Avoid this company! Would never use again.
Booked a mini bus to transport a group for a family meal and back, so everyone else could have a drink and not worry about driving.
We were going to the pub that I work at so I am drive the journey EVERY day!
We got picked up and the driver put the location in the sat nav. Fair enough as the sat nav was showing the way that I travel every day, the estimated time was around 1 hour 10 minutes.
The driver then decided he knew a better way and was about to turn off. I asked the driver to go the way the sat nav had told him as I knew that was the quickest way. He ignored me and carried on the way he thought was best. After passing another turning that would of been the second quickest way, I asked him where he was taking us as the time on the sat nav had jumped up significantly!
He then told me that he knew how to get to the pub from HIS HOUSE!! So he was heading back to that direction, as he knew the way to the pub from his house!!! Surely that is what the sat nav is for if you don't know the way off by heart from the pick up location! Not take us to your house first and then make our way to the destination?! Absolutely ludicrous!! I was absolutely furious by this point and by the time we reached the pub it has taken us an extra 40 minutes, meaning we were late for our table and to meet all our guests.
On the way back, I made it very clear that I would not be going any other way back than the way that I travel EVERY DAY!! Practically had to force him to drive the way that we wanted to go. We got back home in 1 hour 5 minutes!!! Whereas it took us 40 minutes longer on the way there, and he still argued with me that the way he went first was quicker!! I will never be using this company again. Terrible service, awful customer service and very expensive!
