Saga Holidays Avis 

So Far, today's visit is a bloody disaster. If I was told by the Rep that I would be spending 3 to 4 hrs on a round journey for an 1 1/2 hour possible visit to sorento remembering that this is the Sornto visit and the hotel is nowhere near Sotento
that meant that the scheduled frr time, half was taken up by just getting there. i wouldnot have been on this bus. Can't wait to write this up on trip advisor for the whole holiday.
Let's talk about the Hotel, nice on the outside, but 2 bars, only 1 member of staff doing both bars. There was a fixed meal menu, no one could provide info on what the menu was (and it wasn't that good). Breakfast, three coach loads, 1 coffee machine, the toaster was a sandwich maker, though decent bacon even if it was cold.

Karen McGuire the tour manager went above and beyond. A great group of diverse people all of course Saga and a large age range. Considering our flights were cancelled due to the air traffic control problems - a lot of friendships were forged whilst Saga got us to our destination for the tour. Food expenses and compensation were provided before we left for home. And of course rebooked flights, transport and accommodation were provided. A great tour despite the start.

We were on the Jewels of Spain tour. It started with the flight being cancelled! Saga were magnificent in finding alternative flights, accommodation and taxi transfers for the whole party. Special mention for Nicole who coordinated it at HQ. Amazing job under stressful circumstances. Once in Spain we were under the care of the amazing Karen Maguire who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic holiday despite the stressful start. We will definitely look at travelling with Saga again in the future.

What an amazing trip made better by our great guide Bhanu. Great knowledge and enthusiasm. Great friends made and a once in a lifetime experience

Our trip was the Golden triangle with Ranthambhore national park, India. Our guide Bhanu was very knowledgeable, and kept us updated on what we were going to do. He would also come around in the hotel during breakfast and evening meal to check if everything and everyone was okay. Our coach driver Mukesh and his assistant Manpreet were also friendly and helpful, helping everyone getting on and off the coach, and always had sanitiser when we got back to the coach. There was always bottled water available, Manpreet would come around 2 or 3 times every trip. The hotels we stayed in were very good. It was a great experience visiting all the places during the tour. Our guide for the Ranthambore park was great, very informative, we did see a leopard and a bear along with deers etc. The only issue we had was with our Virgin Atlantic flight, we paid to select our seats but were put to sit elsewhere, not happy about that. We will be using Saga again for holidays, the private transfers are great. Thank you Saga … Mark and Carol Williams

My experience was so amazing it was so much more than I had imagined. I went on the Southern sights and sounds Deep South tour.

It was for a special birthday. I had many worries and anxieties as I was taking the trip alone having disabilities and not having travelled for circa 25yrs!

Once I met the Tour guide Steve and soon after our Tour driver Jan worries and anxieties very soon evaporated.

It became clear throughout the tour both had great knowledge of the areas and places we visited. Absolutely every question I had was answered fully and promptly. Nothing was too much trouble. They were professional, empathetic, and great fun!

I could not have asked for more. So much so that I intend to tour in the future if I can co -ordinate with a tour they are doing . I will do so.

I am also recommending Saga / Titan to every one I speak to . I have been so impressed with the service from pick up at my front door to drop off home. It has been such a well oiled operation .

Finally Jan’s actual driving was immense we travelled 1934 miles quite a lot of the time I engaged myself in ‘colouring’ and not once did I go out the lines!

Many thanks to everyone involved behind the scenes as well. On my actual birthday a surprise a waited me in the hotel room. Then there was cards & gifts from the Tour group . Just so much attention to detail.

Saga / Titan you have the formula keep using it …..

We bought saga travel insurance for our trip to Turkey. We are sat in hospital and saga have just told them they can't find my policy. Just spent all of spending money on a treatment.

We have been here just 2 days and now it has been ruined by Saga.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Sent them a message and was told I could expect a reply later.

The Saga continues. I have to call the claims department, I am in a foreign country and can't call anyone. I asked the lady to forward all the documents they need for me to claims. She said she can't do that, its a different department. Are you serious. You can't e mail a part of Saga !

Explained that they have made a mistake and now I need them to step up and reimburse me. Sorry I can't send an e mail ?

First time travelling with Saga,not my last. I have just returned from Southern Sights and Sounds tour taking in Atlanta, Nashville,Memphis,New Orleans,etc.
What a incredible tour. Thank you to our Tour Guide Steve Pritchard superb deep knowledge,and also our driver Jan.Dream come true.Thank You.

It was a lovely crowd and only being 19 of us, we got to know each other quite well. Our guide manager Stephen Pritchard was brilliant. Done a excellent job of making sure we were where we meant to be and what time. The coach driver Jan was also very good. Her driving was impeccable and she also had the patience of a saint, especially when some of the travellers kept her waiting.
A very good tour. Tiring but enjoyable

Just booked a holiday to Canada and Alaska was helped by a very helpful young lady ,who talked me through all the details of the holiday step by step so i understood everything.She was most polite as well.

Thanks Saga for the superb way in which you handled our repatriation to the UK after being rescued from the wildfires on Brac. Ajla and Tracey worked tirelessly to find us accommodation, arrange transport, recover our luggage, get us on flights back to the UK, fast track us through security and arrange transport home. Ajla was a star and kept our spirits up after this traumatic event. Tracey phoned us the next day to check our welfare and offer counselling if necessary. We were immediately reimbursed for the lost days of our holiday. Thanks also go to the brave firefighters on Brac and the people of Postera who looked after us in the Catholic Centre. Well done Saga!

We have just booked a SAGA holiday to Lake Garda for next year. Harley , the young man who assisted us with our booking was excellent.He answered all our queries and we were very satisfied with the service. We are already excited looking forward to our SAGA holiday.

Very helpful and understanding. Sound advice and clear communication

The staff and everyone working person was brilliant. But some of the other passengers were not. I walk with a stick and the able bodied people were rushing to overtake whilst walking to the coach for a trip. One trip was so bad that only search i had was right at the back I had to walk sideways and getting off, of course I was the last there was no one there to help me down the massive step.the driver never moved out of his seat.if they are going to use independent companies surely that must state some rules

By the end of the conversation all booked and sorted.

Tour made even better by the tour manager Steve Pritchard who was knowledgeable, informative, witty and generally helpful. He made the whole tour enjoyable and his recommendations were always good.
