Helcim is absolutely TERRIBLE. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. I created my account, went through the signup process no problem. Was very easy to create and send invoices, request deposits, etc. and after receiving my VERY FIRST deposit, they put my account under review and request a bunch of information about the customer. I did exactly that, and then they closed my account with no reason given. They refunded my customers and I was left to scramble to request another deposit and create dozens of invoices all over again. I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY 0 STARS IF I COULD

Helcim is a wonderful company to partner with. It adds value to my businesses. I know that they genuinely care about me and my business and they provide many services that most companies charge for. For example, they offer a free online store for selling products or services, free payment links, and free scheduling for my customers to pick-up items at my store. Other companies charge astronomical amounts for each item. Plus, I know they are always looking for ways to improve and they listen to my input. I can always ask for help with anything, and somebody will answer my question thoroughly, honestly, and kindly. Most currently, AJ has been assisting me and checking in frequently. He is always extremely polite even when I repeatedly don't recognize his number and push him through to voicemail. All of the people who I have talked to at Helcim have been kind to me regardless of my attitude. I appreciate their level of professionalism immensely. What more could one want from a finance company? *High-value, fair-price, ethical, customer-focused AND more!

Helcim is the best merchant services and card processing company I found by far. Their rates were the best, and their customer service is instant and actually helpful (from real people like AJ!). I ended up trying the smart terminal, found out it wasn’t suitable for my business, and now have the card reader. Both are very user friendly from both ends. Every part of this experience that I didn’t think could be enjoyable has been. I am so happy with my decision to choose Helcim and I’d do it again every time.

We called to use them only for credit card payments.
We asked comprehensive questions and provided all necessary documentation. As soon as they took the first payment, they asked for reems of other documentation regarding a small private company. More importantly, it has been 7 days, and we have not been paid.

Every question we had was answered promptly and thoroughly, making the onboarding process smooth and stress-free. Their support/sales staff Amy Kinnon went above and beyond to ensure we understood every step, which is invaluable for a small business with limited resources.

Jocelyn Yet made it pleasent , she was very knowledgable and helpfull in teaching me the system and showing me diffrent avenues , she was very delightfull to learn from

AJ was friendly and helpful, clearly providing an overview of the Helcim features and answering our questions. He was very knowledgeable about the products and ensured we had all the information we needed, adjusting his information based on our level of experience.

This has been a really great experience right from the start. The team has been super helpful, friendly, and personable. During the purchase process the representative was wonderful to deal with and went out of his way to work with my tricky schedule, which was incredibly appreciated. I have since been dealing with a customer service representative who has also been extremely helpful in answering my questions and checking in to let me know she is around and available if I need anything.

The machine it self is amazing. It’s beautiful, very user friendly, with helpful how to videos that helped me get setup and it has been very reliable out in the field as well. I use it at markets all over the place where I’m inside and outside with no promise of wifi connection, so, having something easy to use that would be reliable in all sorts of scenarios was a must, and this machine delivers! All in all an awesome experience that I would do again in a heartbeat.

Besides the ultra-low and transparent merchant processing fees, I have found Helcim's setup and customer service to be excellent. I have experience with another company which I could not get a person live on the phone at all. Helcim has useful videos, I got call backs from a real person with about 10 minutes the three times I needed them, and I had a very useful setup call.

Had a great onboarding online meeting with AJ who answered all my questions about using Helcim to accept payments for my business and get money in my bank account faster!

Jocelyn was very knowledgeable and was able to address and assist with my specific questions immediately. My experience with her and Helcim has been nothing but positive.

I feel that Helcim has been a great tool for me to use since I have started my small business. When I spoke with the merchant specialist Ana, she was very helpful and wanted to know if there was anything that Helcim could offer that would make my job easier.

I found Helcim to be great for sending invoices and payment links. I also got an onboarding call where they help me setup everything which is great.

However my account randomly got shut down, right after I processed a $45 USD payment.

Im very lucky it was only $45 because if it was $1000-$3000 invoice like I usually do, they'd have froze me out and kept that money like PayPal does.

also sucks having to look for a new payment processor as Square in Canada doesnt allow USD, and Stripe is even worse with random bans.

For that reason Im giving a One Star

I am not tech savvy at all, but the way Amy guided me through setting up my new payment device made it easy and i must say simple. she was patient, answered my questions, and reassured me there is support available should I need help with my payment device

AJ explained all the basic important parts of my terminal so it would be easy to set up and take payments. He was great.

We had the pleasure of working with AJ to set up our Helcim account and transition with Xero, and the experience was outstanding. AJ demonstrated deep technical knowledge, clear communication, and a proactive approach throughout the entire process.
