Huge endorsement for Langua!!! I've been learning Italian for 11 years now. A year with Duolingo and Rockett Languages, 9 years of evening classes, after which I was way off conversational. In 2024/25 I cranked up the effort every day using Babel and the Think in Italian app. Pretty good, they got me speaking and I improved dramatically. Enough to feel confident to go to Italy for an intensive 2-week course. Wow, full immersion was incredible, like a turbo charger, but 2 weeks passed in a flash, and I was left wondering how to keep things up similar to that experience. Enter Langua. I bought a full year subscription for $300 Aussie dollars (less than one semester of classes). Had to admit the first week was clunky as I was still experiencing mind block even with the AI. Then I discovered the Grammar practice, which is pretty like bouncing off ideas with your tutor. Speaking and getting corrected anytime you want. Multichoice on new difficult topics, then translate English to Italian, and then smashing out the shadowing sentences. It is truly amazing and I soon will be ready to do some conversations. I'm still running out my Babel subscription, but it is like a model T Ford to F1 supercar in comparison to Langua. If you're serious about your language learning, stop procrastinating and just sign up. You won't regret it.

Absolutely fantastic learning app. I wished I found it sooner. I really enjoy my daily chats and doing so has made me dread speaking less. I feel more confident putting all the learned vocabulary into real speech. Then there's the grammar learning - also excellent linking it with your stored vocab that is specific to you and also offering other ways to practice grammar. Really outstanding. I have been using this app daily now for about 4 months.

This is a great app, with very reasonable cost. The people who created are very personable, in that you can communicate suggestions to them and they will action them. The AI chat is very real, and you can have a conversation about anything you want. Last week I went to Barcelona for the weekend, and instead of spending hours researching my trip independently, I put the AI into the 'role' of tourist adviser and had a conversation about what I would like to do. I therefore planned my entire weekend with the support of the AI chat, and did it in Spanish. I also like reviewing my conversations a day later, and then adding all new vocab to my list and the app will then support me to practice new vocab. It is really worth paying for. It has really helped me.

I got the Langua app to help accelerate my learning to pass the German A1 and A2 exams. This app is amazing. I did not realize how my studying was lacking in that I was doing almost no speaking. This app fills the gap. I highly recommend it.

These guys are constantly improving the AI experience. I have benefitted substantially with every conversation with my tutor. It’s a joy to have such powerful support. It’s the best tool for boosting conversational skill and I’ve tried EVERYTHING!!!

I have to say that I am really enjoying the Langua App. I have used many more in the past but I would argue that this is the best I have used in my endeavour to learn Spanish. Furthermore it is improving all the time . I believe it to be good value for money. The customer care is also excellent.

I am very impressed with Langua. I have tried other apps to learn Spanish, but with Langua it is a completely different experience. It feels as if I have interactive access to a teacher that never gets tired.

I know it's getting trite to say this, but I'd love to give this app, and this company 50 stars or more. Sadly 5 is the limit. I discovered Langua many months ago now, and I hesitated to try it because it seemed higher priced than some other apps. But after I watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to use it, I decided I was not doing a very good job of learning French with the tools I was using, so I downloaded it, and I'm SO glad. It is worth every penny I pay. Especially when I consider it would take several apps to do what just this one can, by way of teaching and practice. My french speaking is improving in a way I didnt expect, and,Im delighted. I love talking to the "tutors" who are very friendly and conversational, who will correct mistakes and give me feedback if I want, or just talk. This app is so comprehensive (conversational, vocabulary, grammar, videos) that I can't list all of what it will do here. Just take their free trial and see for yourself. And if you want a bonus, I have discovered that the humans who produce this are mega-responsive to clarifying things and listening to customers. I'll just add this. I thought it would be hard to talk to a robotic voice, but it is much easier. I can freely make mistakes without feeling embarrassed! And there is NO way (so far) to learn a foreign language without mistakes.

This app is way beyond others that I have tried. Very realistic French ' speakers' with helpful corrections and cultural notes. You can also choose between British and American English which is a first! (and very much appreciated)
The team appear to be working hard with updates and refinements and are very responsive. I am incredibly pleased with this app for practising my spoken French every day.

The best app ever! I am so grateful to people who created and support this App! Now I've been learning Dutch with Langua for 6 month and I my speaking skilles improved significantly! I advise Langua to everybody who is willing to master a new language, it is so much better than group lessons, and even better than a private teacher.

