Just a scam. The GPU proposed on the pricing page are wrong and the ones with an affordable price are just never accessible.

Like other reviewers say....they are borderline scam. I got hit with a $200+ bill on an instance I wasn't using because of "time". I requested customer support to close it, and they wouldn't. I wasn't able to do it on my end...and another month I was charged $200+ for....nothing. Stay away.

Absolutely not recommended. I was “directed” there by ChatGPT.

Due to a small oversight, I accidentally incurred $30 in fees.

My request for a refund was answered with the note that unfortunately, no refunds are provided for this product. They offered me a $25 credit to use instead — but that also went nowhere.

The technical process of setting up an instance and then storage is extremely cumbersome. Additionally, the storage has to be in the same location as the instance. So if there’s no instance available in the location where you previously saved your stuff, you have to set up a new storage and configure everything all over again. Who comes up with something like this?

Awful site they charge you a *preauth* but they are so poor they steal those 10$ from you and refuse to refund. It’s been two weeks and I’ve contacted support multiple times and they still refuse to give the 10$ back cause apparently it’s automatically going to come back . 2 weeks is not normal and I’m still waiting. They are probably going to file for bankruptcy if they are stealing 10$ from their customers

Clean and nice panel. Easy to setup, but that's all they have, a look. You have to ask for instances to be unlocked for GPU's. And if they unlock, they randomly turn on their expensive instances randomly without notifying user - having GPU run days in idle without any notice nor message. I would stay far away from this scam company.

No instances are available on the GPU servers. Data and scripts stuck on a FileSystem not available for weeks now

I bought my first Tensorbook some two years ago. It worked well first, but then got overheated. It took a while, but I got a new one that works very well.
The laptop comes preinstalled with Ubuntu Linux and everything needed for AI development (no money to Microsoft!).

The laptop isn't cheap, but well worth the money!

Apart from the excellent speed and capacity, I think this laptop has exactly the connectivity I want on a laptop. No design compromise! I also like the mouse-pad and keyboard, which is back-lit of course.

The fan rarely makes any noise except sometimes during intense software builds, video meetings or when running Firefox (why?).

It is perfect for software development but can be used for watching movies or whatever.
The keyboard has American layout, but with Linux it's easy to change to other languages. I tried Swedish and Simplified Chinese. No problem - no license cost.

Note that this laptop is the earlier Tensorbook model with the black chassis. I haven't tested the new gray model.
