I would definitely recommend…

I would definitely recommend Highlanders GB. Not only did i get a great deal, but they are also incredibly easy to work with and made the entire process simple and fast. Their efficiency and straight forward approach made the experience hassle-free.

Great customer service

This is by far the best company I have dealt with. Great customer service that exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend this company when buying your car. 10/10

Amazing service

The whole process from inquiry to the after sale was just amazing. The members of staff were very friendly and helpful. Called a couple of days after the purchase and got someone to come check the minor issue with the vehicle and I had someone at my location on the same day.

Ecstatic professional Satisfaction …

I have given a five star review because I could not find a six 😂. This service here was unbelievably professional and succinct. They helped me calculate my finance and advised me on when the best time for me to buy a new car was considering what I wanted and made me wonder if they were real. Some other car dealers would happily take my car and give me whatever but they gave me options which I considered very professional. My experience is nothing short of ECSTATIC. Thanks for your hospitality and professional prowess guys.

Utterly hopeless

Utterly hopeless. Contacted via Autotrader, no response. Called, no answer. Called again - this time answered but rude and just told me to email. Emailed as requested - what do you know, no response. If this is the service when you're trying to buy a car from them, imagine how slack they'll be if you need any after-sale support? Will buy elsewhere, thanks for nothing

Unfortunately, we experienced an IT issue that disrupted our working arrangements, which caused delays in getting back to you. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Regarding the vehicle, it sold quite quickly as it was a rare spec and example. We completely understand your disappointment, and we hope you will give us the opportunity to source a vehicle for you in the future.

Customer service extremely rude obnoxious and terrible the worst I’ve ever experienced.

They demanded I paid £1,000 deposit lucky I only paid £250. They then said it needed something fixed on the car that they have only just realised… and couldn’t tell me when the car would be ready and IF it would be. They then said they won’t refund my deposit because of I don’t want to do business with dishonest and unreliable company who always answer the phone and say eachother are with another customer because they LACK BASIC SALES EXPERIENCE. They are rude dismissive and quite completely appalling.

They sell faulty cars and keep people’s money because they have no empathy or understanding what it takes to be a good company . DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE STUPID PEOPLE! WHO put good reviews on by themself !!! If you notice there Google reviews have been deleted as they was terrible

We are writing to address the concerns you raised in your review. Since this matter has been made public, we would like to provide clarity and ensure prospective customers are fully informed of the facts.

Initial Contact and Agreement:
You contacted us via phone to purchase a lovely 2018 Range Rover Velar. After several conversations and video calls, you decided to proceed with the purchase.

Deposit and Refund Terms:
Prior to finalizing the purchase, we clearly communicated (via email and telephone) that the deposit was non-refundable should you change your mind without physically viewing the car. However, the deposit was fully refundable if you did not like the car for any reason once you had viewed it.

Trade-In Agreement:
The sale was conditional on the trade-in of your 2017 Discovery Sport, for which a price was agreed.

Deposit and Confirmation:
You left the deposit voluntarily between 7-8 pm on Saturday night, and we promptly sent an invoice confirming receipt of the deposit.

Vehicle Inspection and Repairs:
As part of our standard procedure, your vehicle underwent a full inspection, MOT, and service, which typically takes 3-5 working days to complete. During the inspection, we discovered an intermittent fault with the rear camera. We immediately informed you and ordered a replacement part, which was expected to arrive and be fully installed before your scheduled collection.

Change in Plans:
On Tuesday, you informed us that you had found a buyer for your current vehicle, who was willing to offer you more money, and you decided to sell it immediately. While we understand this was your decision, it put you in a difficult situation without a vehicle, which was not due to any fault of ours—especially considering you have three small children. We worked with you to fast-track the process and committed to having the car ready for collection by Friday. However, you later informed us that you were traveling to Dubai on Friday and needed the car on Thursday. Unfortunately, we could not meet this timeline, as the necessary part was only expected to arrive on Thursday, meaning the earliest possible collection would be on Friday.

