Nice looking razor , well made , a little heavy was my first impression I will persevere and see if I can get use to it , I have a beard and use the razor for my neck only .

First Switch to Single Blade…
Easy to navigate website with some useful shaving tips when transitioning to single blade razor.
Items arrived when they said they would and were beautifully packaged.
My bathroom cabinet now looks like I have a real premium set of shaving products.
Have used once so far and does take a little bit of getting used to, but it did leave me with a real smooth, clean finish.
The trickiest area to shave was under the nose and around the mouth, which I hadn’t really considered before and would be interested to know if there are any tips available on how to reach the really difficult area under the nose.
I’ve always been able to perform a real close shave without any razor burn or skin irritation and wanted to give the single blade shaving a try to see how much of a difference it would make, plus it works out cheaper and more environmentally friendly. Jury is still out for me but as I bought the introduction set, I have almost a year’s worth of blades, so plenty of time to get used to them. But if you were to ask me now, if I am going to make the permanent switch, I’d have to give an honest, but non-committal, “not sure”.
Will definitely be using the brush and shaving soap permanently now though. Would’ve been useful if there was a soap dish provided for the shaving soap bar

Glad to hear the packaging and setup made a good first impression. You’re right — under the nose can be one of the trickiest spots. A tip that helps is to stretch the top lip down slightly to create a flatter surface. Some people also find doing that area last, when the lather has softened the hairs further, makes it easier.
It sounds like you’re approaching it exactly the right way — giving yourself time to adjust and seeing how it feels over a few months. Delighted you’re enjoying the brush and soap, and thank you for the note on a dish - we've a new dish in the works so keep an eye out!

Brilliant razor
Bought this razor because of the cost of new cartridges for my old multi blade one. Took a couple of weeks to get used to and had a couple of nicks round my ankles. It now gives me a much better shave and far less razor burn.

Too many nicks & cuts
Too many nicks & cuts. Good close shave on cheeks but jawline causes a problem. Have reverted to Gillette etc for under nose, jawline and neck to prevent further blood loss.

Thanks for the honest feedback - sorry to hear you’ve had nicks on the jawline and neck. A few tips that reliably help that area:
- Pull the skin taut. It makes the jawline and neck sit flatter so the blade glides rather than catches.
- Use a shallow blade angle (about 30°) and very light pressure, let the razor’s weight do the work.
- Take short, controlled strokes rather than trying long sweeps.
- For the under-nose area, tilt the head slightly whilst keeping the skin pulled down.
Switching to a safety razor is a bit of an adjustment in technique, but can pay dividends in the long-run. We'd really like to assist to make sure you're getting the most out of your razor - do get in touch if you have further thoughts or questions.

Beautifully constructed razor
Beautifully constructed razor and gives an excellent shave. I switched to Kronos because I was tired of banging my Harry's razor on the sink to clean it (thereby knocking the lubricating strip off!), The Kronos is a single blade and is very easy to clean after a superb shave.

A notable improvement on cartridges
I had multi blade cartridge razors for years on a subscription. The quality of the razors initially were fantastic but did decline unfortunately, and the razors clogged on the first shave. Increasingly, my skin was irritated. When I heard about single safety blades, I was sceptical because all my life I’ve been conditioned to believe that multi was better, but given my skin irritation only seemed to get worse, I figured it was worth a trial. It has improved my shaving experience significantly. Far less tug on longer hairs, a smoother finish and almost no razor burn. Because the blade doesn’t clog as easily (and if it does, loosen the handle and swish the head in water), I’m spending less time shaving now too. Well worth the investment for any sceptic.

Quality product
It took a little getting used to and I have to shave more frequently, but I really like the quality of the product, the low cost of replacement blades and I am far happier not throwing more plastic away/into recycling.

I changed to Kronos from Harry's
I changed to Kronos from Harry's as the cost was rising on the cartridges. I've been very pleasantly surprised by the Kronos razor, it's a great looking sleek design that looks fantastic in our bathroom. The blades that come with it are very sharp and provide a very close shave. It takes a bit of getting used to and I have had some cuts which I wasn't used to but after a few shaves I now have confidence using it. I also shave my head with it and it is just as good up there. Would 100% recommend these to anyone, if nothing else, for the savings.

Thanks for your honesty - I’m sorry to hear it didn’t go well.
A safety razor can reduce razor rash, but it does need a change in technique, especially if you’re coming from multi-blade cartridges. Often, issues come down to blade angle or pressure. With a safety razor, the blade should glide with almost no pressure - just the weight of the handle.
We typically suggest these tips:
1. Avoid applying excessive pressure. Use short, gentle strokes, let the weight of the razor do the work.
2. Pull the skin taught as you shave. Use a 30 degree angle.
3. Take your time, especially if you are new to using a safety razor.
We understand that safety razor shaving isn't for everyone. Many people find safety razors to be an adjustment from what they're used to, but typically customers report that after a couple of shaves, the technique becomes natural.

Changed to Kronos safety razor as fed up with the price of cartridge razors and disposables. With the correct blades the Kronos gives a very good shave, but you can't rush in the same way you can cartridge type. The other big issue are the blades, the Kronos supplied ones were fine, but when tried some I had that a lodger had left behind (Lord) that blade choice is important.

You’re absolutely right - a safety razor does need a slower, more considered approach compared to cartridges. But in return, you get better control and less irritation.

Kronos....take your time
After using a generic quite heavy safety razor and getting fair results i knew there was a better solution somewhere out there. luckily i saw an advert for kronos. good price, stylish appearance and a stand! Just the razor i was looking for. after a very short wait for delivery it arrived. not really just a box, more of a presentation case. A very sleek, and stylish, razor. Standing in front of the mirror took the razor out and prepared for my first shave, of course kronos provided a blade in the case. easy to install. The razor feels well balanced with a bit of weight but not overly so. Rounded edges to the razor make a big difference to nicks and cuts like I had before. take your time, no rushing! enjoy shaving again like I do
