If I could give them no stars I would. I bought 5 shoe cabinets, didn’t hear anything for weeks about a delivery, I then chased this up, waited more time for a reply to find out my items were lost. They then sent replacements that arrived broken, I have tried to contact customer services for over a week now and have heard nothing back. I’m left with useless items that I spent £400 on and have no way of sorting it.

I went into the shop on Wednesday. The downstairs is so cramped it is hard to look at any of the furniture. And they have baskets without prices for cushions, only saw one youngish man on the tills downstairs but he was busy went upstairs to have a look and it makes downstairs look spacious, thankful I didn’t have my dad in his wheelchair with me because he would have had to stay near the lift in the only available space. Not accessible what so ever. Walking around upstairs I saw 3 members of the staff. I approached another gentleman who at first I thought had not heard me, but as I got closer I realised that he just was not wanting to help at all, went back to the two other staff members, they helped so at least someone did. As I went downstairs it was the same youngish man on the checkout, I’d decided against buying because I felt like they didn’t want me to. Plus upstairs was hard to tell prices, even commented with another person in there that it was hard to tell and she said I have been coming in for years and I think it must be going out of business. Not a good experience from your derby shop

Poorly Customer service, no responsibility at all. Damaged Item, delivery partner is very poor management. Refund process is impossible process.
Always get a paper receipt better still shop elsewhere
Called into JYSK to purchase a quilt cover as the old one had torn. As a pensioner I don't have much spare money saw one within my budget at £21.50 which I bought, the zip broke on it's first use, I took it back I didn't get a receipt because the transaction was on my phone. They would only give me a credit note because of it they wanted a paper receipt the other quilts were way above my budget. Disgusting practise.

Just an awful all round experience with this company, went in on 16.9 early in the morning (good job as there was signs up saying they were closing early, but that is not the problem). As I am walking around looking at the bits they have, it was just messy. Dirty floors, dust everywhere, it felt more like a charity shop then this ‘high end’ business they project online, I was shocked. To make matters even better, the two staff members that I saw were rude, and just unhelpful. An older worker with short hair walked past me, I tried to ask for help, he looked straight at me and carried on walking, it was shocking, tried to ask another worker for help, none given, just blanked again, all I wanted to know was the price of something as I could not find it, ended up looking in the website.
When I went upstairs to look at bathroom stuff, I gave up, because the bath mats looked like they had been just thrown onto a shelf and more rubbish all over the floor and just messy. It felt dirty.
Safe to say I will NOT be visiting the shop in derby again, or any other one of their shops for that matter. Never again. Appalling
Poor quality and bad service
Bought four dining chairs 5 months ago at £100 each from the Blackburn store Husband sat on one last week and it collapsed. (He is not a heavy person). I contacted their CS team who said no problem return it to the store of purchase, and we will replace or refund if they are not in stock.
Just tried to do this and the manager was awful. He accused us of abusing the chair, said we must have stood on it and flatly refused to exchange it. He made these comments even before he had fully inspected the chair. I can categorically confirm we definitely have not stood on any of them. Appalling attitude and poor quality products.

Bought the Fandrup wardrobe and this thing is so bad! The back panels are mis cut. The holes are unaligned. I’ve put it together following all the guides. Taken me hours and the thing is more crooked than parliament!
Avoid
Absolutely shocking service, bought a table which was damaged. Returned to store where the staff was extremely rude, made out we had damaged the item and basically said we had built it wrong. Theres only one way the table could have been built. They used every excuse going. Mocked my husbands autism and wouldnt help in any way.
Thought things would have improved after not using them for 10 yrs but sadly there still getting away with it. Poor quality items stay clue its just not worth the hassle, wont be making this mistake again. GRANTHAM store
Great customer service
I wanted to leave a short review to highlight the great customer service I have received from two members of staff at JYSK. While the product I received wasn’t right for my needs, the return/refund process was efficient and my emails were responded to in a friendly, timely manner by the customer service department.
Don't bother with instore, staff are obnoxious
Bought a lovely patio set, it appears well made and comfortable. However the table is not finished well amd two corners are sharp. Customer services were amazing offering straight away to replace, however I had to go and take the broken one to the store and replace. I went instore and needless to say after a very poor experience I still have my original table. I think they would like to provide good customer service, but staff instore are obnoxious and very thin on the ground.
Unsafe
I have previously visited the Derby store and found it most disappointing, blocked aisles, unsafe areas and in total disarray. I had to call in 22nd August for a click and collect. The shop looked totally different, clean and tidy, everything well stocked and generally a much nicer retail experience. As the store had had this turnaround I decided to bring my mother in for a visit this week (w/c 250825) as she has mobility issues and would struggle in it's previous state. What a bad decision.... I'm unsure what happened in the matter of days, but there were tools and ladders left unattended and the shop looked unkempt again. Such a shame, used to be a really good store to meander around.
tambourne table outdoor set
We purchased the tambourne table with corner unit and chair 2 years ago for around £2300. The table has started to show patches where the coating is peeling off and to be honest it's starting to look a mess.I contacted the customer service centre to explain what was happening but apparently they won't exchange the table or any parts of it now because it's just over 2 years old. Please don't buy this set as it won't last for over £2000 it's really bad customer service.

