Top notch customer service!
Never had a bad customer service experience with KastKing. I bought 2 Compass travel rods and both broke during my first trip using them. Turns out there was a manufacturer defect in the batch that was received (this was during COVID where problems like this were a lot more common). I reported it to KastKing and had 2 new rods only a few days later and didn't even have to ship back my broken ones. The new rods have been perfect ever since and I use them a lot. Top notch customer service! Sometimes their customer service emails end up in the spam folder because of Gmail's filters so I always check there first. Responses always come in 24-48 hours

Always had great experiences with KastKing products and customer service. Never had a reel or tool break. Broken a couple rods by my own mistakes but KastKing (specifically Winnie in customer service) has always responded within 24 hours and replaced my rods, no questions asked, and I had a new rod in 3 days.
When a Spirale rod I ordered came in the mail broken in half, they sent out a new rod right away and again I had it in 3 days.
A few weeks ago I ordered some new TriPolymer line off the website. Apparently I caught it the second it went up for sale because the price was $0. I ordered 4 spools but only received 1. I talked to customer service and they said that the website price was a mistake but they went ahead and sent 1 to me for free instead of cancelling the whole order. I thought that my whole order was going to be cancelled the second I placed it and don't care that they didn't fulfill the whole order but it was nice of them to at least send 1 spool honoring their mistake. That's good customer service in my book!

I took a risk based on price alone.. turns out no risk at all.
I got into Kayak fishing 3 years ago after buying a used kayak from a friend. Seeing how it was right at the beginning of the pandemic and money was tight and jobs were scarce cost was an issue.
After getting used to fishing on my $30 Walmart spinning reel / rod combo, I wanted to get into baitcasting.
Knowing noting about baitcasters or even fishing gear in general. I went on Amazon and got complete sticker shock when I discovered the average cost of a baitcaster.
After doing some price shopping I came across the kastking valiant eagle baitcaster for $40.
I figured that's a price I could afford to "Loose" (Compared to $65 or more for other brands) if the quality was horrible.. It wasn't and I l loved it even though not knowing any better I was using a baitcaster on a spinning rod..
My wife being jealous of how far I could cast compared to her spinning reel, I got her the same modle baitcaster.
Now the two of us were fishing with baitcasters on spinning rods... Long story short. Three years and some research later, Between the two of us, we have 7 kastking baitcasters ( on the correct rods ) 5 Kast king rods, 1 kasking spinning reel, tackle bags, gloves,hat and even 5 pairs of kast king sunglasses.. All because of the quality, longevity ( Just like a gun or a roomba you do have to clean and oil them from time to time after heavy use), and most importantly the COST.. This is huge for two parents who have to spend most of their money on bills and kids...

I purchased a Rover 50L and the piece of crap started falling apart while I was spooling it.
The little red plastic inserts at each handle end fell off while spooling line. I reported same to KastKing and got a fairly quick response. They offered to upgrade the handle on the reel...the upgrade arrived within a few days...I spent time disassembling the old handle and the replacement didn't fit the reel. There you have it...now I'm right where I started. I'm done.

Terrible Quality/And they don't want u to know it
I was pretty happy with this reel at first. However after only a few months of use the rotor already has a groove in it from the fishing line and it is rusting and I only fish in freshwater. Meaning that groove will inflict severe wear on the line and possibly even cut the line when fighting A fish. Obviously the rotors are not chromed or hardened as the well made spincast reels from the 60s and 70s were. And these Brutus reels are way to expensive to be a disposable one year reel.
Plus I contacted the manufacturer and Even though my reel is less than a year old they would not honor the 1 year warranty because I didn't order it from Kastking.
UPDATE,, Now Kastking contacted this Trustpilot site and are claiming I am lying about my experience and I made up the review so Trustpilot will take it down. That's so typical of a company that doesn't want anyone to know the truth. I have waaayyy more better things to do than sit around making up false reviews. That's so Communist like of this company. Squash the truth. So typical. I just hope I have reached thousands about the rotor issue. I know spincast reels like nobody else. 50 years of collecting and fishing with them. You should see my collection of vintage Spincast reels. I love taking them apart and studying how they are made. I probably have one of the largest collections in the United States.
Also notice the replied saying contact us. I have had at least 4 conversations with Kastking, the results are the same each time. Because I bought the reel from eBay brand new they won't honor the warranty.... Which is a minor issue. The main issue is they will not admit to a problem with the rotor durability.

Horrific Customer Service - The Worst...Ever
I gave a 2 because their baitcasting reels are incredible and I own 6 of them - love all of them. My rating is for their customer service which is hands down the worst experience I've ever had...ever. They farm it out to China and communication is difficult with the language barrier. I needed new knobs and asked them for help since they don't have them on their website...after 5 emails back and forth (no one answers their phones) I gave up and ordered generic from amazon. So sad, because I love their baitcasting reels but will never order from them again because of their horrific customer service.

I ordered a kast king spinning reel and never recieved it. The company refused to respond to my 4 emails asking for a refund. Customer service is awful. Imagine if you have a problem with a reel? May as well throw it in the trash because kast king won't help you. I will make sure all the fisherman fishing our trail knows to avoid kast king.

Have bought several spinning reels
Have bought several spinning reels, pliers, landing net, braided line and flurocarbon line. No concerns. All well made. Oldest of my reels is several years old, still working well. Had an issue with one reel, a part came loose, customer service was great, sent me a spare part with no charge.

I have to agree with others
I have to agree with others. Customer Service is horrible. No answer to email. No answer to phone. Product is lost in transit and nobody at KastKing is available to help. I won't buy anything from this company again.

Customer service is terrible 3 days between email responses. If you call DURING their hours of operation it goes to voicemail saying there’s no one in the office. Reel is crap came broken. Now I have to wait another month to get a replacement. Kastking is not a reliable company don’t buy from them.

Terrible Customer Service
I order a couple reels and some fishing line. The fishing line was not in stock so kastking has amazon fulfill the order. I received the reels but have not received the fishing line. When I contacted kastking I was told to contact USPS to see what the problem was with the delivery, when I contacted them they told me that had not received the product from the amazon facility yet so there was nothing they could do and I needed to contact amazon. When I contacted amazon they said there was nothing they could do because the order was purchased from a third party and I needed to contact kastking because that’s who I ordered the fishing line from. So now I have been messaging kastking trying to figure out where my items are because I have already be charged for them but I am not getting anywhere. So I tried calling them, the line says they are open 830am-530am EST I have been calling at noon CST so they should be open and able to answer the phones but no one is answering.
The Blackhawk 8 foot Telescopic Spinning Rod
I use The Blackhawk 8 foot Telescopic rod combined with the speed demon 3000 reel loaded with kastking 15 lb braid.
I mainly fish for Bass and Mullet in the summer and flatfish in the winter.
I totally recommend this company’s tackle to any light fishing enthusiast out there.
This gear is Affordable,strong,light and the reel is very smooth and does everything I expect from it.
