I paid close to $2000 for ultherapy…
I paid close to $2000 for ultherapy treatment. But before the treatment I was hospitalized for facial numbness (Bell's Palsy). After speaking with one of the reps and explaining my situation,I asked for a refund and I was asked to send in documentation, which I did. Their medical director approved it and I was told that I would receive a refund. Strangely, they made another charge of $1700 one day, and then the next day refunded me $1600. I do not know why there was a partial refund. When I called to inquire, I was told that the refund department was closed. I will call back on the next business day. These people are unprofessional. I had some facial scarring from the first treatment, and mentioned it to the rep and she "excitedly" said "oh, my mother had the same thing happen to her". Where to they get these representatives anyway?
Awful Customer Service
The girls are wonderful and did a great job when I got my services!!
The company renewed a membership on an auto renewal w/o permission!! I specifically told them I did not want to renew and in the past I had to sign myself up!!
Now, they will not refund me!!
I went to the store 2 times, made a phone call and was told I’ll be on hold for at least an hour, so pushed the star key to get a phone call back, No Phone Call!!
I got an email that they want 20.00 for canceling the Membership i specifically told them I did not want!!
So, I called on my break at work and was told I need to sit in the phone forever how long it was going to take to get a refund!!
The worst Customer Service I ever experienced!! They used my gas, my time and on my day off, I was on the phone for 40 minutes, No Answer!!
I feel like they owe me for all the hoops they have put me through!!
Not Happy, for that, they deserve no stars!!

I’m writing this in hopes to save someone the pain, developed anxiety and financial loss that I had to go through with this horrible company. If you are not 1,000% sure that you can handle a decent amount of pain DO NOT sign a contract with them- because they are just trying to get your money. They do not care about you and are willing to lie and ignore you in order to put you into a corner to keep your money. They will try to entice you with the savings of a contract (without telling you about the pain of the procedures or if they may or may not be successful on you) but if you are unable to finish your package due to pain or any other circumstances that would make sense, you will be SOL on any leftover money and no one (including headquarters customer service) will care because you are only dollar signs to them. My case was extremely mishandled by both the people doing the procedures and the front staff and when told to headquarters, they told me I had no money left in my account (when I was told I did 2.5 weeks before and hadn’t seen them since then- so no one knows what is going on there AT ALL).Do yourself a favor- if you’re going to get something done, go to a smaller company who may actually care about your needs enough not to lie or make things up straight to your face and save yourself the mental anguish I went through with them.
BEWARE: Ideal Image is a Downright Fraud
I returned to Ideal Image after several years between services. Originally, when I got my contract for my treatment, one selling point for me was the lifetime guarantee of a set price should I choose to retreat at any point in the future. When I went to pay what should have been $75 for my treatment, I was told the price would be $90. I reminded the person at the desk that my account and contract from 2015 has my lifetime price set at $75. I was told that someone else had the same issue and their financial person was able to make an adjustment to the corrected amount. (Apparently, they changed their records system and did not have information regarding contracts for members from before the change over.)
So two people behind the counter proceeded to try to contact this person via email who was working remotely (or from another facility) in order to have my contract honored. While waiting for a response from this person I was told that Ideal Image had to raise their rates to reflect the cost of inflation and that was the reason for the additional charge. I informed them that this fact had nothing to do with me as this is the purpose of a contract with a set lifetime amount.
After about 15-20 minutes of waiting for this issue to be resolved, the “financial person” denied the request and said I had to pay the $90.
It seems convenient and down right fraudulent to not have contract records. Even if there was a change within their system, records are digital at this point and have been for over a decade. So keeping older contracts does not demand physical space. I plan to pursue this issue until it is made right. I am amazed that a company of this size would try to scam people in this way. It’s just plain wrong and they should be ashamed of themselves!
FRAUD!
RUN! This place is terrible. They charged my credit card for service I did not sign up for. Had a consultation with Chung for coolsculpting. She demanded my credit card info. to hold an appointment. I cancelled the apt. that same day only to find out my card was charged for the service I never signed up for. Fraud, lies and unprofessional!

This company is fraudulent. Please do not purchase anything from them. Bought a package from them and sue to medical condition I could not use it, they are refusing to refund me. Their customer service is worse than Comcast. They are very unprofessional, clinics are dirty. They need zero star rating for this company.

I am leaving this review due to non-communication and questionable business practices. My membership was set to auto-renew, I contacted the company several times after the renewal, asking that it be reversed and the fee of $299 be added back to my credit card. My calls started on January 21st, and I have been calling and leaving messages and have been on hold each time with no callback. One time I was placed on hold for 59 minutes; I finally hung up and called back only to find out the recording said they were closed. I called again yesterday and gave fair warning I would be going online to leave reviews, and my first stop was going to be the BBB. I left a review on the BBB site, and today I had an email saying my membership has been canceled, but still no word on the $299 refund. It also says someone will call me within 3-5 business days to discuss. So I am waiting on that call. It's horrible when a company treats customers who have spent thousands of dollars with them like trash and of no consequence; shame on you Ideal Image.
UPDATE; Ideal Image reached out to me and said they will refund $279 of the $299. I have already disputed the original charge with CC company and they have credited my card. Ideal Image said they could not proceed with the refund until I drop the open case with my CC company. So I reached out to my CC company and they advise me not to close the case but to let them handle it from here. They have seen too many consumers get burned by this tactic. Close the case and then you never get the refund. And you have to start all over again, So I have left the case open with CC company. I will update you.
I had to pay for 2 syringes of filler…
I had to pay for 2 syringes of filler (based on what they thought I would use) and had to pay for these up front, which was through Ally lending. On my appointment, only 1 was used, leaving me with one that I would use at a later date. Well, the lady who gave me the filler actually asked me (I had filler one other time at this location) if they had moved the filler around last time after receiving it, she wasnt sure if she should or not. Umm, shouldnt they know what they are supposed to do, and not ask the client? That filler showed absolutely no difference. I did complain about this, but heard nothing. Called 2 1/2 months ago to use the 2nd syring seeings I had already paid for it. The appointment had to be 3 months before they could get me in. Get a call today, they have to reschedule it, which was made 2 1/2 months ago. They now can not get me an appointment after 3pm on ANY DAY ANY TIME IN THE FUTURE. I am not using vacation time for this. She told me, that maybe some time in the future they can get me in when it works for me but had no idea when they would be. Im sorry but now I am expected to keep paying on something I have no idea when I can get in??? oh, and my "free" treatment for paying for a membership is the same thing... I got put on a waiting list because there are no available appointments anytime in the future. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service, do not waste the $ or time!!!

