Issues Resolved
I did have some issues between Integro and IPS Pharmacy due to confusion by the clinic on the expiry date being too soon but after a few phone calls to help the team understand the issue they got it resolved. Amena has been supportive throughout and understanding. She’s an asset to the business.
Completely Failed to Comply with Subject Access Request
I submitted a comprehensive Subject Access Request under Article 15 of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 to IPS Pharma on 21st December.
What I requested:
∙ All prescriptions received, processed, queried, amended, rejected, or dispensed
∙ Copies of prescription documents and associated metadata
∙ Internal notes, annotations, flags, or comments
∙ All correspondence (email, portal messages, internal communications)
∙ Records of errors, discrepancies, corrections, or clarifications
∙ Logs showing receipt dates, processing dates, and actions taken
∙ Any data shared with or received from prescribing clinics
∙ Data from electronic systems, email, logs, backups, and archives
What they provided:
One delivery note from October 2024.
Then they asked Cannabis Clinic Cardiff to provide the prescription - effectively outsourcing their legal obligation back to the clinic I’m in dispute with.
This is not compliance with a Subject Access Request.
A SAR requires the data controller to provide ALL personal data they hold. IPS Pharmacy processed my prescriptions for three months. They must hold:
∙ Prescription receipt records
∙ Processing logs
∙ Internal communications
∙ System metadata
∙ Correspondence with the clinic
∙ Any queries, flags, or notes about my prescriptions
None of this was provided. One delivery note and a request to a third party is not a SAR response.
After being abruptly discharged by Cannabis Clinic Cardiff without taper in December (following prescription chaos, a data breach on 9 November that was never properly investigated, and three months of ongoing errors), I need complete records to document what happened.
IPS Pharma’s inadequate response makes this impossible.
Either they genuinely don’t understand their legal obligations under GDPR, or they’re deliberately providing minimal information hoping I’ll go away.
Neither is acceptable.
For a pharmacy dispensing controlled substances, this level of record-keeping and data protection compliance is concerning.
Do not recommend.

Really shocked to see negative reviews. I have been using this pharmacy for at leat a year. I have never had a bad experience. They have been amazingly good, right from the very beginning. Always professional, always really helpful and informative. Completely different from all my horrible experiences with other, in-house pharmacies (curathief, cedarwood, dg, montu). They are so quick, I get my bill within a few hours of them receiving my presc., and they are fast to order and post. Always keep me informed. Really the best I have had, by a mile. The best formulary. They tell you when meds are low in stock, when they need to be ordered in, they reduce to price of meds near their expiry date. Cannot recommend enough.

I had an excellent experience with IPS Pharma, and I want to highlight the outstanding service provided. Communication was clear, professional, and genuinely caring from start to finish. Every step of the process was handled efficiently, and any questions I had were answered quickly and helpfully.
A special mention goes to the pharmacy administrator Tanvir Mudhar, who was incredibly supportive and ensured everything went smoothly. The service felt personal, attentive, and reliable exactly what you want when dealing with something important.
Overall, IPS Pharma delivered a first-class experience, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic company to deal with , from initial consultation with Dr sunny at 1pm to ordering my prescription with ease which I ordered at 2pm today and should be receiving my medication by 1pm tomorrow ,had a few technical problems my side as im a technophobe, communication was outstanding and helpful thanks again

I heard about the service from a friend who'd already tried it.
I filled out an online application including a few personal details and of course what illnesses/issues i suffer from. I got an email with next steps then received a message and call explaining everything and to book in for a telephone consultation. After the consultation I received my acceptance email and prescription email straight away. I was a little hesitant but paid for my prescription and the very next day it arrived via royal mail. The quality of the herb is really good and would easily compare with what most people call Cali. Both were slightly over the prescribed weight and sealed in proper containers with clearly printed labels giving a description of each product. Struggled to find the prescription download but after a quick email I had it and got it printed out just to be sure. Overall a safe, cost effective and easy way to get your medication 🙂
Very helpful Pharmacy admins - always willing to help!!
There is a specific Pharma admin there who always deals with my requests, no matter how jarring some of the requests might be. I definitely test their patience with some of these yet they always help me out and provide the information I need.
For example, I am a patient outside of the mainland UK. For this reason, I always email or call up before ordering a prescription to check on the available stocklist and then confirm what is already on the home office's export list. I go through various products each time as I need to ensure they suit my needs and are also readily exportable. They are always so patient and helpful when checking these for me, I probably check 6-12 items a month!

I’ve been consistently impressed with IPS Pharmacy. The team is incredibly knowledgeable, and every time I have a question, they provide clear, informative answers. They genuinely know their products and take the time to make sure you fully understand everything.
Their delivery service is outstanding – next-day delivery has always been spot-on for me, even in Northern Ireland, which is something I’ve rarely experienced elsewhere. The staff are professional, responsive, and always on the ball.
