Worst service ever…
The service we have received from Kresta is well below what would be considered the minimum requirement. The wrong product was recommended, incorrect measurements were taken, the installation was incorrect and needed rework, the rude manner of the service manager and inappropriate behaviour of her was mind boggling, the promise of the contact from the sales representative after all the issues were assessed that never happened. I will never use nor recommend this company ever again.
Customer service Reveiw
Booked an appointment then was phoned to say we have you double booked .you can we change appointment date ?I agreed. Day of next appointment get a txt message asking to reschedule appointment. ?Not happy. As I had taken both days off work to make appointment. Was organised. Very poor. Service. From kresta sunshine coast Qld. Now have to find another blind company to come out. Do better kresta customer service is critical in Retail. What brings customers back communication is key. Making appointments unable to attend doesn't help. We understand things happen look at future calanders to put into place and staff Rostering communication with your team is critical. Property damaged by installer. Customer care useless.
The installer damaged both our wall (drilling a hole into the wrong spot and having to then redrill in the correct spot) and our furniture (took a chunk out of it with his ladder) during installation. Customer care were no help and suggested we buy a wood crayon to colour in the chunk missing from our furniture...
Faulty installation. No acknowledgement or responsibility
Product incorrectly installed which means I cannot close my window without a blind falling down. So -called Customer Service was a dead end, refusing to acknowledge the blatantly misfitted bracket causing the problem . Now I have to either leave my window open to a busy street or never open it at all. I will have to pay someone to refit the blinds because Kresta says there is no problem with the installation, end of story. What a terrible, unprofessional company.
Incorrect rail & non-existent after sales support?
I recently ordered curtains & sheers for my office & after choosing the fabrics & explaining to the KRESTA representative what we wanted the curtain configuration to look like & specifically the rail ( we also physically showed her the other rails installed as an example) She agreed they would be the same. Now that the products have arrived the rail system is wrong & 15cm too short on one of the rails ? We tried to escalate the matter in an appropriate way but no one actually answers the complains line? ( I tried over a few days ) In pure desperation I selected account’s on their automated phone system & it was answered. They said they would escalate the matter if I mailed them the details with pictures which I did. Its been weeks now & absolutely nothing? Very sad for what seems like a well made product, but with no ownership of a clear mistake I honestly can’t recommend KRESTA & will personally never use them again.
Terrible Customer Service
I purchased curtains, which were not cheap. I wish I checked the reviews for this company before I decided to purchase from them. The Sales person was quick and efficient and the installers were also fine but when I reported a fault with my curtains a few days later to customer service, nobody wants to know! They totally ignore you. After I contacted many people in the organisation, who did not help and said someone would call me back, I finally received a call from Doug, who I believe is the NSW manager. He asked for further photos, which I emailed him the same day (18 June). As I didn't hear from him I followed up on 3 July. I have not received a reply to date and today is 13 of July. STAY AWAY FROM KRESTA CURTAINS AND BLINDS!
Upsetting customer experience
I was very excited when I ordered the blinds and was even convinced by the sales person to upgrade the fabric after a small discount. They were never the cheapest but they seemed very professional. Boy was I wrong. We bought 3 blinds each 250 drop and around 240 width, motorized with a remote and a hub. After spending two sessions with the designer\sales person and coming up with our desired set up I waited 8 weeks for installation (as agreed). The installer arrived to install the product but had no idea about the designed setup, nor did he get any of the instructions right. After creating damage in the ceiling due to wrong installation I corrected him and he finally got it right. Immediately after installing the blinds make a strong clicking sounds when in operation. I reported to the team in Kresta both about the damage to the ceiling and the noise. They decided to send another technician (earliest appointment within 8 weeks) when he arrived he explained that he needs more parts which he didn't have. I waited another 8 weeks for the technicians availability (again) and this time he came and said I don't know what the problem is. I've been trying to call Kresta, email and even involved the sales person - suddenly they all disappeared. There is definitely a manufacturing problem with the products and currently feels like a scam. for a frustrating free experience I would avoid Kresta.
Product is good but the customer…
Product is good but the customer service is appalling. The communication was terrible. I was charged an extra $70 on the day because I was supposed to know that taking window coverings down meant the tracks as well. I felt backed up against a wall because the fitter was already onsite and unless I paid an extra $10 per window on the spot the install would not proceed. A small value but to me it’s the principle that counts. The last on the phone was rude and no one would take accountability for not giving clear instructions in the first instance. I paid, (I had no other options) they took the tracks down and left the rubbish behind.
WARNING
WARNING, they are a nightmare. Measured incorrectly and then installed them damaging the walls. Blinds were short by 50mm. Took months to get them to remeasure and 13 emails so far and 4 months later still waiting for my blinds.
Dealing with Amelia from Customer Care is fruitless. She has nothing but excuses, does not care and can never give a direct answer.
Amelia is useless in the role of Customer Care as she has nothing to offer in fixing issues or being capable to tell you when the blinds will arrive.
Worst of all Kresta insisted on full payment prior.
They and customer care are exceedingly frustrating .
Keep your sanity and save your money and just do not go near Kresta Blinds
The very worst customer experiences
Just the worst experience. Luckily my poor customer experience was with the measure and quote. I wanted blinds for every room. But the sales consultant was rude and abrasive and then failed to turn up. When I reported the poor customer experience, we were told we were stuck with him. I went with the competition. Brilliant experience!!!

