I purchased doing CBT, Guildord Publishing, 2nd Edition by David Tolin, ISBN 978-1-4625-5412-6 on PDF. That is exactly what I want so I can upload it to Speechify! The book store price for a limited time eBook was about $50.00. Print edition to purchase about $60 to as high as $100. I paid $31.99 for this. The PDF is unrestricted for printing. Thank You. You guys Rock!
I took a screenshot of the book I went to purchase from Gumliz today. I don't usually take screenshots pre-purchase, but the book was selling for about half the price of other retailers and I didn't feel confident in a company I had never heard of. The listing said that the book I wanted was a Used-Like New paperback to be shipped from Murietta, CA. And when I typed in my billing address, I had to select whether my shipping address was the same, so I was looking forward to a used copy arriving within the next two weeks.
After purchase, I was sent a link to DOWNLOAD the book. I emailed them and told them I was only interested in a hard copy as advertised, not in a digital book and I would not download it if they would give a refund.
To their credit, a rep responded the same day and wrote that their site "specializes exclusively in digital eBooks" and gave me a 50% refund stating that they value transparency in their products. However, if I could upload the screenshot here, you would see that there is no indication that this is an eBook and, in fact, it gives every indication that a physical copy will be mailed.
One star is a gift. This site is a scam, the lack of support is almost laughable, if I weren't still needing to get my textbook. Do not buy from this company.
I made a purchase and didn't have any issues whatsoever. Customer service communicated with me immediately and multiple times until I received the PDF of the book purchased at a fantastic price! Indeed I would use this seller again.
This site is a well documented scam. Wish I had Googled them first. Ordered three textbooks marketed as "paperback-like new condition" with "free shipping." only received links which I never clicked on. Emailed them x6 with no response. SCAM! BEWARE!!
Scam website!! I paid for a calculus math ebook for the semester. Two months in and the book disappeared. The purchase claims it never expires yet I couldn’t even get through the semester. I reached out six times! There has been no response. They claim to respond in 12 hours but it has been over a week, and I’ve reached out multiple times. Scam site!! Do not purchase from here!!
