I had an outstanding experience with Hello Divorce. Going into the process, I expected stress, confusion, and a lot of back-and-forth — but that’s not what happened at all. Everything was organized, clear, and incredibly smooth from start to finish.
A huge thank you to Charlene Daniel and Aisa Alegrado. They were professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. Every question I had was answered thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. They made what could have been an overwhelming life event feel manageable and structured.
What really stood out was how efficient and user-friendly everything was. The steps were clearly explained, the platform was easy to navigate, and I always felt like I knew exactly what was happening next. On top of that, the team was extremely detail-oriented, making sure nothing was missed and that everything was handled correctly.

Hello Divorce made this an easy, painless process.
My divorce was simple and amicable, we didn't want to waste our money on attorneys that would be expensive and possibly turn our friendly divorce into a nasty one. Hello Divorce was just what we needed. They walked us though the process, gave us everything we needed to provide the courts including all the documents, provided any additional expertise whenever we needed it. Courtney, our coordinator, could not have been more helpful, patient with my endless questions, and responsive to our needs.

Hello, Divorce...
I used Hello Divorce for consultations and to hire a private judge. The consultations were handle by Melissa and the private judge process was handled by Hannah. Both did a phenomenal job. The private judge was the way to go, too. I never stepped foot in a court room and the process was super fast. Thanks, y'all!

Dishonest Sales Process
During the process they pushed a sale, and put in writing from the sales team that we would not need additional products. Once we purchased the initial package it became clear we would need more. It was clear that the team members we spoke with after were trying to help, but customer service and sales were not helpful and extremely rude. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Our records reflect a significant period of no communication following the initial purchase. At no point does Hello Divorce guarantee that no additional optional services may be recommended, as this depends on the specifics of each case and is outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
Refund requests are subject to clearly stated time limits. In this situation, the request was made well outside the refund window and after the divorce had already been completed through another provider. Under those circumstances, a refund is not available.
Hello Divorce did not refuse service based on the use of another provider. Rather, once a divorce has already been completed elsewhere, there is no remaining service for us to deliver.
We stand by our policies and the information provided during the sales and onboarding process.

Highly recommend Hello Divorce
I delayed getting divorced because I worried about the process involved.
It was a simple divorce, my ex husband and I agreed how we were going to divide our assets ahead of time, but the forms were kind of confusing to complete.
After many calls to Hello Divorce I decided to use their services and I am so glad I did.

Even when there's no disagreements, divorce is hard! I tried the DIY route and it was so overwhelming. The money spent on having the hellodivorce team file for us and the ease of filling out the forms saved my emotional health and in the long run, lots of money. I was actually recommended to use this service from a divorce lawyer after she learned that we didn't have any conflict.

Easiest divorce ever. I spent less than $3500.00. I had attorneys at my fingertips and my divorce was finalized in less than 11 months. Whenever I ever needed help, someone responded within 24 hrs. I’d recommend Hello Divorce to anyone who’s looking for an inexpensive, fast and efficient process.

Great people with a repetitive inefficient process flow
The representatives were all kind, empathetic, and professional.
The portal was sluggish and repetitive, and the process flow was cumbersome.
* The forms should have autofill. I had to reenter the basic information on every form. It should have been entered once and prepopulated on the other documents.
* The SLA for representative to respond to questions is two business days. This slowed the process too much to make the platform usable for me. Confirming the information in the initial notice took a month because one question would generate another question, which had another two-day wait.

At the same time, our portal is still the most comprehensive divorce software available today, covering every required form, step, and state-specific rule, which can make it feel heavier than tools that only handle a small slice of the process.
That said, we'd like to streamline the process even more, which is why our team is already rebuilding core sections of the software for 2026, including true autofill, better logic, and a smoother pace.
You also mentioned the response times. While our 2-business-day SLA is standard for legal support, it’s not ideal when questions pile up. My experience was with friendly staff and easy forms. I had to wait longer than I anticipated and it is still not completed. I did not feel like my support person was knowledgeable about my state and it seems that we missed something and will need to submit more forms. I am disappointed.

Overall a decent experience
I liked all of the concise info on the different steps. The response time was very very slow and I didn't always feel like my questions & concerns were addressed. I felt supported overall and would just have appreciated a little more personal responses.

Hello Divorce referred us to Lauren Nonnemaker as a mediator. 4 months and $3,000 later she is still unresponsive. No refunds from Hello Divorce nor the mediator. Just a big scam! STAY AWAY!!