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM KRESTA BLINDS – ABSOLUTELY APPALLING EXPERIENCE
I honestly don't know how this company is still in business. Our experience with Kresta Blinds has been nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish.
We placed our order and our blinds were delivered and installed in February 2024.
When they showed up, two of the blinds had visible marks and had to be reordered and replaced. Another blind didn’t even align properly with the one next to it. More delays. More waiting. And of course, everything had to be shipped from China, adding more time.
We were told by the sales rep – and we have the email proof – that one motor would be more than sufficient to operate the large living room blind. Surprise surprise: by February 2025, the motor had already failed.
We had to pay an $83.00 service fee, even though the product was still under warranty. After pushing to get someone out, a technician finally came on the 27th of March (weeks after the service was booked). His assessment? Not only did the blind require a second person to help remove it without damage, but there should have been two motors installed to begin with!
Despite endless calls and emails, we were just told they can’t come out to fix it until the 5th of May. That means our living room has had no natural light for over 3 months because the blinds are stuck in the closed position.
So to sum it up: incompetent advice, defective products, absurd delays, horrific customer service, and a warranty that’s basically meaningless.
Kresta has wasted our time, our money, and our patience. If you value any of those things, stay far, far away from this company.

Sales person was exellent and went out an beyond the ither companies I had do a quote.
My curtains were installed and perfectly.
They look 100% perfect.
My roller blinds I couldnt be happier with too.
Installed on time and with exellence.
I see other negative reviews here and they seem to be leaving things out to make their story seem legitimate.
Shame on those people.

13 February 2025 - Measure & quote done, deposit paid and order placed.
WE WERE TOLD BY BEV HEARN, THE MEASURE & QUOTE LADY, “THAT OUR BLINDS WOULD BE 5 TO 6 WEEKS MAXIMUM, SHE SAID SHE WOULD MARK THE ORDER AS PRIORITY/URGENT AND THE BLINDS WOULD PROBABLY BE READY IN LESS TIME.”
31 March 2025 - We phoned Kresta to enquire why we had not heard from you regarding an installation date. The lady we spoke with advised the estimated installation date was between 7 to 14 April. We advised this was not what we had been told at the time of ordering and requested a phone call back from someone in authority who can advise more detail regarding our order & delay with installation. She advised the Manager was in Adelaide and would phone us back. NO return phone call was received.
31 March 2025 - Shortly after the above phone call, we received an email from Kresta Cannington advising our installation date was 25 April. We phoned Kresta Cannington regarding this advice and advised our installation was promised to be 5 to 6 weeks from the measure & quote as we ordered & paid the deposit on that day 13 February. Sue at Kresta Cannington would not provide further information on the delay, when we requested to know the current location of the blinds, Sue advised “on a wharf somewhere”. She did not know if this was in Western Australia or an overseas country which she would not advise us what country the blinds are manufactured in.

