What a sticky mess. Totally unprofessional
The order contained 2 jam jars. They were put into the cardboard box without any protection and 1 of them broke. All my other goods are covered in jam and as it must have happened early during the dispatch all the packaging of the other goods are soaked through and extremely sticky. I have tried Heimat customer services, who are not answering the phone and although the recorded message says that you can leave a message, this is not possible. I am extremely dissapointed.

Dear Customer, we sincerely apologize for this unpleasant experience. This should not have happened and we will work on fixing it. Here is how:
(1) Any jars have to be wrapped properly to minimize potential issues. The fact it wasn't in your case is a clear mistake by the warehouse team and we will address it.
(2) We may not have an Amazon-style call centre and we don't use chatbots or AI-assistants because we believe a personal interaction is worth so much more. However, we aim to respond to each inquiry within max. 12 hours, usually it's within 4 hours. If this wasn't the case here, then we will definitively have to improve - and we will!
