My dog has been trying Piemonte which she has been enjoying. Thought the kibble size might be too big but it is flat so happily crunches her way through them. She’s also enjoying the duck treats. Delivery is very quick and efficient.

After trying for 6 years to find a dog food that works for my dog with severe allergies I cannot praise this company enough! We have been using a mix of wet and dry food for 3 months and in that time have not had one single tummy upset that is the longest period since she was 8 weeks old. She is looking amazing, has lots more energy and is settled and happy. The customer service is excellent and products arrive very quickly. Don’t hesitate give it a try!

The food is great my dog loves it he can’t have normal meat so this is what the vet said get because of the variety of different meat and it’s working. He used to have ear allergies he still gets it but he doesn’t have to have monthly injections now it’s a lot better than it was having this new meat. And the service is really good it comes so quick packaged excellent can’t hold them a little bit pricey but you pay for what you get.

This dog food has changed my life. My dog has pancreatitis and as a consequence has to have a low fat diet. He is also allergic to chicken and turkey so finding single protein dog food low in fat such as kangaroo and ostrich has been a game changer. I mix this with vegetables that I make myself and so far we have had no flare ups. I can't rate this food highly enough. Its delivered next day. I use the subscription service so I never run out. Brilliant, thank you happy dog I now have a very Happy Dog 😁

The quality and freshness is always good.

Currently moving our latest puppy from Puppy small kibble onto Africa (Ostrich)
she lives both and never every left any in her bowl.
The small treats in various flavours are a well liked snack too.

My dogs have the tinned single protein food . Two of my dogs are fussy eaters and has been an excellent way to introduce new flavours to them ; and they have loved them all so far . I have continued to buy these for the past year or so . Happy Dog always have offers so that you can try new things risk free . Always delivered in quick time .

Ordered from here lots now. Every time items arrive the next day. My dogs on a vet prescribed diet and she hated the hills she was originally put on so we looked around and found this food. The happy dog intestinal low fat is great, it's actually lower in fat than the hills and our very fussy dog loves it. She waits for every meal and she has never done this before. Company sent so much information before we ordered so we could check with the vet that it was safe and suitable for her diet and they said it was perfectly fine. So far so good, 4 bags down and she still loves her mealtimes, will keep ordering

Changed to use this companies Renal Dog food after my dogs were very ill at the advice of my vet in April 2026, been using for nearly 6 months now. My dogs love it, delivery is always within the time frame given. Many thanks for great service.

I discovered Happy Dog after battling for 8 months with my rescue French bulldog's delicate stomach. I used the offer of 2 free cans (only paying postage costs) to trial the product. I was happy with the result and then ordered a tray of mixed flavours to try. At this point I also had some very useful help from Hugo at Happy Dog re portion sizes. As it turned out, my boy is completely intolerant of chicken and not so good with anything else that has feathers. We are delighted to have found a supplier of a good selection of single protein foods and the results achieved have been fantastic. No more runny, yellow messes. His favourite is Norway - he loves fish !!!

Order arrived promptly however 1 of the bags (12kg) out of 2 and some of the kibble was loose in the box.
The delivery box had started to deteriorate and it looks as if the bag had been dragged across a floor and had ripped. Packaging just no good for 2 large bags of food.
Reported to Happy Dog and got no response. Chased again and this time a response as clearly we were not pleased.
Arranged to send a new bag, arrived today, and defunct bag being collected in a couple of days.
No offer of any compensation, something small would gave been gratefully received. We have been a customer for 4 years.

Most importantly this is a great product (we use Africa and Australia) and our husky has considerably improved skin and coat and even her sensitive tummy is very happy with these foods.
We like the ordering process and speed of delivery as well as the option to have treats etc. Slightly less keen on the price (we do appreciate that this is premium food).

Good choice of flavours to choose from.
My Basenji devours the wet food as soon as the bowl is put down for him.
Loves the unusual flavours, Ostrich, buffalo, horse, goat& kangaroo.

We switched to 'Happy Dog' after discovering one of our Golden Retreivers was alergic to chicken. We used the novel protein range as part of the discovery, eliminating any chicken derivatives from wet and dry food. Although we don't use the dry food we use tins as a mix with another brand. The food is on the pricey side but there are frequent promotions which make it more affordable. Whenever we've had questions or the occasional issue using promotions on the website, Hugo has been brilliant in getting things sorted immediately. I thoroughly recommend Happy Dog if you're looking for a single protein solution. The product is good and the service is great.
