Website was interesting.
Specifying process on website was logical and seemed to work well, checked a couple of things with the chat feature to make doubly sure to avoid expensive mistakes which also went well. Website then mucked me about insisting I log in but would not let me log in as I had not set up a password. So I used another email address so it thought I was somebody else and it was then willing to take my money. Now will have to wait and see what delivery and the product are like.

Painful experience, product fine
Ordered a door that was quoted as having a 2–3 week lead time, but delivery ended up being closer to 5 weeks and I had to chase for updates myself.
When the door finally arrived, it was damaged and the glass was missing from the delivery. The glass then arrived separately a week later and a replacement sash was arranged. Unfortunately, this is where the experience became particularly frustrating.
Over the course of resolving the damage, there were three separate failed attempts to deliver the replacement sash, with incorrect items being sent each time. When the correct replacement was finally dispatched, it was delivered on a day that I had specifically asked them not to deliver. Despite notifying the company in advance, my request was ignored and I had to arrange for someone to be available at short notice to accept the delivery.
The door is now complete and the product itself is good, which is the only reason I have not given a lower rating. However, the overall customer experience involved delays, damaged goods, missing components, multiple failed deliveries, and a significant amount of time spent chasing updates and arranging deliveries.
The company eventually refunded my delivery charge, but I felt the level of inconvenience caused throughout the process was not adequately acknowledged.
Based on my experience, I would be cautious about ordering if timing and reliable delivery are important to you.

Misleading website and unhelpful
Ordered a door without a frame - there was a check box on the site for a door without the frame (which was subsequently removed, as a frame is necessary for the type of door which I did not realise at the time). Therefore the door arrived completely wrong, and JVD were completely useless, did not offer any resolution, and threw out my chargeback claim, even though the checkbox was on their site which caused the confusion and the incorrect order.

Poor delivery
Was advised my door which was ordered 4 weeks ago would come over a 3 day delivery and in two parts on 02.06.26, first piece came on 03.06.26 - delivery man phoned at 7 AM and said he was on his way and would be there at 8 am - he then said that someone would need to help him lift it. This basically meant my husband had to go into work late as I wasn't aware it was a two person job and the delivery driver didn't have a second person. I now am none the wiser on when the rest of the door will be delivered, two emails over the past 24 hours ignored which were sent in the AM both days and tried to call but office at 4.30 but closed (closes 4pm) due to work, I am unable to call within their office hours which is why I've emailed. I just want my door!

Very poor and complicated delays client sales process
I contacted this company while getting quotes from around 5–10 other window companies at the same time, and honestly I’m so glad I didn’t go with them. Their whole process felt unprofessional and disorganised from the start.
Every other company I contacted either gave me a quote quickly or had a clear and straightforward sales process. With this company, the lady on the phone told me they were “really busy” and would get back to me with a quote. Instead of actually sending one, I just received an email asking me to go online, create an account, and log into their system. I simply didn’t have time for all of that, especially when so many other companies managed to make the process easy and professional.
Then, three days later, I received a follow-up email asking what I thought about the quote — except I had never actually received one. I replied saying I wasn’t interested because no quote had been sent. The response I got was basically insisting that they had sent it already. I asked them to send a screenshot or resend the quote, and they refused.
It honestly felt dishonest and incredibly frustrating. If a company is already this disorganised and argumentative before you even become a customer, it makes you wonder what dealing with them afterwards would be like.
Would strongly advise people to be very cautious and careful dealing with this company. Personally, I wouldn’t trust them.
