Great pricing model
I got a fair quote and I really appreciate the pricing model, the less you drive - the less you pay. The Odometer plugin was easy to install and the app setup was friendly as well. Looking FW to seeing the EOM total :-)

Great experience so far in purchase and install
Website had very clear explanation of what is covered and how it works. The only thing i had to dig deeper to find out was how the Koba Rider worked in terms of tech. Finaly found somewhere deep that the device uses a telco sim.

Phone app setup missing in action
After receiving my data logging device I realised I have no way to check my kilometres- apparently this is what the phone app does. I downloaded it but there’s no account details provided to use it!
Customers are left to hack their way in or contact the call centre for a pleas explain.
This is far from ideal and I would consider this a basic setup step which is MIA.

Sometimes this might land in your spam / promotions folder; regardless though, your experience is certainly not ideal and one we don't want to repeat. Koba is redefining how the modern day…
Koba is redefining how the modern day “flexi” insurance should be. They do exactly what has been promised for and maybe beyond that. Starting from the amazing app, to whoever came up with that simple device connected to the car’s obd.
Way to go Koba, I am the biggest fan of the kind of technology you are trying to implement in the car insurance industry. There will be many who will try to follow you a few years down the lane but I am sure by that time you would have implemented even better technology than many can even think.
I hope the insurance side of things are as good as your technology and many congratulations for implementing this so successfully and seamlessly in Australia.

Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service, all questions thrown at them answered clearly and easy to understand. More than happy to recommend for a low km vehicle. I will be saving around $500 per year compared to my old policy.

A great transparent low km policy option!
Finally a car insurer whom offers a policy on the low kms that I actually drive. I'm a working mum whose car trips during the week are the odd school runs then mostly short trips on the weekend so this insurance model works great for me! I love how the app shows how much I pay for each trip and the customer service is genuine and a pleasure to deal with if you have any issues to resolve.

Amazing for low km usage
I love the idea of pay per km usage. During the pandemic lot of people were not driving cars still they all paid for insurance.
I feel Koba’s pay per km is a much better value for money.
