This has been probably the most important prep work I have done during my two pregnancies. It gave me the resources to understand my body and it gave me confidence that my body was able to do something that used to really scare me. My first pregnancy resulted in a devastating full term stillbirth. After growing a baby for 9 months and having them die just before birth was not something I could prepare for but I still had to give birth. Doing the breathe work throughout my pregnancy helped me in a very hard time. Laboured for 3.5 hours at home and gave birth an hour later in hospital unintensionally unmedicated. Baby was 'breathed' out with no pushing in 3 contractions with no tearing. 2.5 years later my second birth to my second baby was coming up. This time round was mentally and emotionally a lot harder. I would have to face a lot of fears. Again the prep work in this toolbox throughout pregnancy helped and was essential to training my brain to remain calm in times of anxiety. Unfortunately, I had to be induced this time due to dangerously low amniotic fluid. Contractions did not start so I needed synthetic oxytocin. Natural contractions and contractions from synthetic oxytocin are completely different, chalk and cheese. I wish I'd known to get epidural straight away, natural Labor can not be compared to the drip. Drawing on my experience from my last birth, I thought I was about to give birth to my baby and I was only 6 cm dilated after 4 hours of very intense contractions with less then a minute apart! People if your induced just get the epidural straight away, natural Labor is not the same! Once I had the epidural, it was very cruisey, breathing became a lot easier and this time 'pushed' baby out in about 6 contractions, ending with no tearing, minor grazing and a healthy baby.
Very grateful to Poppy and her passion to teach women about birth. I will continue to using birth box with every pregnancy and birth. I recommend birth box to all my friends having babies.

I had an amazing home birth at 40 + 3 and I wouldn’t have been able to do that or make the decision to have one without Birthbox.
I followed Poppy on Instagram for my previous pregnancy but never purchased the course, all her free content was amazing but the course really has it all and she offers a reduced payment option.
When I found out I was pregnant again I was sure I would use the course throughout my pregnancy. I found it difficult at first to melt into the meditations and allow my mind to fully relax.. this improved the more I listened! What I loved most about Birthbox was the knowledge it gave me, I learnt so much about birth, the body and my rights. My favourite track in pregnancy was the hypnobirthing and positive affirmations. The birth planning was really useful too although I wasn’t holding on to my birth plan and learnt birth can’t be controlled and I was comfortable with that as long as I stayed informed and remembered no matter what I was built for this.
Originally I had planned to birth on birth unit with an option of a pool but I attended a local home birth Q&A which started making me consider birthing at home. My previous birth and labor involved a lot of intervention without me feeling informed or apart of the decision making and I was induced , waters broken and had the epidural which resulted in an assisted delivery and episiotomy. This was all very fast paced and scary and at points things felt unnecessary. I promised myself this time would be different. Unfortunately my first birth I had a PPH of over 2 L (I had episiotomy & forceps) so birthing on the unit wasn’t advised but everything I learned on birth box about the science and physiology along with my homebirth q&a I trusted my body and hormones.
Around 39 weeks I started having what I believed to be irregular contractions for two days and it went away when I started to doubt myself and think but it’s my due date I listed to poppys podcast about due dates and this helped ground me and I think in turn allowed me to relax and let the oxytocin build.
On a Sunday evening I started having lower back pain and I welcomed it and become excited that this could be it, I followed what I had learned, and the practical tips that poppy shared for each stage. I welcomed the contraction but relaxed and distracted myself and I actually just went to bed. At about 10:30 I was woken up by the sensation still in my back moving across the front but again just kept trying to go back to sleep. waking multiple times in the night let the wave come in and out and not checking the clock allowed me to relax. I eventually started to feel it build and needed some movement and ran a warm bath at 2:30 am this really helped. I had fairy lights on , lavender and listened to my favourite track and kept telling myself my body can do this… I was still unsure if it might go away. I tried to go back to sleep but couldn’t. At about 3:30 out of curiosity I used my Freya app for a little while to time contractions and they were still a little irregular but coming every 10nmins. I woke my partner and decided to go downstairs and set up the pool.
At about 5:30 I was still chatting and laughing and moving freely despite having multiple contractions within a 10 minute period. I used my comb throughout right through to the end. I decided it was time to call the midwife and get my toddler to bed nans. At this point I also started to use my tens machine which was really helpful along with repeating positive affirmations in my mind.
The midwife arrived about 7:30 I had her check the pool and I got in. This instantly helped. I was vocalising the whole time!! On my knees. It was beautiful. During a contraction I even said this is amazing. One thing I found hard was visualisation however in my birth all I kept thinking was my contractions like waves coming in and out building and settling. I did doubt myself and thought this is too manageable I’m going to be in labor for ages and found it really difficult to do the breathing but I had the oxytocin bubble on. Although I wasn’t actively listening and doing what it was suggesting it was a comfort to me to hear poppys voice and the background track reminding me of all the work I had previously done. My midwife was even repeating the affirmations when my labor did intensify. My partner was holding my hand the whole time and telling me I could do it. I had a baby girl at 10:22 am in the pool and it was so amazing and empowering I just kept repeating and saying I’ve done it I’ve done it at home. I done everything I had wanted no interventions no fighting for what I wanted just peace and space to deliver my baby how I choose and also space to deliver my placenta using all the tips poppy taught through the course.
Without Birthbox I wouldn’t have had the confidence to believe in myself. Everything was InMy mindhearing Poppys voice and the track guided me through

