I have been using hyperjar for a while…
I have been using hyperjar for a while especially to give my son a card to use when out as a much easier and safer way for him to have funds. Its also no charge unlike other cards advertised for children.
Had no problems and its very easy to manage the account and I think its cheap to use when travelling abroad.

I have used my card in the uk and abroad with no problems at all. More convenient than cash. Also safe because you can only spend what the card balance is at that time.

Been using hyped jar for a few years…
Been using hyped jar for a few years now and nd it's a brilliant tool for saving for events and then using the card/app to pay without having to transfer money. It is also a great way to teach children about saving and how to manage using cards for the first time. Only niggle is once a payment link has been added and the child becomes old enough to link to their own phone, the only way to amend is to call the customer service number. I hate phoning. Make this available on the app!

So i accidentyl transferrred 4500 pound…
So i accidentyl transferrred 4500 pound in to my hyper jar instead of my personal monzo account tried transferring back to monzo from hyper jar and they have frozen my account for proof still not heard back from them the accounts clearly state my full name absaloute joke edited this problem was finally solved the next day after sending proof of my id and me holding it they was just looking out for me and i understand that but when u need your funds and there not available its annoying but had they not and it was fraud id be even more annoyed thanks for resolving it hyper jar gonna put 3 stars due to how slow replys are and u cant speak to any one on phone

All good so far, great app and system
Only been using a couple of weeks, but great so far. The kids have physical cards and they're learning about budgeting. Had a small issue, Ajendra on live chat was great and helped me out.

I am extremely disappointed with…
I am extremely disappointed with HyperJar. My account has been suspended since Saturday, and I have been left without access to my own money. This has had a devastating impact on my family. I have had no money to buy food for my children or cover essential daily expenses.
The lack of communication and the length of time it has taken to resolve this issue are completely unacceptable. Customers should not be left in a situation where they cannot access their own funds, especially without clear updates or a timeframe for resolution.
I urge HyperJar to resolve this matter immediately and improve the way they handle account suspensions so that no other family has to go through this. This experience has caused unnecessary stress and hardship, and I sincerely hope it is addressed as a matter of urgency.

Absolutely disgraceful - Avoid
Absolutely disgraceful. It has taken almost a week to withdraw funds from my account and I have yet to receive confirmation. I have been a HyperJar customer since 2021, periodically paying money into my account. When I attempted to withdraw around £5000, the company has blocked the transaction. It will only communicate by email and is being incredibly slow to respond. I have provided all the information requested to confirm this is a legitimate withdrawal and have still not received confirmation. They have now blocked my access to my account and so I cannot even use the very limited live chat function. As of today I am still waiting to receive the ~£5,000 transferred with no phone call or correspondence to confirm when o can expect this.
Avoid at all costs if you want modern day banking services and a basic level of customer service.