We ordered dinning chairs at the Warrington store. They arrived into store when they said they would yesterday 26.08.25. Went together easy and look great. They were a really good price. We had really good service from all members of staff.
We also bought a table for the garden. Really good price and that was delivered. Again good delivery price and service from the delivery guys.
We can't fault the service and goods we got. Five stars from us.
Damaged item + terrible customer service
Ordered a wardrobe - took approx two weeks to arrive and when it finally arrived, it came damaged.
Had to negotiate with a very unhelpful customer service team member to have the £50 delivery refunded... He tried to offer a gift card instead and then tried to offer a partial delivery refund (£25).
The spare part is going to take another two weeks to arrive as it's coming from Poland.
All in all, it will be about a month from when I first ordered this item until I can actually have a wardrobe.
I understand mistakes happen, but the rude, unhelpful customer service team member was the cherry on top of the cake and the reason for the 1 star review.

First class customer service
We had ordered garden chairs and cushions from the Mansfield branch. On arrival to collect we saw that the price of the cushions had dropped by £5. When we mentioned this we were immediately offered a credit note for the difference.
We then decided to buy some more different cushions which were reduced. Unfortunately they only had 3 and we wanted 4. Callum was brilliant checking 2 other stores for us and finally getting one put aside for me to collect the next day.
I have read the other 1 star reviews and can certainly say Mansfield and Callum in particular are definitely 5 star.
Maybe he should run their customer service training

What an awful experience from start to finish. Ordered wardrobes x 2 mid June, one arrived damaged approx 17 days later the driver admitted it was damaged silly me for accepting. The second wardrobe finally turned up 9 days later which was too late, hence returned. I was unable to return the damaged one as disposed pf the packaging idea was to get part replaced. Another week later that wardrobe , the good one that was returned just turned up again. Too much to say but if jysknwant to contact me feel free as far as I'm concerned I'm still £360 down and to add insult to injury they offered me £30 voucher as compensation. No one deserves to go out of business more then the cowboys jysk do.
I will add customer service in Ireland are pretty good. Shame about the rest of the outfit.

Shop was messy
Shop was messy. Looks like it is closing down, furniture is everywhere mixed in with random bits of metal (looks like some of their display pieces) just laying about for people to have to move out of the way. Had to tell my 4 year old son to put down a tool that he found left out unsupervised ontop of what looks like a piece of machinery that appears to be abandoned upstairs. In my opinion it is incredibly unsafe but if JYSK don’t care about that kind of stuff then that is their business can’t see the shop lasting long. Most of their is not priced at all or is just simply in the wrong place to even bother finding the price. Only 2 staff to be seen, one upstairs was so ill mannered and looked visibly frustrated (he clearly doesn’t like working there). Second was a younger man downstairs, he was friendly enough. Either way I would not recommend JYSK in derby. Unsafe unless you don’t mind your kids picking up tools. Messy. Rubbish in the floor and a rude man upstairs. The young lad down stairs was friendly though

Useless company - ordered table and chairs for new house, they have got no idea where they are, customer services are useless - weeks in and no table or chairs but they don’t care - avoid unless you want a big headache