I started listening to the birthbox tracks from the fourth month of my pregnancy. My husband also listened to some. It made us both really excited about labour, and very connected to our unborn baby.
Of course, the birth didn't go as planned, and I ended up getting the epidural because it was incredibly long (70 hours!) and I just got exhausted. But before that, we had long hours of breathing together and listening to the oxytocin bubble and the labouring background track and it was absolutely amazing. The most fusional experience we ever experienced. I loved going through all this with Poppy's voice in my ears.

I looked into a bunch of different hypnobirthing courses and settled on this one because of Poppy's straightforward style and her position on talking about pain. I've finished the course and have started listening to some of the album meditations and I have some mixed opinions. First, the video section of the birth course was really short and I found it quite superficial: for example, I expected a more in-depth analysis of anatomy, and the section on the partner's role is just a PDF file. There are more resources on her YouTube or Instagram, but the nice thing about a course is having more detailed explanations and everything organized in one place. I expected more practical videos and more in-depth analysis.
The second thing I'd like to mention is more personal: the insistence on being "designed" for birth sounds quite religious to me, which I don't align with, and could set people up for disappointment. For example, if I have a complication and I need medical interventions (for example, if the umbilical cord is wrapped around the baby's neck, or if for whatever reason the birth doesn't start and my body doesn't respond to an induction, which I heard can happen), does that mean I have a "faulty design"? The course acknowledges that not everything goes according to plan, but I don't see how it's possible to both be "designed for birth" and need a C-section, for example. I really like the idea of avoiding interventions unless necessary, but listening to this insistence on being designed for birth makes me a bit fearful that it might not apply to me, and it makes it harder for me to relax, since I constantly remain a bit skeptical. I do find some of the meditations relaxing and useful, and will continue going through the album, but the course was disappointing.

I honestly can't recommend Birth Box enough.
When I first fell pregnant, I was absolutely terrified of giving birth. Like so many women, everything I'd seen growing up had taught me that birth was something to fear, painful, traumatic, and something you just had to endure. My birth plan was simple: get the epidural as soon as possible and get it over with.
Then I attended a birth retreat, which completely transformed the way I saw birth. Learning about the physiology of birth and what our bodies are actually designed to do opened my eyes to how empowering and instinctive birth can be. It completely changed the path I was on, and I made the decision to plan a home birth, a decision I never could have imagined making before.
That's when I found Poppy.
I bought Birth Box and listened to the meditations every single day throughout my pregnancy. Looking back now, I truly believe they were one of the biggest reasons I had the birth I did. During labour, Poppy's voice felt like a safe place. The breathing, visualisations, and mindset work I'd practised over and over gave me the confidence to surrender instead of fight what my body was doing.
I ended up having the most incredible water birth at home in a birth pool in our living room. In fact, we were in denial that I was in labour for so long and things ramped up so quickly that by the time we called our midwife and doula, our little boy was already making his entrance; we accidentally freebirthed!
I genuinely don't think I would have had the same experience without Birth Box. It didn't just prepare me for birth, it completely changed my relationship with it. Instead of fear, I felt trust. Instead of panic, I felt calm. Instead of feeling like birth was happening to me, I felt capable, informed, and empowered throughout.
I recommend Birth Box to every pregnant friend I have, whether they're planning a hospital birth, a home birth, or are still undecided. No matter how your birth unfolds, the mindset and confidence this course gives you are absolutely priceless. It was one of the best investments I made in my pregnancy, and I'll be using it again for this baby too.

I bought your oxytocin bubble playlist when I was 38 weeks pregnant as I was starting to fear birth. My birth experience with my first wasn’t traumatic but equally it wasn’t how I wanted it to be (on my back and legs in stirrups). I found in the last few weeks taking some time to listen to the meditations really helpful.
In the end I didn’t have much time to listen to the labour tracks as baby girl decided that she was ready and wasn’t going to hang about, we didn’t make it to the hospital, we got halfway there and my instincts kicked in. I was listening to the labour track at full volume which was helping keep my mindset calm, and trust that my body knew what to do and I wasn’t scared.
I ended up delivering baby in the back of an ambulance at the side of the road. It was AMAZING. The crew let me do my thing and supported and encouraged me, I birthed my baby calmly and safely regardless of the environment.

I had two incredible natural births that I would never have been able to do without Birth Box and Poppy. I stayed calm and unquestioning with both 22 hour labours (except for the moments when I hit transition, which, due to the what I had learnt in Birth Box, reassured me that I was about to meet my babies). Birth Box gave me a knowledge, power and strength that I never thought I had in me. I love Poppy's balanced view of birth; including the possibilities as well as the realities. I have huge gratitude and wish it was a standard part of the process for all pregnant women preparing for whatever birth they would like to have.

