Sue, in store, was very helpful and patient with us whilst we were choosing the sofa.
Delivery time was much shorter than originally predicted.
Simon and Scott, the delivery team, rang ahead to advise us of their arrival time. They kindly removed our old sofa to the garage, unpacked, assembled and positioned the new one.
Both Simon and Scott were friendly, obliging and efficient.

Great choice of pretty much anything you would need in a house. The staff are all really nice, no pushy sales, just friendly and relaxed.

We had a great experience at John Doe. I am quite indecisive and we had slightly different ideas of what we wanted but the staff we were patient and there was no hassle. So we are now happily awaiting delivery of our new table and chairs.

The delivery drivers Simon and Scott were fantastic yesterday. They rang to say their estimated time of arrival and then instantly made us all feel at ease. They removed shoes without being asked, and made sure to ask exactly where I wanted the two beds I purchased in each room. They were professional and gave me some advice on mattresses. 5 star service, these two are a credit to the company!

The customer service and support we received from John Doe (especially Tina) was outstanding. We ordered a Fama chair but when it arrived it was a different shade of green from the Fama sample. John Doe agreed with me but according to Fama it was within their "shade tolerance". At a hefty £2k it certainly wasn't within mine! John Doe immediately said "We will take care of it" and they did. The chair was collected and a new chair was ordered (in a different colour - black - as it's quite hard to get that very wrong).
It arrived within 3 weeks which was much earlier than expected. We are delighted with it but we are more delighted with the fantastic service provided by our local retailer and we're very thankful that we shopped with John Doe.
We can't speak highly enough about the service and kindness shown to us.

We love John Doe as a store, and we also now love their carpet-fitting service. Charlie & Josh did a great job fitting our carpets yesterday. They called to let us know they were on their way and were polite and friendly once they arrived. Ours is a very old house with no straight edges, so probably more challenging than most jobs, but they were extremely professional, helpful and considerate throughout. The end result is excellent and it was good value for money.

Mark and Louis did a super job fitting our bedroom carpet today. They were friendly and professional and we are very happy with everything.

Just had new LVT fitted in our kitchen. Craig was friendly, efficient and helpful. Would highly recommend.

John Doe was such a great company to deal with from start to finish. From having the rooms measured for our new carpets, choosing the carpets and colours, through to the fitting of two bedrooms and the hallway, the whole experience was a pleasure.

The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, providing helpful guidance without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. There was a slight hiccup with the carpet not arriving on time, but Sam kept me fully informed throughout, and the carpet was fitted the following day.

A special mention must also go to the carpet fitters, Mark and Simon E, for their professionalism, efficiency and meticulous attention to detail. They did a marvellous job.

I would definitely use this family-run local business again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent quality, outstanding service and a friendly, professional team.

This is my third purchase from John Does because the service and in particular the delivery, is so good. Very professional and respectful delivery from Andrew and Scott, on a very hot day! Clean and tidy, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Choosing my bedroom carpet with Sam guiding me through the initial process was brilliant. She obviously was very knowledgeable and I never felt pressurised once.
On delivery day which was on time, Simon and Scott arrive with friendly smiles and proceeded to dismantle my bed with professional ease and efficiency. Noting my cupboards were not fitting well, then proceeded to remove them and took the back to Dom who fixed new hinges on them. Thank you. Simon and Scott returned next day to refit them. The phrase over and above the call of duty comes to mind. I cannot thank them enough for the kind and polite way they worked and nothing was too much trouble.
Josh and Mark were also very professional, friendly, meticulous, tidy and polite when laying the carpet. Looked great on completion.
Jack was friendly and knowledgeable in rehanging the bathroom door and even offered advice on my lounge floor which I was very grateful for. Thank you.