Communication:
You made several attempts in a short period to reach the salesperson who assisted you. However, he was attending to another customer at the time, and you were informed that he would return your call once he became available. It seems there was some impatience on your part, as you requested to speak with him immediately. As a busy dealership, we always strive to return calls within the hour, and the salesperson made every effort to keep you updated as soon as he was able to.

Given the above, you chose to cancel the sale without opting to view the vehicle. We regret this decision, but as per the terms of our agreement, the deposit is non-refundable. This is especially true considering that we had already begun processing your order, were still working within the agreed-upon timelines, and had turned down other serious buyers for the vehicle.

At no point were we rude, and we made every effort to meet your expectations and accommodate your requests. We sincerely hope this response provides the necessary clarification and that potential customers can see the full picture.

Stay well clear of this car dealership

Stay well clear of this car dealership.
I should have gone with my gut feeling when approaching the forecourt on viewing the vehicle and not spent £33k on a car from a premises like this. Anyone will understand if they visit this premises.
I purchased a 2018 Range Rover Sport at the end of October 2024 and had 6 months warranty on the vehicle. I have had an issue with the key fob failing after a couple of months so after going to a local garage, a auto locksmith and then to Land Rover in Northampton it has been confirmed that the key fob had been super glued together as the case was cracked and broken, this has in turn damaged the PCB within the fob. Eye watering bill received to fix this. Highlanders claim this is not to do with them and I must have superglued it myself... First comical response from their "technical team" and Vivian.
NOW the dangerous fault with the vehicle.
When myself and my wife viewed the Range Rover, it looked good, nice condition and first impressions of it was high, then the salesman opened the drivers door and were greeted with a very loud grinding sound from the automatic deployable side steps, the "salesman" informed us that this fault, including a couple of other minor faults would be sorted once the vehicle was sold and prior to collection. We therefore had a wait of a further week to collect the car, we travelled for an hour and a half to get to the garage, did not need finance so could have completed the purchase on the day and saved a further trip there, however these faults needed sorting. 5 months down the line and on a few occasions the sound, although no where near as bad, had started to return until the deployable hinge finally failed in a big way at the weekend and has broken clean away from the car also leaving the side step unattached at the front of the vehicle and unsafe to drive. If I was moving at any sort of speed it is unknown as to what damage or injury this could have caused. Highlanders response to this is that this fault was not present when we viewed or when we collected the vehicle, (blatant lie from them) and because I have previously wrote a review of true accounts of issues with previous faults with both the vehicle and the service from these people that shows them in a bad light, they will not cover it even as a good will gesture. This response from Vivian is comical and feels like school playground level of intelligence and maturity. However after previous dealings with this company regarding this vehicle it is to no surprise to receive this type of response.
I am now taking legal action against this company for monies spent to correct issues that were present on viewing and claimed to be correctly corrected by Highlanders.
Not to mention that they do not seem to have sent the V5 slip to DVLA to instruct of new ownership and logbook. A common issue it would seem as other clients of theirs have had the same issue from other reviews on this page.
AGAIN, ALL, STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS GARAGE. ARTHUR DAILY, FRANK BUTCHER LEVEL DEALERSHIP and if you do see the car of your dreams in their dealership, do not waste any time or money on their warranty, save it for the issues your likely to have..

Very poor sales service from…

Very poor sales service from Highlanders. Over a period of 3 weeks I phoned twice to try and go through the process of buying a car from them. I was just waiting on someone to come back to me with finance figures. Heard absolutely nothing back from them. Phoned today to chase it and the van has been sold. A lost customer and will stay away from them in the future.

Purchased my new car!!

Easy to do business with. Had a few concerns with the car i wanted to purchase. Gursh put my mind at ease on everything. Swayed me to take the plunge and buy the Mercedes glc ....purchased the car within a week! Have recommended this place to a friend.

A fantastic experience

A fantastic experience, after speaking to Gursh on the phone without seeing the car, I bought it! He gave me that much confidence it was the right option I gave a deposit on the phone.
When we got to Highlanders, the great experience continued and I’m pleased to be driving home in my new purchase today.

Highly recommended, amazing job by Gursh and the team at Highlanders.