Hello! Just wanted to thank you for your wonderful oxytocin bubble!
I just gave birth to my second baby and had a wonderful unmedicated birth in hospital- was sooooo much nicer than my first experience. I listened to your playlist everyday for a few weeks multiple times a day, would take it to the beach with me and play it whilst listening to the waves and would listen to it whilst falling asleep. It got me from the start of early labour right to transition ( then I took it off so I could really let go and make NOISE/ROAR just as you taught in your tracks) I remember my first birth being so suprised and unsure about the sounds I was making and probably a little worried about how loud I was being, where as this time I practiced and embraced the sound and had no worries or fear of the noises coming out as I knew they were good, welcomed and not to be at all ashamed and just to let go and go for it in any way that felt right! Thank you !!

Poppy’s hypnobirthing box was fantastic during the pregnancy and in preparation for my baby’s birth. I used affirmations whenever I went for a walk and before sleep when I had a quiet time with my bump, and I used labour tracks in the first 9 hours of my labour, at night, when I got the first contractions. I also listened to Poppy’s Pot That Mumma podcast and I think I was very well prepared for whatever my birth would bring. Thank you, Poppy!

The birth box is an amazing tool. I used it almost every day for 6months leading up to my first birth and it prepared me so well for everything. I had so much control and motivation for my 25 hour natural labor and not once did I have fear or doubts even during the most intense times. Even the hospital staff, my doula, and doctor have all complimented my birth journey and how calm and controlled I was during labor. Thank you for creating this tool and I highly recommend for preparing for labor and birth!

Some of my prep involved your birth meditations that I listened to on the app! I got the birth box program near the end of my pregnancy but it was still very helpful. While I was in labor at home I listened to some of your meditations, sat on a yoga ball, wore an eye mask and got into the zone. I was going to deliver at a hospital with a midwife but I didn't make it and delivered at home in our bathroom with my husband and the midwife on the phone! I had watched a few videos of mothers delivering in the car on the way to the hospital and I've also given birth before, so I had a sense of what to do. While I wouldn't recommend an unplanned home birth everything went smoothly thankfully! It was very exciting 😳. And I think the prep I did with birth box helped me stay grounded and trust in my body throughout it all. Thank you!

I had already done a lot of research on my own. Books, podcasts, videos...so I already knew 95% of what's in this course. Despite this, it was beneficial to go through the course & was a good refresher for what I may have learnt months ago at the beginning of my pregnancy.
P.S: FTM. I had a vaginal homebirth with a slightly asynclitic baby - 7hrs in the pushing phase. Minor tearing, no stitches needed

Hiii Poppy! Just wanted to say thank you for your meditations! I listened to them my entire pregnancy with my 3rd baby and also during birth! They helped me so much to stay calm and relaxed. I gave birth a few weeks prior to you giving birth to your 3rd! And we ended up not having a midwife or a doctor to attend the birth since I was already 42 weeks and wanted a homebirth. It was the best decision I made! 💕

Wow! I purchased Poppy’s Birth Box at the start of my third trimester after listening to her podcast from the start of my pregnancy. I went into labour with my first child feeling calm, empowered and confident. After being induced after two sweeps, I used Poppy’s affirmations to get me to 10cm with only gas and air. I ended up needing local anaesthetic for an episiotomy and forceps delivery but never felt out of control or unable to advocate for myself throughout the process. I would recommend this course to anyone it was truly magical and worth everything.

I just want to say thank you! 💗 I birthed my baby to your hypnobirthing track it helped me SO much to focus and zone in. I had a home birth booked in with private midwives but unfortunately my labour went for 5 days with really inconsistent contractions that they would just stop and fizzle out so after going for 5 days straight by Friday I was 5cm and we made the decision to go to hospital and get oxytocin to kick start the contractions and the rest was history. Could not of done it without your sound track! And we got our natural birth in the end with no intervention or medication. What a wonderful way to begin my motherhood journey 🥹

This box was part of my birth story and I mean that literally.
I’d planned a hospital water birth for my second baby and wanted to feel genuinely prepared, not just logistically, but mentally and emotionally. The birth box and oxytocin bubble track became central to how I approached labour.
I had a traumatic 45hrs long first labor with epidural forceps and episiotomy, and a baby born with a head haemorrhage.
This time, labour started spontaneously at 7:30am at 41+3, (I’d been booked for induction that evening no longer needed!). It ramped up fast but I stayed calm, breathed through contractions at home, and got to hospital in my own time, headphones on, completely in my own space in the passenger seat in UFO position (upward forward open) while my husband drove.
In the bath at the hospital by 1:50pm, oxytocin bubble track playing, using nothing but a comb for pain relief. The room was silent. Waters broke, four contractions later (intensity ramped up through the roof then) and some panting type breath, my baby was born at 3:09pm. 4kg. No tear.
I had no idea where I was in labour. I didn’t need to. The down breath alone transformed how I handled contractions. I fully trusted my body, leaned into the information it gave me and how it felt on the moment, and it delivered.
I am recovering fast and baby is very healthy and came to this world fast but in calm and peace.
