The meals are tasty and I appreciate the convenience, however every week there is something wrong. Either with the ingredients or the delivery, or the instructions or not including the right recipe, or no recipes at all. I don’t think I would recommend your service to others.

Apart from the meat for tonight’s…
Apart from the meat for tonight’s dinner I am really happy with the meals. Unfortunately when preparing tonight’s meal (Teriyaki ginger beef - No.2) there were two big pieces of fat with no meat attached and also several pieces of meat that were 3x the size of the rest. It appeared whoever packed the meat was having a bad day! Unfortunately, not the usual high quality I’ve come to expect from Hello Fresh. I’m hoping it won’t happen again.

Good choice of meals
Great variety of meals and we're enjoying the quick meals at the moment. I would encourage you to look at the calories, sugar and sodium levels of each recipe as they can be very high. Also the salad part of the meals are a bit boring, I wouldn't call spinach and radish a salad? Can't say I love all the plastic satchets either. The convenience of having all your meals planned and delivered is definitely worth it!

Proportions of ingredients are often way off the mark. For example 2 small potatoes for two people can barely make enough chips for 1.
When getting double protein, theres often not enough seasoning to spread across.

Many vegetables are either tiny or in poor condition, there is so much non recyclable waste and there are more and more menu items that cost extra.
It's convenient and worth it at 40% off only. My Food Bag is far better at the above.

Delivery and menu…
So far we were meant to have had 3 boxes. The 1st was delivered at our neighbour, rather than at ours. 3rd one hasn't arrived at all. After a long hassle on phone, the agent told us it will be reimbursed. Still waiting. But it was inconvenient to scramble around for dinner at 6pm at night.
It is difficult to get a problem resolved. The bod is useless and just keep on saying, "Can't answer your query."
Quality of food ok but very carbohydrate heavy.

Loving the variety and flavours...
We are loving the variety of flavours and ingredients.
We eat more fresh and non-processed foods now.
Delivery has always been fantastic except for the one courier who ignored the instructions written on the box.
If I had to fault anything, it would be that some of the items are short dated or the fresh veges dont always last the week without some form of degradation.

The worst experience of my life. I would strongly suggest using any other provider; everything from the order that I was sent without notification until a text on the day to the cancellation which they wont accept the chat although it says the box is on us and was on the 11th 7 days before delivery the quality of the food fogotten items

Really disappointing experience
Really disappointing experience with HelloFresh. My deliveries were paused and somehow the delivery was unpaused without me realising. Meals were then selected that I wouldn’t have chosen myself, and honestly, looking at the meals that were selected, none of them are even things I would want.
I contacted support as soon as I realised what had happened, but because the box was already in transit there was apparently nothing they could do. I’m also not going to be home until Friday, and the solution was basically to find someone else to collect it.

Misleading
I reactivated my account solely to browse the meal options and was unaware that doing so would automatically process and charge an order. I was shocked to receive a delivery containing products I would never have selected myself.
Although this may be technically legal, it is, in my opinion, an unethical business practice. Customers should be given a clear warning that reactivating an account will immediately result in an order being placed and charged. Taking payment without making this sufficiently clear is misleading and should not be allowed.

“HelloFresh Referral Rewards – Promises Not Honored, Cannot Be Trusted”
Update from hellofresh’s responce to resolve: I have not received a request from them like they have said to contact me to resolve the matter. Call me like you said to resolve as im not chasing your company ! Terrible service and ownership!!!!
Very disappointing experience with HelloFresh.
I used their referral vouchers, which offered a $70 credit for each person referred who signed up and ordered. I had at least two successful referrals, so I was expecting $140 in credit. Its a scam don't bother referring!
I have now contacted HelloFresh around 6 times by phone, as well as several times through online chat. Each time I was told they would look into it, but no one has followed up or resolved the issue.
It’s extremely frustrating that customers are encouraged to refer friends and help build their business, yet the promised referral credit has not been honoured.
It’s a real shame because I actually liked the food and would of continued, but after this experience I’ve lost trust in the company and their customer service. Very disappointing. They need to do better!

Potatoes......hello fresh... potato varieties high in sugar are not made for Chips/roasting...please dont.... received these in my order 3.8.26.
Steak was dreadful.. could not identify the cut of beef... salad...mmm lettuce and radish... garlicy beans needed pre cooking and finishing off fried with garlic and a few fried cashews to elevate the flavour.. onions and mustard sauce?? Seems very amateurish.. parsley swapped for mint on another dinner... just not right...
Was excited to be able to come home and have an easy cook delicious dinner.
Tried it for 2 week's. Cancelled.

I got given a free trail
I signed up for the free trial because I wanted to try the service before committing to a subscription. After signing up, I cancelled my subscription, but the website still indicated that my trial box would be sent. I intended to re-subscribe if I was satisfied with the product. Unfortunately, the box was never sent, and I was then informed that I was no longer eligible for the free trial. This experience has been very disappointing, and I will not be using this service in the future.
