Absolutely loved the hungry horse today smothered stake sizzler for me stake sub for the hubby and salmon stake sizzler for the mother. It was absolutely delicious compliments to the chef, well done, everything was perfect x

Staff so friendly and welcoming on arrival to Sherwood manor.
Food is fresh and good value 😋 for money.
Yes you have a car park limit timing but asking at the bar you can extend it.
Staff come over to check everything is good. Always friendly and willing to serve and help. Polly was so helpful this morning. Thank you everything at Sherwood manor.

At the Brunel Hungry horse in Bedminster Bristol
At the Brunel Hungry horse in Bedminster Bristol tonight and I was charged for another persons drink after ordering my own and then still made to pay for my drink. Bar was disorganised, kept making mistakes and none of my drinks were made right. Would not go again.

Now the summer is here we always head…
Now the summer is here we always head to the outdoor seating areas at the Manor for a nice cool pint in the sun. We’ve been eying up the breakfast and pudding options in the menu and will be sure to check that out soon

Best value for food.
While in Scarborough,we checked where to eat that Monday. It was mixed grill night so me and the wife pushed the boat out, and we weren't disappointed. A big plate to have wow The price was great to you can't beat it for value. Just want to thank the all the team at pub.

Music way too loud
The food was good, but the music was way too loud. It has been like this when we have come before. This time I thought I would just gently ask them to turn it down. My sister had asked them and the lovely lady behind the bar did turn it down a bit, however it didn't really make a different. When I asked she politely said she would need to speak to her manager. However, it remained at the same volume.
We looked for somewhere else to sit but, noticed everywhere had speakers.
Unfortunately, this impacted on our enjoyment of the occasion. We were unable to hear the conversation with our family.
Music in a restaurant should be background, however, it was more like a nightclub.
So sadly, we won't be returning. Sorry.
