people said I was charged for the intial shipping & I had to pay for return shipping. AVOID this company. Better options. Should have read ALL the reviews.

I love my shoes. I got the white/yellow and they are so light so you don't feel like you're not wearing shoes at all. I get many compliments
on them. I wouldn't go hiking in them but they are great for shopping, taking a walk, or just worrying you might step on something and cut your foot. Just a casual yet comfy shoe!

I paid 62.99 plus shipping for 79.98 and I got the Same exact shoe from AMAZON For $30.00. You are Ripping people OFF!!

I've had my shoes for 18 days and they are tearing. I contacted them and all they could do was give me was a 10% refund of what i paid. They can not replace a used item that is no longer in it's original condition. I will try Hike footwear

Prices all over the board….DID NOT FIT! Customer service terrible! $20.00, in shipping and returning
and I have nothing. Their price was $69, Amazon was $21. Rep laughed and claimed difference was because of shipping and handling. Amazon would have shipped and returned for free.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

I ordered a pair of grounded boots today. after paying with a credit card, I didn't receive an email notifying me of my order or an authorization number. I emailed them with the email provided on their site and my email came back stating there was no such email.
I called the customer service number which told me to leave a message and they will return my call. Hmmm.

I absolutely love these shoes. I honestly thought I'd hate them. I am so glad I bought them. They are so comfortable. I do not have any foot pain. they feel like I am walking on a cloud. I will write a more detailed review after a month or two to see if I notice any other significant changes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

ABLE FOR SENDING IT. IN THE MEAN TIME , I AM STUCK IN THE MIDDLE AND HAVE BEEN TOLD I WILL HAVE TO PAY THE SHIPPING FEES ON SENDING IT BACK.I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL THEM ON LINE AND NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH GROUNDED FOOTWEAR AGAIN. I WILL TELL EVERYONE I MEET ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

I have read some bad reviews on Grounded Footwear. Some of what is said about the quality MAY be true, as they do not appear to be a robust manufacture. Time will tell with the shoes I have. Keep this in mind: they market them as minimalist shoes and that is EXACTLY what they are. If you are expecting something different, then purchase another shoe of this type elsewhere. You won’t find anything better in this category of shoe. Remember what it is you are purchasing. It’s not a hiking shoe!

I ordered the size I always wear. They were too small. I needed a half size larger. Perhaps this is because I have wide feet. I contacted customer support via email and the technician, Mike, was very responsive. After a few emails clarifying everything, he said I should keep the shoes I have and donate them - and I will do that for a family member or friend - and he will send a new pair, 1/2 size larger, free of charge.

I feel like the bottom of my feet are receiving a gentle massage as I walk. They are very comfortable, like I am walking without shoes but with all the protection I need on the soles of my feet.

When won’t I wear them?
- on a Rocky Mountain trail - unless I was 25 years-old again and my feet and joints could withstand that
- in cold weather, ice and snow (I live in New England)
- walking on the dirt road I live on
- probably not in rainy weather, but maybe I would if it was a warm day and I wasn’t concerned about getting wet (they surely will dry out quickly)

There may be other places or times I wouldn’t wear them. I DO wear them in the house all the time (sublime comfort), doing light yard work, walking around town and shopping, and at the office.

I suggest you seriously consider where you will be using them and purchase accordingly. For me, they have been an amazing relief for these 60 year-old active feet.

Grounded footwear is not for people with flat feet or fallen arches or for walking on gravel roads or trails. It was a testing hike and was the most uncomfortable walk. I felt every sharp rock I stepped on.

I ordered a pair of shoes from Grounded Footwear in early October, and the laced had not been encapsulated in the black end as one lace was. I thought, "This will be easy with an honest company, but maybe I am not dealing with an honest company. They offered to send me a new pair, and I agreed. The next email was telling me that they were taking 17% off the $79.99 shoes, and I could keep the damaged pair. That is not what was offered or what I agreed to on Order #226700.

these shoes smell horrible. the smell doesn't go away. major petrochemicals. the return process isn't cool at all. you will pay shipping both ways. very costly just to try on a pair of shoes and have to return them. To them, it doesn't matter why you are returning them, it is your cost. It does not state this when you purchase them. sketchy.

I read a couple of reviews from other sites that stated these were good shoes. However, the following morning I read more unbiased reviews. I emailed to ask for a refund. Although my order showed as “processing”, as it was less than 12 hours after purchasing them, they told me they had already shipped. As someone else mentioned, after several emails, with many attempts to lower the price, I got nowhere. I called because their website did not show as shipped either. I was told the shoes had already left the warehouse. I would receive an email soon with the tracking number. I could return them after emailing them AGAIN to tell them I want to return them, and I would get a refund when they arrived back to them. I wish Amazon Prime shipped as quickly as this company. 🙄