The worst customer service ever
The estimator recommended that we get box pleats on our sheers that were to sit in a ceiling recess into 3 bedrooms. This was the most expensive option. 8 weeks later they came to fit and the curtain did not fit into the recess. We were then recommended pinch pleats. Another 8 weeks later and the curtains were fitted and looked terrible. They were also too long. The fitter advised us not to accept this. Another 8 weeks went past and pinch pleats with more regular sewing were delivered. These were too short and because of the length of the curtains they needed a weight at the bottom which was asked for but missing. Another 10 weeks and curtains were supplied to fit. 2 rooms were ok but the master bedroom was too long again. They agreed to alter it locally - not in China. Curtains returned again after 3 weeks but they had forgotten to put the weights back in. At this point I asked for a refund of the one curtain. This saga started in November 2022 and I asked for the refund in October 2023. They have ignored all my calls and requests to address the situation. I would Not recommend Krista.
Poor service/ poor execution/ zero communication
All curtains were too long and it is a very long wait for replacements as they come from China. The pull down blind broke on day 1 as it was too heavy and needed a spring on the winder. This of course cost extra.
Noone in the customer service will answer their phone, nor will the national managers return my request to speak. They won't even give out their email or phone number. Staff in the showroom have been helpful.
Poor communication & service
Extremely poor communication, difficult to get in touch with them via phone call or email. On top of that, we got a poor recommendation from the guy who came out to quote and then to replace the poorly fitted, blinds he recommended, has taken more than 6 months.
Would never use Kresta again.

I ordered shutters and a blind as part of a major renovation of a unit before I became aware that Strata processes with the associated bylaw registration requirements can take months. I paid half the total as a deposit. When the products had been manufactured Kresta called me regularly to pressure me to get the products installed even though I explained that the other work has to be done first and that I would let them know as soon as I am ready. Now they say you only have 3 months to get the goods installed or you have to pay in full (its in the contract). If I pay in full prior to installation I have no leverage if they are not installed properly. I do not recommend using Kresta if you need to get strata approval for other work prior. The time strata approval takes was outside my control. Surely they could take the customers situation into account as well as their own!
Poor service, product not properly installed
Kresta measured the blinds incorrectly. Supplied and fitted 2/4 blinds and left clips on the others where the blinds didnt fit. They said they would come back with replacement blinds. 6 months later we have nothing. We attempted to contact them several times and they did not respond. We went to Fair Trading. They told Fair Trading they would contact us to fix the problem. A month later...nothing.

11/11/24 - order placed, deposit paid. Informed curtains would be in by Christmas.
12/12/24 - recieved email stating order had been sent to the factory, and would be installed mid- January. I called the office and said I was told by Xmas. They informed me the cut off date was in October. I advised I had no curtains hanging, and was very displeased with the misleading information provided on ordering. I was advised that I would recieve a call to follow up on my complaint - no call recieved.
5/12/24 - another email recieved from Kresta advising my order would arrive in approx 6 weeks. I again responded saying I had made a complaint and had not recieved any communication from Kresta.
23/01/25 - curtains finally installed. Further email sent to Kresta asking to escalate my complaint regarding misleading information on ordering.
28/01/25 - phone call recieved from Kresta. The employee stated she wasn't there for the conversation during ordering, so can't be sure what I was informed and that she would have to follow up. I said I was surprised that this is only now being looked at, and the communication from Kresta was appalling. I recieved an insincere apology, and told "I don't know what you want from this".
I highly recommend spending your money with another company that will provide accurate ordering processes and information and hopefully you don't ever need a complaint process with Kresta because unfortunately they are completely incompetent.
Cheap for a reason
Cheap for a reason, do not buy anything from this company. Does not even deserve 1 star. Salesperson was ok but everything went downhill afterwards. Shop assistant was unwilling to help with final fabric and track selection as the sales belong to the salesperson! Took a bit longer to deliver but the nightmare starts with installation. First time, the installer called at the last minute that he can't do it due to the previous job took a lot longer to install. Second time, my product was placed at the back of their warehouse so the installer could not get the products out. Third time, installer finanly came with my product but the warehouse guy took off the bracket so can not be installed. Now waiting for the fourth time this Saturday.... Very unprofessional company and do not buy from them.
