My experience with Insuranceline was very positive. I enjoyed assisting customers with their enquiries, helping them understand their insurance options, and providing support in a professional and friendly manner. The role allowed me to strengthen my communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
I also gained valuable experience managing client information accurately, handling administrative tasks, and working collaboratively within a team. One of the most rewarding parts of the experience was being able to build trust with customers and help them feel confident in their decisions.

I had income protection
Because the consultant didn't explain the out of action correctly to me they refused to pay my benefits even though during the phone conversation the consultant said I would be insured and would be paid
They love taking your premiums but when the time comes to pay up they use every excuse not to pay
Wouldn't recommend. My issues started in December 2025
I've been through your dispute team and they can't even admit during the phone call with your consultant in 2019 he has admitted I'm still covered and still get paid

So I went through the internal dispute resolution regarding my rejected accidental death claim and of course they came back with the same answer of denied. They know nothing about health conditions. My mum was 76 years old and had type 1 diabetes which she had since she was 2 years old. She tripped and landed on a piece of furniture before hitting the ground. She broke her collarbone and ribs on her right side. The pain was unbearable for her to the point where she had to be sedated. She then wasn’t eating because she couldn’t therefore her diabetes couldn’t be controlled as eating is very important for them. She ended up passing away 19 days later. How can that not be accidental death. Had she not had that fall she would not if passed away when she did. She also had another policy with real insurance and they had no problem with paying out the accidental death claim. They were so understanding and said to me straight out that we can see her accident caused her death. I said to insuranceline that the other insurance had no problem with it and they turned around and said to me well they shouldn’t have. I’ve decided that I’m not going to afca I’m going to the media about this.

And like all insurance companies, the greater your loss and pain, the more they enjoy cheating you.

They were very polite and helpful BUT I wasn’t happy that I lost over $3000 because my policy was cancelled, should have had a phone call NOT SMS messages. Where I live we have been having a lot of issues with NBN the internet and our phone lines.
