Jack Brunsdon & Son Avis 

We had a new timber front door fitted by Jack Brunsdon about one month ago. We pondered over getting this done for a long time and did look at other companies but we came to the conclusion that Jack Brunsdon had the best selection of doors to match our needs. The fitting took about half a day and the fitters were excellent, making sure that the colour of the mortar fitted with our existing brickwork and taking care to match the pointing style. It was not cheap, especially as we chose Samuel Heath furniture, but we are so pleased with the result.

We had 6 windows a porch and large bay window made and fitted by Jack Brunsdon & Son. We did check out other companies but were not so impressed by the options and quality, they felt like a cookie cutter type service.
Visiting JB&S showroom you get a really detailed look at how the windows are constructed and why it’s made in such way also the type of glass being used etc. Plus lots of options for handles & leaded glass etc.
I’m not going to lie that it was slightly nerve racking paying so much for windows but having had them installed they have really surpassed our expectations - transformed the look of the house and a warmer quieter home on the inside. No regrets whatsoever.
Also worth knowing that the people fitting the windows really cared about the fitting and finish inside and out. There was no work to be done post fitting, every detail was taken care of.

Excellent quality door. Good communication once order was placed. Salesperson was a little slow to get answers to my questions. Good service from fitting team. Lock should be 3 star, they only fit 1 star as standard. We changed it ourselves to 3 star one. The new door seals well and looks great.

I am very pleased with the windows. From initial visit to finish everything went like clockwork. The couple who fitted the windows did so with minimum fuss and cleared up afterwards. They were helpful, friendly and efficient.

We are pleased with our new back door. Staff have been helpful both in the office and on visits to our home. The installation team were efficient, very pleasant to deal with and tidied up after themselves well.

Very efficient service and timely notification on any changes... The fitters were friendly, courteous and kept the space surrounding the work (front door) clean at all times. Any repairs were done to a very high standard. Now I have my new front door it is warmer, lighter and I feel more secure with the advanced locking system. Would recommend this company on all the points above..

The Jack Brunsdon installation team were first class . They informed as to when they would arrive. ,They discussed with us exactly how they would go about the installation and kept us informed of progress throughout . They were polite and efficient and made a good job of clearing up afterwards . I would highly recommend them as an installation team , thanks

Excellent installation of a french door into an 1870's cottage with no straight edge to work from. They finished the installation to make it look like it had always been there with no trace of a day's work.
The installers came back to check the rendering the next day.
The french door is a high quality wooden frame, sympathetic with an old cottage, making it draught and condensation free.

Over 3 years ago, we installed JB windows and doors throughout our house in the Chilterns. One of the doors got caught in the wind over the weekend, and the top bracket was bent out of shape due to the sheer forces at play. Although it wasn't formally their responsibility, the JB team responded superbly making sure that we were safe & protected, and one of the team popped out in their own time to replace the bracket. Great product and outstanding service 👍

I have experienced a great service for the second time. From help and advice at the start to good communication throughout and an excellent team of installers. The products are high quality and the finish. If we ever move I will know where to source our doors and windows.

A Good Experience

I have just had all my upstairs windows and back door replaced. (I had most of the downstairs windows and doors changed in 2019.). In both cases I had Danny and Debs as fitters. I was so impressed with them in 2019 I specifically asked for them this time too. They are such a great team and I cannot fault them! It was also good to see Phil Day again. I am very pleased with the product and the way the whole process from enquiry to fitting to completion was conducted.

Windows at the back of my house, which gets the weather, then five years later the front door and front windows, now two years later, a back door, - I went back to them again and again because of the quality of the products, the attention to detail of the office staff, and the standard of workmanship of the craftsmen. I also liked their courtesy and the fact they didn’t play loud music! Their aftercare is excellent and I have even hired them to make good a shoddy job done by other builders. Other companies may say they are cheaper but given what you get, they actually aren’t.

Product is good but just hope you don't have any issues under the warranty. After sales service is awful. We spent just under £30,000 with them and we are still waiting, six months after the problems were initially reported for the two windows to be repaired. Three cancelled appointments so far and counting; one appointment cancelled to review the faults and two cancelled so far to repair. Priority clearly given to new customers as each cancellation results in a 5+ week delay for the next appointment.

Appreciate works can overrun but if you were fitting a new front door and couldn't complete the job you would return the next day NOT five weeks later! But you have refused twice now to offer me the same kind of service you give to new customers to me as an existing customer. Priority clearly given to new paying customers rather than existing ones covered under warranty

I had two further windows installed and like four previous ones, the quality of the product and installation was excellent. Before installation I changed my mind about the specification before signing off and this posed no problem. The installers arrived on time, were no trouble, cleaned and tidied afterwards and made sure I was happy with the finished product

Replaced seven wood-framed windows in 200 year old cottage. Excellent quality of product and customer service. Creative on final price. Efficient and tidy installation. Lovely asset to the house.

We decided that we were would go for good quality windows/doors to save ourselves probs in the future. With a 20% discount this became more affordable but remind upper end in price. However you really get what u pay for in this case. From the start efficient in getting a quote, measuring , considering your views, polite and easily available for advice. In the early stages I would like to mention Phil Day who showed us the products and brochure going thru the order and pricing. Not pushy and knowledgable.
Whole house done so project was in 3 phases at different times over 6months partially during COVID crisis.
Fitting: SUPERB done by Danny and Debbie Sutherland who came back at request to do all the phases. These filters were respectful of privacy, polite, efficient and fitted the windows and doors with care and attention as though they were fitting windows in their own house.
Beautiful job costing a total of £60000. A a lot I know but worth every penny.
All FENSA certified.
Payments done efficiently and any errors fixed without a quibble so far. Job finished 2 weeks ago.

The fitters of our windows and doors where excellent arrived and got strait on with it.
When we went to the showroom we was shown all types of windows and doors by the great staff there.
They are a very professional outfit I am glad we had this firm put in our purchase .
