Well made product
Well made product. Uses double edge blades which have been around for decades and do the job. Try different brands of double edge blades till you find the right one .

Good saftey razor
Razor bumps and ingrown hairs have been slowly going away. Much better than a normal cartridge razor, and the blades arent too expensive to buy monthly.

Very well priced quality
Very well priced, quickly delivered high quality razor. After years using lots of the newer multiple blade types, it’s back to basics with a simple but elegant design with welcome precision, solid feel and a high end look (chrome handle and stand).
This is the type my old man stuck to for years and it’s easy to see why - once you have the angle and confidence done, it’s a breeze.
For the £ this is spot on and the replacement blades are a massive saving on the multi blade cartridge types.

First time using a safety razor and I couldn’t be happier with my choice.
The shopping experience was smooth, and the razor itself feels solid, well-balanced, and high-quality. Excellent build at a fair price. Switching to a safety razor has been a game changer for me. Not for Me!
I tried the Kronos double edged razor, but unfortunately it wasn't for me. The support staff were fantastic and helpful when I returned my product. I am giving 4 stars for customer service as they were very helpful.

Good value razor
The razor is very well made and represents good value for money. I personally would have preferred a thicker handle. If care is taken a good close shave can be obtained. I would, however, suggest using a different razor blade to the one supplied with the razor which I think is just about the worst I have ever used. It struggled to cut normal growth and left me with a very sore face.

I'm sorry to hear the included blade didn’t work well for you. We upgraded our blades this year to be sharper (they are currently a rating between 10 & 15N).
Blade preference can vary significantly by skin type and hair coarseness, so it’s not uncommon for users to find better results with a different brand. The beauty of DE shaving is that this is always an option if a particular blade isn't to your preference.

Great alternative to the average razor
Great quality razor, very good material and nice weight. Shave is good, took me a little while to get used to it without cuts but once you get the hang of it (light touch, let the weight of the razor do the work) it's much more comfortable than a multi-blade one. No awkward bumps or irritation either!

I’m sorry to have to tell you my…
I’m sorry to have to tell you my husband has not had a good experience with your product. He is happy to admit it could be because his hand isn’t as steady as a younger man( he is 87!) but his poor face is sore and stinging after a few shaves now and he has had to abandon it.

First time user of single blade razor.
Never tried this kid of razor before, always used cartridge type one. To be honest it's much easier than I thought. It takes more time to shave, but I guess over time it won't make much of a difference. Shave is nice and smooth, no irritation after shave and in general it is a very pleasant experience. On top of that blades are super cheap. You can get 100pack for £6 that last for over a year.

Unfortunately not for me. Haven’t cut myself as much as have done in the last ten years as have done using this razor. Glad I gave it a try but I will carry using my Gillette

Using a safety razor can be quite an adjustment in technique. If you're getting cuts, I would say the most important thing is to not apply pressure. We suggest the following tips:

An upgraded shave
Shopping experience was good. Arrived in the specified time and the quality of the razor is top notch. Good weight and feels well balanced. I will say I’m no expert in the safety razor field this being my first, however the shaving experience felt natural and the quality of the shave excellent. I will try out some other blade manufacturers before deciding if the Kronos supplied blades are the ones for me, but nearly two weeks in and still gives a comfortable close shave.

If this is your first safety razor then…
If this is your first safety razor then it’s worth noting it takes some getting used to. But I have been using for three weeks now and my skin feels so much better than it ever has done when using a 3/5 blade cartridge. It’s worth investing in a good shave gel and a foam butter and rolling back the skin to get a nice cut.
As for the Kronos it’s really sturdy and easy to clean, would highly recommend.

Kronos , a shaving miracle!!
I have discovered a great new way of improving my shaving experience. It’s a small privately owned company called Kronos . They make two razors , I have both, a weighty solid tactile chrome , and a really chic bamboo . They use the old fashioned single blade , which not only saves a fortune but gives a really close shave . I found multi bladed razors clogged up with hair and soap and flattened whiskers not cut them . I make my morning shave a really pleasurable experience, good massage with an expensive pre shave , soap with a brush and Kronos’ lovely sandalwood soap block , another massage with post shave and a final squirt of my favourite cologne . Heaven ! What a start to the day . Thank you Kronos !