If it worked as it should, it would be brilliant. But I'm afraid it doesn't.

Issues:

1. Very, very unreliable at receiving user responses to prompts given by AI. Very frustrating.

2. Mis-hears user responses in target language time and again.

3. Occasionally, but not too often, mispronounces words.

I think these bugs aren't acceptable in an app that costs £200 per year. I'm on a trial but won't be going forward.

I joined the site with great enthusiasm and even took a 1 year membership on the advertised assurance that one can cancel the membership any time they wish. While the app initially seemed promising, it soon became difficult to have a meaningful conversation. However, on trying to cancel the subscription and have a refund, it appears that it is only the subscription renewal that can be cancelled! The app was certainly not upfront about this and were obviously economical with the truth. If Langua persons are reading this, they need to respond or inform how one gets a refund.

I love this app and platform. It's like having a real conversation with a native speaker language coach. I get corrections and explanations, prompts to repeat phrases correctly, and have genuinely engaging chats. My Spanish has improved so much in a short time. Every once in a while, there is a tech glitch, but it really seems like the Langua team is on top of it and always working on improving the experience. Highly recommend!

I've tested all the major apps and more that you can find in the market to learn and practice languages. I really wanted to make significant progress quickly.
I know it's based on personal preferences and we're all different people and it's cool. But when you stay objective and compare the features Langua offers, Langua is far beyond all other apps.
what I like:
*You can choose and switch the dialects (for me American, Australian, British English, or Mexican Spanish...)
*You have different modes, AI models
*Auto correction and repeat which is very immersive and help you learn faster.
*You can enable memory and edit your interests, facts about you... so the AI will recognize certains facts what makes the conversations more natural.
*Flashcards, where you can add words from a conversation or manually...this mode is deep and offers many ways to practice vocabulary.
*The call mode is one of the best feature, I use this mode to have conversation in my car, on a stroll...it's like having a conversation on a phone.
*You can end conversations and get a real detailed feedback, and also in your history, open an continue an old conversation. Awesome!
*You have casual chats, role plays, debates, practice vocab and games, grammar or even the possibility to design your own chat.
*On the website, when logged you have access to podcasts, videos... with transcriptions and when you highlight a word or a phase it goes directly in your vocabulary list to practice with the app.
Even though I encountered a few bugs and of course there's room for improvement, It still worth every penny.
Honestly if you're willing to learn a language, I can recommend enough to use and abuse Langua, you'll see you progress skyrocket.

Tried the trial for Polish and not really a fan. I mean, it's obvious a lot of effort has gone into it and it certainly is what it says it is. But for me, the conversations aren't really realistic because they're stilted. The AI person says something, then explains it and then you have to try and repeat it while looking at the screen. Half the time it doesn't quite hear you properly or you get it wrong and even if you do get through some of the conversation, you then find yourself having to scroll back up when it asks you to say something you learned earlier but because the conversation is so stilted, you've long since forgotten. Also, the level it moves along at is waayyyyy too fast. My Polish wife was sat next to me and said "this is far too advanced for a beginner. Also, you will forget everything she says because you won't hear it often enough for it to stick", and I have to agree with her. Learning by real conversations is definitely the best way, but only by immersion so that you have context to what you hear and the regularity of hearing it. Like how a child learns to speak. I just don't think this works.

I think languatalk is one of the most customer oriented companies out there. I had some problems with their AI and they responded to my email immediately and explained some options I could do to improve the service. So many companies totally forget you exist once they have your money. Languatalk is just the opposite of this!

Fantastisk verktyg, använder det dagligen. Inte bara språkutvecklande, utan intressanta diskussioner om allt från träningsmetodik, filosofi, litteratur, politik mm. Mina varmaste rekommendationer!

If you don't try it, you'll never know. If you want to be able to speak another language try it. You be the judge.

I am really enjoying this app! The AI interface is so realistic and helpful, its like talking with a friend. I really enjoy the ability to speak freely in French, which I learned so long ago, but never get to speak. I love the corrections and opportunity to repeat phrases and create a vocab list. I like that I am not pestered with threatening animated characters if I miss or am late. Its all up to me! That said, since I seem to be pretty busy, I wouldn't mind if there was a text reminder I could set...sometimes the day gets too busy and I forget. Thanks for creating something so useful!
