Make Health Insurance Work for YOU

Toxic organisation resulting in rogue elements within the staffing ranks. Really feel for the respectful and delightful staff numbers who get caught up in this ‘not for profit’ theatre. Extensive amount of external event sponsorships is questionable. Sub-standard products with revolving staff levels resulting in very poor customer outcomes. With every health membership make sure to have an accountant and lawyer on standby and that the fund works for you…

DO NOT USE THEM look else where

DO NOT USE THEM look else where. In 4 years they have increased their inflated prices to an extra 1200 a year from my original price in 2021. They try and get you to use their pharmacies. It's cheaper at chemist warehouse. They don't honour there pay outs, make you jump through so many loop holes to get paid out. Every time you apply for a payout they need a letter from the doctor. High fees and no customer service. Forget their advertising that they are for there for the members. They are their to fill their pockets. I imagine 5 stars is from their employees. Read what real customers say. It's all 1 star. They will fleece you.

Health Partners are by far the best…

Health Partners are by far the best health fund I have dealt with. I have been a client for 2 years and find them responsive and knowledgeable, plus the benefits they pay are superior to the 3 others I have been a member of. While the premiums are too high for my liking, they are cheaper than the big named funds and the benefits returned are superior. I highly recommend.

Avoid this company, they are appauling

Avoid this company. First kept confusing us with another client and refused to pay for eye surgery. Then because of this confusion, we almost had our surgery cancelled. Then we had our doctor abuse us because he thought we were trying to get out of paying him. Now state they will not pay for surgery that needs to be done again, so that we will be out of pocket $3000-00. They are appauling.

Bad experience

The customer service did not put the optical test appointment on the schedule after communicating over the phone,
I have travelled to Goodwood store and there was no appointment in their record, it is very disappointing. They should offer a compensation for this futile trip.

Friendly and helpful

I have had a few opportunities to use my policy and the processes to claim are so simple. My interactions with staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Lack of due care during covid

Have been a Health Partners member since before it was Health Partners, when membership and services were only available to government employees, yes a long time.

I had the misfortune of chipping a tooth today, and as my usual private dentist was on holidays, I made an appointment at the Pirie St branch in the city
As even basic covid safety measures have now been dropped by short sighted governments, state and federal, I did expect to possibly see other patients not wearing face masks, as it turned out though, there were two other patients there when I arrived, both wearing masks, later arrivals were not. What shocked me the most though was that no staff members at all were masked, not even the dentist and assistant.

Covid is not over and I would not expect to be in a position of possibly catching it in a so called health care environment.

When I questioned the dentist about this, he matter of fact stated it is no longer mandated, this view is highly unsatisfactory, even prior to covid I have never had an experience where dentists and their assistants were unmasked when treating patients.
In this case I insisted that they mask up.
When I initially rang to make the appointment, I asked what the current covid safety protocols are, the customer service person stated that all patients are screened over the phone and on arrival for covid or like symptoms and that masks are encouraged but cannot be enforced.

There was no indication that staff were encouraging patients to wear masks or any physical signs present to inform them of this either, not a good look if masks were indeed encouraged (which I highly doubt from my observations!) when Health Partners staff blissfully ignored doing it themselves!

I have no issue with the dental treatment provided or with the staff generally but this stance has obviously come from management and it's not good enough in a so called health setting where vulnerable at risk people are potentially exposed to covid and other possible diseases

TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT

Had a total knee replacement and it has been a seemless experience with Health Partners. Haven't had to chase anything just all done with no effort. Heath Partners after surgery arranged My heath navigator which was amazing. The support from them has been a God sent. Thank you for all your support 🙏

Overdue for an eastern suburbs dental clinic

A very good health fund however well overdue for a convenient dental clinic to service members in the eastern & hills regions. They have an optical centre at Hyde Park however no dental clinic. This would be an ideal dental clinic location to service these regions. A hassle to head to the city just for a medical appointment and a ‘water bag’ trip to head to Morphett Vale in the Deep South. I have raised this important issue with Health Partners management on several occasions however it just keeps falling on deaf ears !

Consistently supportive.

Brilliant. Always wonderful customer service. When using your health insurance, it's not uncommon to be in quite a vulnerable state and Health Partners have consistently gone out of their way to help us in our times of need. Customers for life.
