HomeSnartEnergy wrote a poor review…
Just recently I wrote a poor review about HomeSmart Energy. Subsequent to that I have had a completely new system installed by Chris (who was just brilliant) and very knowledgeable. Then I was contacted by Jacob who was also terrific in helping me to better understand the system and how best to manage it. I can now report that my view of HSE has changed completely due to both these guys and give HSE 5 Stars. Thank you both.

Reconnecting to new internet provider
A very helpful team sorted me out on reconnecting to our new internet provider which I couldn’t have done without their help. We are now a year into our solar panels and they are excellent and the whole process of installation last year went extremely well and smoothly.

So impressed with everything
From placing the order to install, they delivered in all areas, what they said they would do they did. The electrician on time, smart tidy cables, the scaffolding guys - polite, clean and tidy. The solar guys gave great advice on configuration, and completed everything without fuss, nice and tidy. Everyone in HS energy from accounts to tech questions I had about the app have been marvellous. My experience has been first class - and already enjoying benefits of clean renewable energy - even in this horrid Feb cloudy weather can see generation.

At Last
It is just over a year since I had a Zappi EV charger installed to coincide with the delivery of a new plug in hybrid. It is fair to say, the charger has not worked as it should since day one. I keep getting fobbed off with all sorts of reasons/excuses. That all changed with the intervention of Leo and Kai from Home Smart. How refreshing to receive responses to e-mails and to deal with people who know what they are talking about. Within no time at all, the issue had been identified and a resolution recommended - Phew!

Fantastic level of customer support
The level of service from Home Smart Energy has been awesome. Spoken at length to Leo from very helpful technical service team. I purchased 14 solar panels and 3 batteries. System is working really well but the level of post sales support has been so good e.g. resetting the system so batteries charge at certain times to benefit from better overnight tariffs with Octopus energy (who are also very good). I would definitely recommend Home Smart Energy and will be using them to install charging equipment for when we get an EV.

I’ve had their equipment since solar panels installed
I’ve had their equipment since solar panels erected June 23. They were very efficient, both on installation and thereafter with after service of very high quality.
Leo and Kai gave me succinct and exact online help enabling me to fix my ( self created !) problem and reconnect the information within the App.

Excellent service
Was having trouble with my battery taking energy from the grid instead of the solar panels. The service team were great in helping me sort out the issue. In the end it was very simple but I could not have done it without the service team who were patient explained everything clearly. Thank you very much for your help.

Once again 5 star service from the team…
Once again 5 star service from the team at home Smart spoke to Kai regarding my battery storage with his excellent support and guidance. I got an additional battery which will make all the difference.
I also bought a battery storage cabinet for my batteries which looks great.The Home Smart engineer who installed the cabinet was very professional and explained a lot about the system which answered my questions. Im sorry I cant remember his name but he was first class.Once again thanks to the tean at Home Smart Energy.

This is a review of HomeSmart Energy
This is a review of HomeSmart Energy, also trading as SmartFoam Ltd. I placed an order for foam removal from loft and paid 25% of the total amount quoted at time of placing the order. The company and I both signed their contract. The week before the work was due to commence, I received the final invoice for the remaining balance. Perhaps a bit premature?!! They never turned up. I tried phoning the company several times, but the line would just go dead. I tried emailing them with little more success. Over a week later I got a call to say that they wouldn't be doing the work as "it wouldn't be cost effective for them"! Not sure how they feel about customers who don't honour their side of a contract? I was told I would get my deposit returned immediately. It eventually landed in my account 2 weeks after the work was scheduled to start. They even had the arrogance to think they hadn't really done anything wrong. Perhaps in future they should consider completing the jobs they have signed contracts to complete and learn from any poor quoting. They weren't even the cheapest quote, but I had the mistaken confidence in their ability to do the job competently. If you're considering asking them to remove foam, I shouldn't allow them to waste your time. There are plenty of more reliable companies out there. Not impressed!

Really professional job
From the moment Gary and Andie turned up, they were totally committed to complete the job as quickly as possible. When they cleaned up afterwards, and there was a lot of debris, they left the place spotless. Never had workmen clean up like these guys. Highly recommend them

Outstanding workmanship and customer service
From our initial meeting with Gary, for a quote for the removal of closed cell insulation, we were reassured that they would be able to remove this and that there should be minimal problems. Jamie and Andy arrived on day one, polite and friendly they worked tirelessly, ensuring minimal disruption. They updated us daily on progress. They cleaned up regularly, and on completion removed all waste and left the house as they found it. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Thank you.
