Plastic Junk

I purchased five (5) of the so called “mineral” mugs from Kelansu. What you receive looks like a cheap painted resin mug with none of the color or detail of the mugs shown in the pictures that you make buying decisions from. Anyone who buys this product will feel mislead at a minimum.

Ordered a mug that was supposed to be made of stone. Completely made of plastic och badly painted.

I ordered a prelit outdoor urn greenery with pine cones and what I received was a mess. It was not prelit and had pinecones that fell off when I opened the display. It came wrapped in plastic and stuck in my mailbox. It cost me $47.

When I contacted Kelansu, they offered me 15% off to keep it. I refused it and now they want me to return it to China at my expense for a refund. That is not happening. I have opened a dispute with my credit card. I have a Chase credit card and they are wonderful!

DO NOT BUY THESE MUGS!
They are completely made of plastic and are unbelievably cheap looking. They are not real stone! They are awful!
This is really criminal!!! It is a total scam!

Ordered 2 quartz tea cups. Got two regular glases. Notified them. They offered a small discount. Amazon has same product for a third of the price. After four communications, the haert of their sucessful business, I am being told they are not available, out of materials. I guess all the rocks on earth have been used up... However, they still have the same glass for sale sale on their website. Have to write this experience off as buyer beware. The ethics of some can be frustrating.

If you send American money to China, you deserve to get ripped off !

They should be sued beyond redemption

I ordered two mugs that are supposedly created with stone. When they arrived, one looked like it was made of plastic, and the other mug has a sharp piece of the material sticking up on the rim. That sharp piece can actually cut your lip. I paid $66.00 for them and the company will not refund my money untill I ship them back to China at my own expense. The shipping costs run from $46.50 to $121.00. Otherwise they offered me 15% to 50% refund if I don't return them even though they are not usable and need to be thrown away. Especially the one with the sharp edge sticking up on the rim. I have photos to prove my side of the events.

I placed an order. They said they delivered it but, if they in fact did deliver something (which I doubt) it certainly was not to my house. I asked for a replacement delivery or a refund and they completely hassled me. 18 emails later, they are asking me to prove that I did not receive their package (which I did several times). It's a $70 order and now, it is principle.

Do NOT order from this company. Ever.

Like other reviewers, we saw the beautiful pictures of mugs and the descriptions - "carved from jasper or ... agate" and ordered. The mugs we received are poorly painted, cast plastic and still stink of off-gassing from the polymer cure. There are gaps between the metal inserts and the shell that would make these hard to keep clean and sanitary if one could use them for beverages.
Instructions on the web page say to click on the order for return instructions, but there is no link to returns from the order. I emailed Kelansu for return instructions and received a response from 'Mary', including the offer of a 15% credit for me to just to keep the mugs. Although the email noted the return process in detail and the importance of shipping returns to their returns address, no address was noted in the email. I replied to the email, requesting the returns address. We'll see how this goes.
UPDATE 1/1/2025: I received the return address - in China - and an increased offer of 20%. Checking the postal rates, it looked like return shipping would cost $80-$100. Since the vendor wanted me to pay $80+ to return a product different from the one I ordered, I instead filed a charge dispute with my card issuer. For now, I have a credit. We'll see how Kelansu responds, but they have until sometime in February.

--Update 2/14/2025--
Based on vendor's response, my card issuer reversed my credit, but gave me a chance to respond. I detailed the experience with comparison photos of what I received vs. the product descriptions on the web site. After reviewing my info with the vendor, the card issuer reversed their decision and made the credit to my account permanent. I'm only out my time and trouble - I do still have some trashy plastic mugs to dispose of
BTW, these items, with identical photos and mostly identical descriptions, are offered on a number of other web sites, including Amazon.

I wish there’s a less than 1 score. I was astonished at how cheap these things are. And calling them coffee mugs is a joke. I opened the box and threw them in the trash. Lesson learned. I will look for reviews before buying off internet.

I ordered two cut mineral mugs. They advertise them as genuine mineral stone hand cut. What I have received is plastic and poorly painted junk! Now I am finding there is no contacting them or a way to return for a refund. Warning!!! SCAM alert

I ordered a crystal mug as a Christmas gift, and it looks nothing like the mugs on the website. It’s so cheap and ugly.

I rate Kelansu as a minus 10. I received my order 12-9-24. These 'cups' are advertised as being made of Agate, Crystals, or Minerals. They are nothing but colored Fiberglass with a stainless steel liner. TOTALLY WORTHLESS SCAM. If you have already ordered from them, call your state attorney general and have them file a Class Action Lawsuit. If you haven't ordered from them, DON'T !! Another Chinese ripoff.

I ordered the crystal mug with read crystal and Geo's for decoration. The cup I received is a baby cup with metal inside and PLASTIC on the outside. I paid $35.00 for this mug and I wouldn't give it to a child----it's so very cheap.

This is the worst company and such a scam. We ordered a crystal mug and it was a plastic small mug unusable and definitely nothing like the picture. The company is the worst to try to return things and get a refund. Definitely not a legitimate company do not order from here. They are scammers of the worst kin!!!

They deserve a negative star . That’s a scam. That’s horrible . It’s a total scam. I also felt for the crystal mugs advertised as natural, mineral , exclusive gift and bought 4 for my family and it is garbage. I paid $125.00 dollars for all of them and I wouldn’t give it to anyone. Made with resin and badly painted. I hope they regret the money they get from people that work hard.

Zudem handelt es sich um das falsche Produkt und Sie haben nach aktueller Rechtslage die Rücksendekosten zu tragen.

Die von Ihnen gelieferte Kaffeetasse soll aus natürlichem Mineralglas sein und Kristallen und Steinen wie Amethyst, Quarz und Achat.
Der Becher soll bis 480ml Flüssigkeit tragen können, ca. 600g schwer sein und die entsprechenden Farben, siehe Bild haben.

Das gelieferte Produkt ist:
Aus Plastik (schwimmt sogar in Wasser) mit einem eingesetzten Metallbecher und kann eine Flüssigkeitsmenge von 150ml fassen. Das Gewicht beträgt 250g.

Info: Die Rücksendekosten sind bei ca. 20€, da das Produkt aus China kommt. Die Kosten sind laut AGB der Firma vom Kunden zu tragen. Es bringt also nichts, die Ware zurückzugeben um das Geld (bei mir ca.30€) wieder zu bekommen. Wer macht das schon. Die Firma legt es gezielt darauf an, dass die Kunden die Ware behalten, weil die Rücksendung so teuer ist.
Übrigens habe ich das Geld wieder bekommen, da der Fall an PayPal von mir gemeldet wurde.
