Awful Wynstan service
Ordered flyscreens in January 2026, July 2026 still not done, and this is with me chasing them, if you don't chase I reckon your product will never turn up. Flyscreens were not measured correctly and did not fit, had to go back to factory, installer makes an appointment and does not turn up. Customer support hopeless, worst company I have ever dealt with.

Warning! Don’t order any blinds, security doors etc through this incompetent company unless you’re prepared to experience nothing short of an expensive, time wasting headache! I can now see why they have such bad reviews. I had a security door that I paid a lot of money for that was due for installation last Saturday. Their installer was rude, his attitude and his passive aggressive behaviours from the start were in an effort to make me feel bad or a trouble for even being there. It only got worse when I politely asked him to be careful of my freshly painted walls). Instead of just saying “yes, of course, no problems” (like other tradesmen have recently said) he began to lecture me & then state it would be better to relocate my job! I’ve never experienced such poor behaviour. I was annoyed because I wanted the door installed, but I didn’t feel safe with this bloke in my home so I agreed he should leave. As soon as he left my house I made a phone call complaint to a Wynstan office but was informed complaints department is closed and I was told by the woman on reception that they would ensure my installation would be prioritised and their complaints department would follow up with me. It took until 2 days later (which is slow after the incident that occurred) to hear from a manager (who also sounded like he didn’t really care) who informed that he needed to wait for the door to be returned (to somewhere) before he could rebook my installation. Such an inadequate response that he couldn’t even book me in whilst waiting for the door to be dropped off! This only further concerned me that my door is possibly being damaged as it’s driving around in a van all over the countryside. My view is it should’ve been booked immediately for reinstallation. The situation only now further worsened today given I received an email from this company saying that it would take 2.5 weeks to install my door… this is after an incident occurred by their installer that has left me disadvantaged! Then they had the nerve to remind me that I owe the balance with no compensation offered and no speedy installation to remedy their failure to get my door properly installed & in a timely way. I’m now reporting this negligent company to consumer affairs. None of their flash ads on TV mean a thing when they treat customers like this
***UPDATE: in response to my complaint they continue to draw the issue out- NO IMMEDIATE reinstallation date has been arranged by them, no small offer of compensation for the stress & headache they caused me- not withstanding leaving me with my house without a security door (no care also for my safety)- nope it’s all too hard for this company!
* update 1/07: firstly the manager lied to me about a reinstallation date and now he’s calling me when I’ve asked 3 or 4 times that they not call me and only communicate via email. There’s a lot of miscommunication within this company.

I got a quote from Wynstan after the wonderful job they did for my daughter's new home.
I was very happy with the sheers and remote blind that I ordered. However our bedroom blind was incorrectly measured & we had to wait for it to be re made & installed. Also, I was not happy with the result of our front door blind; as it didn't fully cover the window as I was lead to believe. And certainly didn't cover it like my previous timber blind did. In hindsight I would have been better off tinting the window instead; which I may still have to do for privacy. Bruce was to get back to me after reporting my concerns to the company; but I never heard back from him. A shame too, as I had already referred Bruce to a friend of mine who also ended up having problems.
Tad disappointed in the service. The installer Daniel was great though.

Security screens
Each step had great communication and efficiency. Quotes done very professionally, installation of security screens done exactly when predicted. Product completion exceeded expectation in quality and look fantastic.

We recently had Crimsafe security doors…
We recently had Crimsafe security doors and flyscreens installed, and we are extremely pleased with the result. Karl did an excellent job throughout the entire process. His workmanship was professional, attention to detail was outstanding, and the installation was completed to a very high standard.
The quality of the Crimsafe doors and flyscreens is fantastic, providing both security and a great appearance for the home. Karl was reliable, friendly, and ensured everything was completed perfectly.
We are very happy with the service, quality, and overall experience, and would highly recommend Karl and the team to anyone considering security doors or flyscreens.

Approximately 1 week of the blind being…
Approximately 1 week of the blind being hung and the blind clutch is broken - previous Wynstan blind clutch also broke within 9 months.
Blind has fallen off the room caused damage to my walls and floor.
Emailed Wynstan and NO REPLY!
EXTREMELY poor quality DO NOT BUY BLINDS HERE!!!
Email send to Wynstan elsternwick sent 16th June - NO REPLY. These blinds are one week old. No one has advised of anything - LYING COMPANY

I do not actually remember the date of my experience with Wynstan Blinds and Awnings, it may have been around the 28 April 2026. It was easy to book and make appointments with Wynstan Blinds and Awnings. Sales and shop staff, were always very friendly and polite. Fitters and tradesmen were always very friendly and polite, and fitters and tradesmen always cleaned up after the job was completed. Overall, am extremely good result, and I am very happy with the work done. Thank you Wynstan!
