I was charged $1.00 plus $8.88 plus $29.47 ,and got no report at all

Bogus website took an hour of my time compiling my requested report. Paid the fee no report ! Haven't answered 2 emails. Definitely a sham company . Stay Awsy !

What a scam! Very little easily available info was included in the report and much of what was included was incorrect but they do not provide any way to correct the info.

I would give it zero Stars but I can't. The website is complete scam because they advertise the first report as a dollar and five days risk-free trial. But when you authorize the $1 payment they take the $30 for the complete program monthly rate when it shouldn't be charged unless you don't cancel the free trial. So they try to charge you $31 for your first report when it's supposed to be only a dollar. But not only that they take whatever you have left in your account if it's not 31 bucks and don't provide you any report. In other words they just take your money and you're screwed. Completely dishonest and trustworthy and if our government was on the job would not exist so we have to protect ourselves because all these agencies that take our taxpayer money do not do anything they're actually create loopholes for these crooks to get away with what they get away with that's why they exist. Worthless

They state one amount and charge you a higher amount. If you create an account, you cannot close it through the website. You have to call a toll free number that no one answers (or calls you back) or send an email. It took almost two weeks to get a reply to an email requesting account closure. They sent a confirmation that it was closed yet continued to bill me and refused to issue a refund for charges after closing the account. Simply put, they are crooks.

This is a scam company that deliverd false information and charges your credit card gor a full subscribtion when they reported day tjat their false and misleading reports only cost $1. Tjis is not true. They will vharge you a minimum of 22.47. Stay away and join tjeir class action lawsuit if they do this to you. This company should not be in business. It is a scam.

I do not have a Track phone nor have I ever subscribed or used this service. I received notice via email that it was cancelled. I believe this was Identity Theft to begin with. I received no useable information from them. I don't even know who they are. I had no idea they were charging me for these services I never got nor used. I notified them that this was Identity Theft and to refund ALL my money they had charged me for each month I didn't know about. They cancelled the illegal subscription saying "Track phone" cancelled but failed to refund the illegally charged money.

I'm now filing with FBI IC3 unit, PayPal, and my bank for fraud. If they still refuse to refund all this money for subscription and information I never ordered or subscribed to plus don't even have Track phone to use with I will file a civil lawsuit against them. Their records would easily show it was never used by me at my current phone number. I have Spectrum for that. I got NO information period.

I called them explained that I didn't mean to sign up for a reacurring subscription they immediately cancelled it and even refunded the $29 back to me and assured me that the account was cancelled even got the emails saying that it was cancelled and that I got a full refund for the current month best customer service representative I've ever dealt with

CHARGED ME TWICE FOR THE SAME REPORT WHEN IT SAID ONLY ONE, PLUS AN ADDED 6 DOLLARS FOR NO APPARENT REASON.

Also, the report was inaccurate! Was looking for a file on someone i know was charged for a felony, and there was nothing on file for it! Haha!

Stay away, not a good use of your money

I would not recommend using information.com for any search. They say they have a 5-day free trial but even when you cancel the trial within that 5 days, they still charge you for the next month. I wasn't able to access the one report I tried to obtain. I have contacted them by phone and email but they say no refunds are available and to talk to my bank.

You used my credit card without my authorization, for the amount of $29.47. Please credit my account for the total amount of $29.47.

Like others, they like to hide or charge extra fees. But what got my goat was learning my data was sold by them.

I cancelled the same day they took the first dollar for a “trial “ , twice .. the information was old, and they actually put the name of the person I was looking up, and that person’s address as the account holder, with my email.. that was April 27, 2026.. to date these people have attempted to debit my account for $29.47 eight times.. the latest this morning.
The phone number doesn’t answer and the “ support “ team emails back confirmation that I indeed cancelled on April 27,and would not I consider staying for $9.99 a month!!!
I had my debit card locked and every attempt was unsuccessful, I will be changing my account numbers.. that is the only way to stop these frauds…

This service is a scam. First off the background check and people location service is terrible. It does not provide any accurate information that is up to date. The person I was searching for cam back with zero social media presence and a simple google search found more than this garbage service. Next, the site was difficult to navigate to get what you are looking for. And finally the worst part about it is trying to cancel the service. As soon as I got my first background check back and noticed it was incomplete and inaccurate, I tried to cancel. There is no option on the website so I sent an email to cancel and never received a reply. then my card was charged again I sent an email with no response, I ended up having to dispute the chargtes and get a new card. TOTAL SCAM - DO NOT GIVE THEM A DIME

I contacted them within the time limit to cancel. Their response was they were extremely busy & couldn't help me
Then I receive a message weeks later they were not going to refund because I didnt file for refund in the time limit required. AVOID THIS CROOKED & DISHONEST COMPANY AT ALL COST

I understand all the negative reviews but they've really changed they haven't corrected the fact that they make it difficult for you to realize you've been signed up as well as sometimes making a mistake to not accurately give you your preview Before charging you, nevertheless they were easy to contact easy to fix the problem and refund me for the charge. Using them to look up people was excellent and I would certainly not have a hesitation to use them again.

Unauthorized Charges - I attempted to cancel 3 days before my trial period ended by phone, and I got a recording that stated they were having trouble with their system, and that if I needed to get through to customer service, I should email them instead. I emailed them and told them to cancel my trial period, that I did not want to be billed, and I got an auto-response telling me that they are receiving "higher than normal volume" and then redirected me to call them. There is no way to contact this company to cancel your trial period. Three days later, I was billed a monthly $30 subscription fee that I did not authorize. I had to call my credit card company to dispute the transaction and have it removed.

Their website said unlock report for $1. With a 5 day trial, cancel anytime. After five days a charge of $27.95 monthly. I agreed and gave my info but they charged me the whole $27.95. What a charade. I would not recommend.

I canceled my membership with them twice and they still charged me

This company doesntdeserve1 star, i have been looking for some info on my family. I tried and paid $1 for a 7 day free trial, i get it it was only $1 . The repirt sucked and they took 40 out of my acct even after i cancelled. I called the number always has problems with phone servoce, never an answer i emailed the 12 times, norefund , no acct access, no reply. I cancelled my membership so i wknow thwts whg i dont gave an acct but theg tookmoney, in return means i dhould have an accessible account,. They got me on two different bank accounts one went in thr negative,. I do not and will not ever recommend this site for anyone ever, i cant log in and everytine i go to the page it says pay 1 dolkar, no i paid 41 dollars already if anything at the dollar rate i should have 40 mpre reports. I am so mad about this site. I hope everyone else has better luck but i doubt it. Hood luck everyone