Unhappy about having to agree to terms…
Unhappy about having to agree to terms that don’t pertain to me in order to schedule an appointment. I signed up back in 2011 for laser hair removal in 2 areas. I have a Lifetime Membership and now when I’m trying to schedule one of my touch up appointments, I can’t proceed with my appointment without agreeing to the terms and conditions of their new Lifetime Guarantee Membership. They say this information doesn’t pertain to my plan and they try to include a disclaimer saying it doesn’t but when you read the language of the contract it sounds like it wants me to agree to the terms and condition of this new Lifetime Guarantee Membership, which would not be in my benefit. If I’m not signing up for this new membership, then why do I need to sign it just to get a treatment under my current membership? So therefore, they aren’t honoring my original contract. READ THE FINE PRINT! Oh they also tried to send me an email stating it doesn’t pertain to me but there’s no signature line and it just says the membership acknowledgement vs. stating the specific acknowledgment. Then they give you a 3 hour window to accept the terms or your appointment gets cancelled.
Poor business practices
Beware that they can change the terms of your membership whenever they want. I initially joined the membership because of the discount of Botox at $8.90 with no minimum. However, I discovered that they added a minimum of 100 units in the middle of my membership. Any other upstanding business would have implemented the new minimum with a membership renewal, honoring your initial membership terms until completion. I distinctly joined because of the discount, and I feel bamboozled. I’m no longer giving them my business because I cannot trust their business practices
It’s also very difficult to book appointments because they are not adequately staffed.

They tell you that you WILL SEE results but I did not see any results from my cool sculpting. When asked for refund I was told NO. They do not guarantee results. DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THEM. DO NOT SIGN UP. IT'S A SCAM.

DO NOT GET ULTHERAPY. The frequency and heat removes your facial fat which CAUSES WRINKLES. Facial fat never comes back. Do not get this therapy whether you are young or older. It permanently ruins your face. I went in as preventative wrinkling and got wrinkles from it. I do not look the same or better. It ruined the tone I had in my face by removing or rather killing the fat with heat. Remember this kills the much needed fat in your face!!! Fact.

Don't sign up for their membership
I bought a lifetime membership in May for $250. This membership included $8.90/unit of botox. This is the only reason I signed up for the membership. In my last visit, the nurse informed me that due to inflation, they changed their prices and the fee is now $10/unit. Without any warning, they are changing a substantial element of the customer value proposition. This is unacceptable and illegal. If there are any changes in the value proposition of the membership customers need to be properly informed of that change and have the option to opt-out if they don't agree. Shady practices. I am sure there are other customers impacted by their unethical and illegal practices. Please reach out if you are. I will be looking for a lawyer so people stop getting scammed.
Ideal Image rip-off
Well, they deceptively sold me on cool-sculpting for 2 treatments totaling 4,200, which included the box of skin treatments they sent me. They took the money, but made no mention that in 2 day’s I would be expecting another contract for an additional 3,900! I backed-out of this scam within 3 day’s, lucky to get refunded the 4,020.00, but I immediately sent back their unopened box with labeling intact the way it was sent (UPS) a month ago, but they claim they haven’t received it, because I want the additional 180 something dollars back. I have wasted too much time for this nonsense and initially some guy said the total money was non-refundable, so at least I got the majority of it, I doubt I will get the rest of it…they are deceptive liars…

I would give no stars if I could. My money was taken on 11/10/22. Appointments were impossible to come by. I finally booked my first treatment for CoolSculpting on 12/1 and the machine malfunctioned so I cannot receive treatment for 24 hours. I had a second treatment booked for January 7th but I cannot use it since I can't get the first treatment. I can't get an appointment for 2 months. I am asking for my money back. It is frustrating and ridiculously impossible to receive treatment after your money is paid in full. I was promised the sun moon and stars by the agent that sold me the package. I am traveling in early February which was the whole reason for buying the package in the first place. Ideal image has not delivered on anything.

That was a big lie or miscommunication After the “consultant” was 20 minutes late she took forever to figure out the price which made no sense at all. And to top it off they said they couldn’t do it as was promised on the phone. What a waste of two hours! Maybe it was for the good. Imagine if they would have injected me with a needle for Botox.Geeez.
DO not use ideal images
DO not use ideal images, they are rude and greedy. I signed up got a loan, then loan company made payment on a date I couldn't meet, would not change it and it would of cost my credit and me $35 extra a month. So I had to cancel, so then Ideal greed images charged me $250 for a treatment that was supposed to start with a free one, plus $100 for cancelling. I Do NOT recommend to someone who is limited or can't have money on side for the dictated payment date, because Ideal will get a lot for NOTHING.
